Simping Kisses

Summary:

Henry loves to kiss Alex's neck when he's cooking.

Work Text:

Henry loves coming home to smells of dinner on the stove or in the oven.  He’s tried his best to learn how to cook when Alex gets pre-occupied with school, but he’s man enough to admit that he’s still got a ways to go.

So, he loves when Alex takes the time in the kitchen, it’s always delicious and it’s always a good night.  He knows that they try to have a date night regularly – at least once a week, and it is Alex’s turn to plan something. 

None of their dates have to be elaborate or extensive, sometimes just dinner and a movie done on purpose is enough.

He smiles as he follows the smell of the dinner to the kitchen.

Alex is there, as expected, stirring something on the stove and shaking his arse in time to some Spanish music playing through his phone.  Henry doesn’t understand the words, but he does enjoy the tune. 

He moves behind Alex and hugs him around the waist, pressing a kiss to the back of his neck.

Alex giggles.  “That tickles, baby.”

“I know, that’s why I do it,” Henry counters, repeating the kiss and causing Alex to shuffle them to the right of the stove and turn around in his arms. 

“You think you’re cute, do you?” Alex teases as he hops up on the counter, his legs split so Henry can crowd between them. 

“I have it on very good authority that I am, in fact, quite cute,” Henry offers, leaning up to give him a proper kiss.  “My boyfriend tells me this all the time.”

“He’s just simping, that’s all,” Alex teases.

Henry laughs.  “Yes, well, I share his simping tendencies.”

Alex smiles and gives him another kiss.  “Well, I’m certainly not complaining.”

“Good.  Then, we shall simp away together.”

“Love the sound of that.”

“Good.”
