Kelly Severide, Stella Kidd, and Emily Foster were tired of seeing Matt and Sylvie flirt with each other and neither of them doing anything about it, so one night at Mollie's
Stella-Are we okay then?
Emily-Yes-
Severide-Yes, I'm going to talk to Matt-
Stella-We're going with Sylvie-
Each of them went with their friends, and when the girls talked to Brett
Sylvie-I don't know, girls, I'm not in the mood-
Stella-Come on, it's going to be fun, just the three of us-
Emily-A distraction, let's go-
Sylvie- Okay-
At the bar with Matt and Severide
Matt-I thought the house was okay-
Severide-It is, but it needs some work to be used, and I don't know anyone better-
Matt-Alright, let's go see it-
Severide turned around and saw Stella with a smile and he nodded.
That weekend
Stella-why don't you go ahead, I have to go see something in Mollie, Herrmann ask me-
Emily-I'll go with you-
Sylvie-okay, see you there-
Brett went to Severide's country house and when she went in

Matt-I came to make some arrangements for Severide and you?-

Matt-Absolutely nothing, I'm not interested in Gabi. You're the only woman I care about, the only one I want to be with for the rest of my life because I'm deeply in love with you-
Sylvie-I thought my feelings weren't reciprocated, that you would never look at me-
Matt-Sylvie, I can't believe you didn't notice that you're the first one I see when I walk into the station, into Mollie's or any room, seeing you brings me joy and happiness-
Sylvie-You're also the first one I look for when I walk into a room, I'm totally and completely in love with you-
Matt took her by the waist, kissed her passionately, and when they let go

The rest of the trip, they didn't move from the bed, and when they went back to Chicago and back to the station
Severide-So, how was the trip?-
Matt-Good, very good-

Matt smiled as he walked in with Severide and in that moment
Stella and Emily-finally-
Matt just looked at Sylvie with a huge smile, who looked at him also with a huge smile.
