Shadow the hedgehog just wants to live somewhere far away for a bit, somewhere we're G.U.N agents can't find him for a while. He stumbles into a small village we're everyone welcomed him with open arms, but they have one rule for him if he wishes to stay. He must help protect the forest that lies on the side of the village. He is to become it's new guardian for the time period. Easy right, What could go wrong
Shadow is sitting in a cafe, that lies in the center of this new village he just stumbled upon. Everyone seems nice, welcoming, but something feels off ?
"More dark coffee for you sir" * saids a pink hedgehog that is working behind the counter, she's wearing a white apron with a flower design at the side. The owner of this cafe, Amy read there name tag*
"No, I'm fine thank you" *as I take a sip of my coffee a sign to be left alone. Not that the pink hedgehog took notice of it*
"So what brings ya here to our small town mister. Your visiting someone or just passing by. *Before he can answer she jumps in excitement shocking shadow a bit* OHH, are you the mister that people are talking about the one who is thinking about taken the job offer" *they say with a excitement, and in one breath too?*
*Gulping down the last of his coffee he looks up* "What job?"
"The guardian for the forest, there's been some bandits lately, messing with the alter for the forest spirit who lives there, along with setting up traps"
"Forest Spirit?" *he saids*
"Don't worry the spirits not real although that's what most towns people's say. Its just what we call the miracles that happened around here.They say praying to the spirit that lives in the forest can make them come down into town and help ya when there's danger. The spirit has help us a lot"
"So this spirit, it's what, just some guy mysteriously helping the town folk?" * he saids with his usual scowl*
"I gusse. People say it's a spirit, ghost, good Samaritan, as long as we keep there alter clean, good fortune comes"
*Shadow raises a eyebrow* "What happens if it's a mess" * he asks curiously*
"Well, nothing really, but once it was dirty and we didn't have any miracles for a week until it was cleaned. It's like they can't come out the forest mabye, I'm guessing, if you want to know more of the job, the work tavern down the street can give you more details, the owner there will tell ya all you need to know" *she saids with a smile, before attending the other customers*
"A spirit in the forest , huh?" *as shadow sip his tea and stares out the small cafe window*
In the forest a blue ghost speeds through the tress, the sound of a light bell following his every move
