It’s Hard Being Casual

Summary:

Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha: two famous names in corporate enterprises all over Konoha. Two famous people that have the greatest power over any other business. Two famous people that are at each other’s throats (tragically).

One day, one of them decided to try to sweet talk the other into deals and terms that would favor the other. These “sweet” conversations turned into full on fucking and blowjobs.

Slowly but surely, this little empty game of theirs started becoming real. They already fucked up with their friendship once when they were younger, so what’s there to lose?

Notes:

Hey hey! Starting another fic (that I hope I’ll finish) since my friend suggested a Work AU fic. I’m going to do my best to make this engaging lolz-

Tags and such will be modified/updated gradually throughout the story. Idk, though. This is also my first time writing smut. Eventual, multi-chapter smut at that. Woah!

Chapter 1: The Idea That Starts It All

Summary:

Madara got the idea to hit up Hashirama even though his intentions are entirely for his own advantage.

Notes:

Note from 12/28/2025- I edited some things to make it better since I’m adding a new chapter soon ^^

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Siiiiighhh. . .

Hashirama leans back in his chair as he looks at the piles and piles of seemingly endless paperwork. Damn, being a CEO wasn’t really always to his best interest. It’s totally worth it, though. The city of Konoha literally depends on his business and his contributions. Hell, Hashirama was the founder of this whole city before he decided to move onto business work for the sake of the city once more. It truly was a difficult job, but he always pushed through, especially with Madara.

Everyone in the city knew what the deal was. Konoha was originally supposed to be a founding collaboration between Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, but there was an unknown argument between the two which caused them to part ways. Ever since, Hashirama has been focused on moving on and doing on what’s best for his dream city and the people living in this beautiful place, but Madara has been making that task quite difficult. He constantly tries to one-up him; tries show him that his way of controlling the city is best, although the process itself would be horrible for the inhabitants which is exactly what Hashirama is trying to avoid.

Madara’s attempts to best Hashirama have slowly become obsessive, and his original business purpose has become shallow, completely replaced with the purpose of beating Hashirama’s sorry ass. Obviously, he’s failed multiple times or else he wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place.

Izuna was walking in his office with a detailed report on Madara’s business just to be greeted with Madara sitting on his chair; apparently on the verge of going batshit crazy —if he hasn’t already— as he messily shoved all his papers off his desk in a rampage. Well, it seems another one of his plans went bad.

Izuna winced but proceeded anyways and cleared his throat before speaking. He’s done this plenty of times before as co-CEO anyways.

“Sooooo… things didn’t go as you wanted?”

Madara just looked up at him with a tired expression. “Do I look like I finally bested Hashirama?”

Izuna shook his head.

“Your question has been answered.”

Izuna has been aware that Madara has been going at this for several years, but he couldn’t help but feel concerned every now and then. He was his brother, after all, and he didn’t see any improvement on him at all. In fact, Madara has gotten worse with so many failed attempts throughout these years. He has significantly less patience, is most likely sleep deprived, and has made every little thing about Hashirama. Like, he can never stop thinking about him. Actually, this obsession sounds like someone who’s denying his love, but that would be absolutely stupid. Everyone who knows what happened back then knows he only liked him during his childhood and his childhood only, and that love for him had been lost long ago. This is simply a fixation over a mere goal he wants to achieve.

There was an awkward silence between the two afterwards. Izuna even forgot what he came here for in the first place. He does recall something that could help his brother, though.

“Anyways, Madara, I’ve been grabbing information from Hashirama’s business as you requested and-“

“By seeing his little brother? Not like I see much use to it, though. You two might be ‘boyfriends’ or whatever but that bastard is not going to drop what I want so easily. Not even to you.”

Izuna caught the hint loud and clear as a faint blush crept up his cheeks. He’s done his best to hide it, but after the argument between Hashirama and Madara from years ago, something clicked between him and Tobirama. Basically, they picked up what the other two left behind. Izuna doesn’t even know how he was able to pull someone like Tobirama. He always seemed so… cold and serious. Hell, he even has an extremely valid dislike for the Uchihas (now with Izuna as an exception) and attempted to murder Izuna (although that may be a exaggeration) before they slowly grew close to intimacy. They’ve done their very best to hide it ever since their relationship was somewhat solidified, but Hashirama and Madara found out on their own anyways. Not that they care, though. Hashirama simply said good for them with all his support and Madara… well… he just didn’t give a shit.

“We’re not boyfriends; never mind, then.”

There was quite a bit of awkward silence afterwards. Madara was still thinking and Izuna had nothing to say, yet he still remained in his office.

Suddenly, something clicked in Madara’s head, that son of a bitch. Of course, he just had to tell someone, and who better to tell than his faithful, beloved brother Izuna?

Said Izuna was about to walk out of his office but Madara halted him by raising his hand and calling him out.

“Wait, Izuna.”

He relaxedly leaned back in his chair, put his arms behind his head, and crossed his legs on the table. Guess he thought of something. Again.

Izuna thought as he turned around to face him.

"And what have you thought of this time? It better not be shitty. I don't think you would cope well with yet another failure. So soon, at that," he said, shaking his head.

Madara rolled his eyes as if he what he said was the biggest lie he had ever heard.

"Oh, please," he waved his hand dismissively at him, "this plan is absolutely perfect. So, look: Hashirama is the nicest man I know, so if I act nice, he is bound to accept me. This way, I can keep gaining his trust more, more, and more until he is finally at my will. He will do what I want eventually."

Izuna thought for a second and reasoned that Madara finally is onto something. As a result, he smiled at him and quickly clapped his hands.

“Yeah, that’s right,” Madara said more to himself than Izuna, “that’s what I’m gonna do.” He then began to laugh maniacally as he yelled out, “this is going to be one hell of a show starring your downfall, Hashirama!”

Yep, he totally wasn’t directing this at Izuna anymore. This was personal.
