These are some of the ways the bubbly cinnamon roll, Burgess, would show his love.
Gift-Giving
- He may be a cinnamon roll, but this guy is strict about staying hydrated!
- Burgess makes sure the Builder is staying hydrated. He brings them mineral-rich water, yakmel milk, sweet sandberry juice, summer sand tea, and more! He doesn't want the best Builder in Sandrock collapsing from the hot weather.
- Burgess likes to tend to the plants in Sandrock. He waters them, takes care of weeds, etc. If they are overgrowing, a little trim here and there helps overall. What does it do with the excess? Well, he makes a wonderful bouquet of flowers for the Builder.
Quality Time
- After the end of each day, Burgess and Builder would relax and talk about their day. Things like: what they did, stuff that upset them, and encounters they've had.
- Burgess can make a date out of anywhere, really.
- If he wants to go on a date with the Builder, he can make it happen. Like picnicking, going to the oasis, a date of watering plants around Sandrock, and monitoring the At Risk Citizens (ARCs) at Sandrock with Builder.
Physical Touch
- Burgess likes to boop Builder's nose.
- He likes hand-holding; it is sweet and comforting to him.
- Builder should get accustomed to hugs. Burgess loves hugs. He loves giving them to Builder, and he loves receiving them from Builder. He is like a comforting teddy bear after all.
- He loves giving the Builder massages, too. After a long day at work, Builder can relax with Burgess's help.
Words of Affirmation
- With the Geegler and Duvos attack, Burgess sometimes worries about Builder's mental health, too.
- He checks up on them. He asks about their day and how they are doing so far. If there are problems the Builder has, Burgess would try to find solutions for them.
Receiving
Here are some of the ways to show Burgess Builder loves him.
Gift-Giving
- He appreciates when Builder makes trinkets for him. He cherishes it because, in his mind, Builder took time out of their day to make something for him.
- He also loves receiving flowers.
- Burgess loves to eat what the Builder cooks. If the Builder is a bad cook, Burgess loves it anyway. They say love is blind, even when it comes to cooking.
- When the Builder is away, and Burgess is hungry, he would eat what the Builder made. Sometimes it makes him feel close to the Builder, like they are right there with him.
Physical Touch
- Burgess loves to cuddle. He is cuddly after all. He loves giving cuddles to Builder and receiving them in return from Builder. Imagine him giving the Builder cuddles while they read a book.
- After tending to the plants, picking up trash, and being outside, Burgess likes to get massages from the Builder. It helps loosen the tense muscles from a hard day's work.
Quality Time
- Burgess is a busy guy, so bringing the lunch and asking him if he is hydrated would make his day even better. He loves when Builder checks up on him. It makes him feel loved.
- When living with Builder, he has his own area where he grows his plants.
- It is also an area where he and Builder can go to relax.
- Burgess also loves when the builder is there for his sermons. He feels even braver when speaking because Builder is there.
