THE OFFICIAL SMGPJ TIMELINE

Replacement Episodes:

SMG4: Boys Vs. Girls > SMG4: SPLATTACK - after the mess within anime island, Meggy decides to go to the bi monthly splatfest with the rest of the Splatsquad but runs into someone unexpected.... her twin cousin, Army and Team Orange

SMG4: Let’s Visit Peach > SMG4: Let’s Save the Princess!! - Set immediately in the aftermath of IGBP, the gang prepares to rescue Peach from the Demon Pit, but all may not be what it seems

Arcs:

The Anime Arc is not caused by,,, well Peach banning anime but by the serial disappearance of Inklings alike and in this case the Squidbeal Splatoon are one of the main protagonists of this arc while also revealing that Meggy is apart of the Splatoon as well being a new hire code named Agent 4, having just saved Callie from getting kidnapped. This also means that Desti is a Rival Octoling, who often butted heads with Agent 4 during the campaign.

Lawsuit Arc When You Wish Upon a Ztar (Mario and Luigi Arc) - The infamous Ztar has made a return along with a new force of evil called the Wishing Band, meanwhile Meggy discovers she somehow has ice powers which are actively killing her it gets worse when these very powers threaten to bring the Mushroom Kingdom into an early winter and permanent ice age

[Important arc notes:]

• The final wish that was accidentally granted inadvertently created Ichorheart who as of right now is dormant (Ichorheart is separate personality to Meggy made to "Protect" her mental and physical well being)
• Ztar and the God Box are connected
• Puzzles is hinted to exist but hasn't become Puzzles yet so to speak
• Meggy unlocks her hand powers from a forgotten god of ice called Frostand or in its corrupted state Blizzarrend but due to it's nature it's highly volatile and as mentioned unstable threatening to bring back the ice age and fuck up the carp population
• This coupled with Ztar returning means that the Mario Siblings need to not only find the missing Frost Temple of the Stars but also find the Star Cosmos Comet before Ztar and his cult
• Mario Sibling Bonding
• Luisley is now canon
• SQUIDBEAK SPLATOON ARE VERY IMPORTANT

Regal Reunion - Peach is back, although not for the better, seemingly aiming to revive the God Box in her terms to bring the "greatest show to grace the mushroom kingdom"

[Important arc notes:]

• Puzzles is now testing the demonic goop thanks to the god box shard in his head
• This arc is beta Puzzles park but unlike it was actually almost successful if it weren't for the mario siblings using the the power star to cure Peach
• PEACH IS BACK!! (Tho more traumatized and in need of therapy)
• Smg4 and gang were going to rescue Peach when they realised she was missing with "Let's Visit Peach" being apart of this arc albeit heavily rewritten to better fit the "Oh god the monarch of the kingdom we live in is missing" to "OH GOD SHES A MONSTER NOW" Pipeline now with it being called "Let's Save the Princess!!"
• Meggy better improves her manipulation of Star Power and her proficiency with Frostand
• Meggy and Peach immediately become besties after Meggy finds out Peach is a pro Charger main and plays in turf war matches (this is actually canon Peach has a ridiculous K/D ratio in Splatoon 2)

Battle of The Hellbands (mini arc) - Saiko and Kaizo enter a battle of the bands in order to get the cash prize to get Saiko a new guitar, however not everything is as it seems as a familiar face to KS-2 appears, meanwhile Meggy and Callie try to figure out what Captain 3 is hiding

[Important arc notes:]

• The first mini-arc to SMGPJ
• Saiko turns out to be half-demon (though her powers aren't as straight forward bcs of the mixed blood)
• The main antagonist is Sera, the main love interest in Saiko’s original game Kevin’s School, brought to this world accidentally by remnants of the Anime Cartel, with Sera being the daughter of a Seraphim, however the above world outside of her game along with the whatever the Anime Cartel’s ritual seemed to have made her less… kind
• Captain 3 is discovered to be DJ Sango

Inkopolis Championship - When Meggy runs into Goggles from the infamous wildcard turfwar squad, Team Blue, she ends up getting roped into helping Team Blue with beating Team Purple, which soon snowballs into her getting attached to the squad of goofballs and helping them train

• Not really an arc more like an anthology series
• Meggy inadvertently becomes a mom (she does not know this)
• Team Blue being adorable dorks, and looking up to Meggy
• Mario and Luigi being uncles
• General silly times with found family
• Tari also gets to accidentally be a mom, her and Headphones are gamin buddies
• Goggles and Mario get along like a house on fire for better or worse
• Specs is learning the ropes of “How to deal with your local dummy” from Luigi
• gay so much gay just gay, megari acting like they’ve been married for 3 years

☆ STUPID STAR SAGA ☆ (Brothership Arc) - The Glitchy Gang and others are sucked into a random portal opened by the Mario Siblings hand powers during a training session, NOW THEIR IN A COMPLETELY NEW WORLD!! Let's set sail to the high seas- CONCORDIA AWAITS!!

[Important arc notes:]

• The gang gets closer and improves their bonds and friendship
• Connie becomes apart of the family (Connie Mario if you will)
• Melony finds out she can open portals (neat)
• Luigi gets a new magic tree that acts as a gateway for the Mushroom Kingdom and Concordia
• Meggy and Tari actually get together- (thank god took then long enough)
• Smg4 proposes to Smg3 (also thank god)
• Peach and Mario are reassembling their friendship after the mess with the demonic ooze
• The gang gets new stuff and also powers(?)
• Saiko starts to unlock her demon powers after she gets over her childhood trauma (and also the mess with Sera)
• Team Blue and Meggy being the family ever
• Ichorheart starts manifesting stronger due to the Glohm but the others (Meggy included) just chalk it up to Frostand being once forgotten had a weird reaction to Glohm
• Tari starts to feel… odd, and so does Clench (Tascorp crumbs)

Static and Ink - Team Blue find themselves facing… themselves! The Shadow Inklings have made their appearance and aren’t keen on telling Inkopolis why they want to fight their originals… however something dark lurks in the shadows. If Shadow Inklings are made from an inkling’s determination and passion… then where’s Meggy’s shadow?

[Important arc notes:]

• This is the Shadows Arc from the splatoon manga but with a twist
• The shadows are born in a realm called the Resonance Zone, a place where all sound from the world coalesces into a single point when Deca Tower was created it somehow became a doorway to this world which became a breeding ground for Shadow Inkfish to be made in
• Shadow Octolings do exist, they just don’t give enough of a fuck to go leave the Resonance Zone
• Shadow Inkfish are walking sound batteries and are frequencies made alive, however they need time to recharge so they can’t leave Inkopolis or stay out for too long
• this arc is rather horror based due to the nature of Deca Shadow Meggy
• Smth i have lovingly called the Analogue Horror arc
• Team Shadow Blue, Team Blue and Team Splatsquad jump an analogue horror monster and give it therapy
• Meggy reconciles with her old team mates much to Heavy Squid’s joy
• Tari connects to Deca Tower in order to help Shadow Meggy, which worked ofc but uhm… had an unfortunate side effect

Meme Runner - When Tari goes missing after some weird happenings, the gang band together to go look for their little blue jay, meanwhile Tari finds herself in a city that’s eerily familiar after escaping a group of men sent by some company named Tascorp, not only does she now have to navigate this new city but also surfacing memories Clench seems… weirdly set on keeping under the surface. Also why the hell is Belle beefing with her????

• Oh boy.
• Tari finds out her origins about herself and Lucia
• Meta Runner in the format and context of SMG4
• Tari Fucking Dies.
• Meggy fucks off to the Splatlands with Sofia right behind her
• Saiko doesn’t know what to do anymore and her demon blood is going wild
• The crew is having a very bad time
• It’s just a bad time all around
• At least Mario got his pineapple spaghetti… a who is he kidding this shit sucks ass
