Chapter Text
Seo Jiwon, 18 years old, had no parents, only him and his brother left.
He breathed heavily, the cold wind softly hitting his face. He rubbed his hands together to warm them up. It was cold weather, but he didn't care.
All the kids had thick and soft jackets to keep themselves warm. He sighed and kept walking until he reached his destination.
"Jaewon High School? This place is trashed. Where are the teachers?" he thought.
He felt nauseous before he even went inside. There were a lot of students wearing anything except for the dress code itself.
As he continued walking, he saw her — a chubby girl. She wasn’t ugly, it was just her weight. But she was well-behaved; the way she walked, talked, and wrote, it was beautiful.
He had been thinking about her for a solid thirty minutes, and he didn’t even realize the bell had rung meaning he was late for class.
The girl noticed he had been watching her for a while.
"Uh, hello?" she asked.
His face turned dark red after realizing that the girl he had been thinking of was right in front of him — and god, she looked even cuter up close.
"H-hi..." he stuttered.
"Are you a new student?" she asked.
He nodded. "I-I was w-wondering i-if you can show m-me where the vocal and dance class is..." he replied, his hands trembling like crazy.
"Of course! Follow me, I know where it is."
As they walked together, he asked the girl what her name was, just to break the awkwardness between them.
"Choi Soojung! You can just call me Crystal, it's my English name," she answered.
"Crystal? it’s cute, like the owner. By the way, mine’s Seo Jiwon. Just call me Jiwon."
They continued talking until they reached his class.
"It’s nice meeting you. We’ll talk again at lunch," he said.
She smiled in response, her smile was as warm as the sun, making him feel butterflies in his stomach.
