Today’s mission ended with Aqua inside a giant frog’s stomach… again. Kazuma really hated how he had been saying this would happen but his team dragged him onto this mission again. This time however the frog who eats Aqua decided to jump away and the team spent two hours tracking it. Kazuma swore he would hit Aqua’s head really hard this time and will be no reward to her.
Kazuma’s team really hadn’t expected what they found in the end, the frog was death being eaten for assault ants and Aqua was free
“I hate these frogs!!” she cried running toward, covered with half disintegrated frog’s slime
Kazuma stopped her before she could touch them
“What the hell did I say to you about not running into a frog and hitting it!” he started “we lost two hours because of you”.
Aqua began to cry and hit Kazuma, who tried to avoid her contact with the slug. Finally he signed
“What happened with the frog anyway?”
“Well duh, it was my power” Aqua said like it would be obvious
Kazuma frozen
“Your power can’t hurt living things… you can only hurt undead”
“No, dummy” Aqua emphasized the last word” my power always purifies liquids that contain water, especially when I am stressed. I was into the frog's stomach, its acid began to turn into water. It end puked me when its stomachache and its breathing problems started”
“But why is it dead?” Kazuma blinked twice “wait… breathing problems?”
“Well… I was kicking it from inside, I suppose I hurt its stomach a little and I touch its blood”
“And?” Kazuma asked confused
“Well, its blood is also a liquid and principally water” she continued “when my power increased its blood began to turn into water. Its red blood cells began to disappear and nutrients too. Soon the frog's body was suddenly starved and suffocating at the same time, it began to move slowly and then he fell into the anthill” Aqua finished to explain. “I am so tired today, I need wine" she sobbed
Kazuma took another look at the frog. It hadn’t felt in the anthill, it had crawled into the anthill intentionally.
“I need also a drink” he said “many drinks”
The day ended with the team speeding their mission’s money in the guild’s bar
“Kazuma” Darkness started shyly “Do you think if Aqua touch an open wound on my body…?”
“Shut up” Kazuma and Megumin shouted “we are not drunk enough!”
