   Summary

   Carla Connor, the practice manager of the busy Rosamund Street Medical Centre, finds herself tasked with finding a locum GP after Dr Gaddas suffers a heart attack and has to go off sick. Fortunately, there's a new GP in the area who's looking for work. She's capable and has a sharp wit - exactly what's needed to deal with the patients of Coronation Street and the surrounding areas. Carla hopes she'll fit in with the practice team and fill the hole left behind by Dr Gaddas. And if they could be friends...that would be an added bonus.
