[Ambience Music: Winds Embrace - Peritune]
In a grassy field with a dirt road, a woman walks along it. Her eyes were a periwinkle shade of blue, with white hearts above the pupils. Her skin is slightly pale, with freckles on her face. She has a slender figure, wearing a black dress with periwinkle frills. She also had long black hair with the underlayer as a similar shade of periwinkle. She had short black pigtails as well, along with a periwinkle maid headdress. Her nails were also black, but also claw-like. She had a ghost-like tail that was also jelly-like with a black bow adorned with a cat-like skull tied to it. Her tail also showed bones from being a see-through shade of periwinkle. Lastly, her cat-like ears were black with a shade of periwinkle on the inside and white fur.
As the woman travels along the road, she thinks back on recent events. She once had used some of her ghost-like creatures known as Broners, cat-like creatures with bones surrounded by a jelly-like ectoplasm similar to her tail. These creatures also wore a bow similar to her tail as well only it was worn as a bowtie and had a pink heart instead of a skull. Broners are her servants, souls she once created to oppose her contractor known as Fang. She learned that she was too desperate to save her life once before, making a deal with Fang to collect souls for him. The woman was a fallen princess, eventually learning that Fang was the one that orchestrated her downfall. The fallen princess secretly collected souls, turning them into Broners to oppose Fang, but upon discovery she was once banished into a castle in the sky. Eventually, she crossed paths with a man known as Frost as she continued to collect souls by guiding others to her castle. Through a contract of competition made with Frost, she had experienced her first ever loss to him. But to her surprise, Frost freed her from her contract with Fang. Frost then helped her face the trap that Fang had set, and the two had parted ways since then, each with their own reasons to look for ways to eventually defeat Fang. She also parted ways with her Broners, leaving them to keep tabs on the castle so it may become a base of operations for her.
After reminiscing, the fallen princess eventually walks into a fairly town, bustling with various people and creatures. Once there, she visits a shop clerk, one known for using clothing magic. Upon describing what she wanted her new look to be, the woman offered her payment under the name "Nekrolina". After using the shop's services to permanently alter her normal clothing through magic, Nekrolina looks at herself in a mirror. Her new outfit now dons a black plaid crop top that exposes her belly, along with a black pleated skirt with a slight fishnet design above the waist. The skirt also has a black belt with a black heart buckle, and the crop top has periwinkle frills along the top of it. Her legs now wear different leggings and she no longer wears the maid-like headdress. Her right leg has a black stocking-like thigh-high, with her left wearing a similar thigh-high only more see-through like with a fishnet design. she also has a black garter on her left leg as well. She also wears black boots that cover her shins, with periwinkle laces and a periwinkle heart on the vamp of the boots. Lastly, she wears black bridal gauntlets on both arms, with the frilled lace of her gauntlets and left thigh-high being adorned with a periwinkle bow. She twirls on the spot in front of the mirror, liking her new look.

After leaving the store, she moves about the town. "What now Lina?", she thinks to herself as she wonders what her next move should be. She had already thought to ask for clues about Fang once she reached town, but she also can't openly do so since Fang may also be looking for her. This is another reason why she figured she should change her look, as Fang originally banished her to that castle in the sky right before her previous appearance. However, to Lina's luck, she hears a boom and a bit of a commotion nearby. Noticing the directions the crowd is looking, she rushes to the scene as her pupils turn cat-like. Once there, she happens to find a blonde-haired woman talking to someone in the crowd. The woman asks about the disappearance of some of the townsfolk. After the blonde-haired woman learns that there was indeed a kidnapping, the woman blurts out the words "Could it be connected to the others?", indicating that this wasn't the first time. Feeling a need to understand the situation, Lina approaches the blonde haired woman, asking "Excuse me, but could you tell me what's going on?"
The blonde haired woman turns toward Lina, looking at her with her sky-blue eyes. The woman wears a white crop top that covers her neck, adorned with black belts that look like a frontal brace. She also wears white shorts, with black covering parts of her hips. She also wears a black fingerless glove on her right hand and a black bracelet on her left hand, with her fingers looking slightly periwinkle-like. She also wears a white jacket on her shoulders, with gold coloring the inside and black as the trim. This jacket also has black crown-like diamonds around the sleeves and wrists of the jacket, while also hovering from the hair buns on each side of her head. Her long blonde hair also flows freely, with two black diamonds as one hair clip and a single black diamond as a hair clip on the opposite side. She also wears intentionally torn leggings, with her right one being a black thigh-high and the left one being a yellow thigh-high that changes into black. Both thigh-highs also have diamonds decorating them as well in the design, with orange trim at her feet. The blonde-haired woman speaks up, asking "What would you like to know?". Lina then says, "I'm a bit worried about the disappearances and would like to know what's happening. I'm not from here, but still feel like I could help you". The blonde woman laughs, saying "You're quite an interesting one. My name is Kaneko Lumi, but you can just call me Lumi." as she offers a handshake. Lina shakes her hand saying "I'm Nekrolina, but you can call me Lina." as she smiles back. However, little did these two know that this would be the start of a very long and interesting adventure for them.
