Work Text:

'Why am I suddenly so nervous about this?' The sinner thought angrily in his head.

His red and black furred deer-like ears flattened to his skull, as he stared at the door to the room the King of Hell occupied.

A buzz of annoyed static filled the air as the red clad man glanced at the sign next to the door that read 'No Alastors Allowed'.

An inky black tentacle slowly rose from the floor by the man's feet, and with one swipe, knocked the sign from the wall.

Giving the broken sign a good kick down the hallway for good measure, the sinner fixed the labels of his coat and wiped imaginary lint from his sleeves before raising a red claw tipped fist to knock vigorously on the door.

The loud squeak of thousands of rubber ducks and a growling muffled curse could be heard from behind the door.

Then, the sound of shuffling along with more cursing before the door was quickly pulled open by an obviously flustered Lucifer.

The sinner's glowing red eyes swept from the top of the king's golden hair down to the fuzzy duck slippers on his hooved feet.

The oversized, well-worn pink sweater covered in rubber ducks that clung to him like children waiting for a parent's affection, looked cozy, and the white and pink striped pajama pants looked ridiculous.

Finally letting his eyes rest on the diminutive monarch's own gold and red ones, the demon found himself frozen by the hard glare in Lucifer's eyes.

"Oh, it's you." Lucifer growled. "I thought you were someone important. Like Charlie."

"Charming, sire." The Radio Demon drolled, filtered voice leaving no question about how he felt at the king's 'warm welcome'.

"Look, can't you read?" Lucifer asked, annoyed as he used a thumb to point at the wall beside him. "The sign clearly says... the fuck... where's my sign?"

The king practically jumped out of the doorway, nearly knocking into the overlord, as he stared at the now empty wall.

"Hm." Alastor hummed softly, placing his right pointer finger to his chin in mock consideration. "My oh my, whatever could have happened to it. Oh, we must have had some vandals sneak into the hotel."

"You dirty son of a bitch!" Lucifer grumbled, turning to the sinner and moving into his personal space, stopping only once their noses softly brushed. "You tacky bell hop! What did you do with my sign?"

Outwardly, Alastor seemed to be doing an amazing job of keeping his composure, but inwardly, Lucifer's sudden close proximity was doing something funny to the Radio Demon's insides that he had never experienced before. Not until he first laid eyes on the short king.

He felt like his stomach was filled with thousands of bugs with large wings that were tickling his insides in a pleasant flutter, his skin was going hot, then cold and back again repeatedly.

The fingers of his left hand that was currently holding his microphone was spastically clenching and unclenching with the almost irresistible urge to touch the other man's red circled cheek. And an unfamiliar buzzing in his head was making him feel lightheaded.

"Hey!" Lucifer yelled, snapping his fingers in Alastor's face two or three times, trying to get his attention. "You hear anything I just said, Red Guy?"

Alastor suddenly stiffened, before shaking his head, trying to banish the odd fluffy fog that had filled it.

"What was that, your majesty?" Alastor asked as he quickly looked away to try and gather his thoughts again.

"Pffh!" Lucifer huffed with a laugh. His annoyed frown slowly turned into an adorably awkward smile.

'Adorable?' Alastor asked himself confused. 'Why would I think...'

"Fuck it. Whatever." Lucifer said with a dismissive wave of a pitch black hand. "What do you want? And make it quick."

Alastor smiled wider, as he quickly pulled himself back on track. "Of course, Sire. But, you see, I'm not here about something for me. I'm here because I believe I can do something for you."

Lucifer paused at the threshold of his door, before quickly turning to look at the red suited overlord confused. "Something for me. Ha! Yeah, right."

Lucifer stepped back into his room, but froze, as Alastor appeared from the shadows before him.

"I'm quite serious about this, your majesty." Alastor said confidently, as he quickly let his red eyes scan the duck themed sanctuary of the king of hell.

The king gave the sinner a dubious look. "Fine. If it will get you out of here faster, then speak. Quickly."

Alastor felt a different kind of buzz, one of excitement flow through his veins as he clicked his heels and stood up straighter.

"I would like to make you an offer, Sire." Alastor began before a soft dark finger touched his bottom lip, before being quickly removed before the demon could even understand his own reaction to such a move.

"Okay, I'm going to stop you right there, Mister. Do you really think I'm crazy enough to enter any kind of deal with you? With any sinner for that matter?" Lucifer asked, sounding genuinely curious.

Alastor felt his perpetual smile darken a fraction at the king's words. "Of course not, Sire. You're far too smart for that.”

Lucifer gave Alastor an annoyed look, but the Radio Demon pushed on before the king stop him again. “But, if you would permit me to finish, I think you will find my offer to be the exception."

"Right." Lucifer scoffed. "And what can 'you', a filthy sinner, offer to 'me', the King of Hell?"

Alastor's eyes flashed black with red radio dials for a moment, a screech of feedback crackling from his microphone before he composed himself and started over again.

"Well, Sire, it seems that during the Vee's failed takeover, some unfortunate information about yourself seems to have come to the attention of your subjects." Alastor politely explained.

Lucifer's ruby and gold eyes narrowed slightly. "Oh yeah?"

"Yes. Quite unfortunate news, indeed." Alastor tsked. "I mean, to find out that our ‘beloved’ king is unable to punish us the way we all feared. That he is, in fact, a 'king' in name only. A figure head. And well..."

Lucifer's eyes bleed red and his horns just barely poked out of his head.

Alastor shivered oddly, as a quiet but feral growl left the devil's lips and vibrated through the sinner's bones.

"Get to your point." Lucifer growled, voice echoing and dark.

"Um..." Alastor stumbled, mind filling with that strange fog again, at the feel of the king's power slowly filling the space around them. "Yes, of course. What I am saying, sire, is that I'd like to offer you my services."

"What?" Lucifer gasped, his demonic features instantly disappearing in his shock, as he stared at the demon. "What are you talking about?"

"It's quite simple, your majesty. We make a deal that whenever you come across a sinner who needs to be taught a lesson or put back in their place, you call on 'me' to perform that act which you are incapable of enacting." Alastor said simply, his heart hammering against his ribs in nervous anticipation, as he fought to remain composed on the outside.

"Wha... um... wait...?" Lucifer stammered, confused.

"The same, obviously, would go for any royal acts that you would otherwise be unable to perform. Such as disposing of your enemies. Or relaying orders to the masses. And I would be at your beck and call to serve, Sire." Alastor said with a slight bow for dramatic flare.

Lucifer stared at the top of Alastor's blood red and pitch black hair in astonishment before gasping out a gruff. "Why?"

"Why?” Alastor chuckled with glee that the king had not outright said ‘no’, yet. “Well, I only wish to help you, my king." Alastor simpered in a sickeningly sweet voice.

"Right." Lucifer mocked. "Just out of the goodness of your sin filled little heart, right?"

Alastor nodded graciously, his smile almost splitting his face. "Exactly, Sire."

Lucifer suddenly leaned back, with one hand over his eyes and the other holding his stomach, as he let out a deep, rich, booming laugh. The sound of it made Alastor's body tingle in a way he'd never known before, and he found that he didn't hate it.

"Oh! Oh, my dad!" Lucifer continued to laugh, gasping for breath every other minute. "Oh, wow! You're... you're actually serious!"

Alastor's red eyes darkened, brow furling in annoyance, and ears flattening. "Haha! Yes sire, I'm quite serious."

Lucifer suddenly stopped laughing as he stared intently into the other man's eyes. Alastor stiffened at that gaze, it felt like he was being opened up and his insides pulled out for closer scrutiny.

"Really, though. Why would you offer yourself to me in this way?" The king asked, dryly. “I mean,… do you even understand what you're suggesting?”

Alastor didn't know why his throat was suddenly so dry, but he stood up to his full height, hoping the king didn't notice. "Because..."

Lucifer continued to stare the Radio Demon down, silently, waiting.

"Because..." Alastor found his words leaving him, as his eyes involuntarily swept over the smaller man again, as he searched for his train of thought. "Because, I think it would benefit us both, Sire."

"Explain." Lucifer demanded, tapping his fingers on an arm.

"As I said, you need a way to properly rule, that means being able to dole out the punishment your subjects deserved when they deserve it, give commands and have them obeyed, make sure no one tries to overtake your kingdom again." Alastor explained. "And, well, I… well, I would get to have all the fun of fulfilling all of that for you."

Lucifer paled slightly at that admission. "Oh, fuck! That's sick, you know that, right? You just want a reason to hurt people without consequences"

Alastor tilted his head at what had to be an uncomfortable angle with a loud crack, his voice coming out more filtered than normal. "I'm a sinner, remember, Sire? I've done worse."

"Okay." The king said uneasily. "Give me one good reason why I should even come close to humoring any of this insanity."

"Oh, I think I can convince you with just one word, your majesty." Alastor said, confidently, a trickle of bright red blood oozing from his mouth and down his chin with his excitement.

"Ha! Alright! Wow me!" The fallen angel dared.

Alastor leaned in close, feeling the angel's breath on his face and allowing the king's scent of fire, brimstone, and...flowers… apple blossoms, maybe, swirl around him in a dizzying cloud.

"Charlie." The Radio Demon said simply.

The next thing he knew, Alastor found himself slammed against the nearest wall, his wrists being held above his head in a strong, almost bone crunching grip, and the full force of Lucifer's demonic facade, wings and all, were staring him in the face.

"Are you threatening my daughter!?" Lucifer yelled, his fiendish voice making the glass in the room rumble.

Alastor swallowed thickly, his legs feeling oddly weak for a man that was wholly unafraid of the creature floating before him.

"Not at all, Sire. I want Charlie, as well as everyone in the hotel, to remain safe just as much as you." Alastor said quickly, trying to deescalate the tension as fast as possible.

"Then why bring her up?" The devil growled, gripping the sinner's wrists tighter.

"Consider what happened with Vox." Alastor grumbled, still upset about the whole thing himself, even if it had helped to finally free his soul from Rosie's deal. "You were completely unable to help her. In fact, your inability to dispense any kind of real retribution, either verbal or physical, actually made things worse, did it not?"

Lucifer's devilish appearance slowly melted away at this, as he landed back on the floor, his wings drooping miserably, his grip loosening in his despair. "Fuck..."

Alastor didn't dare to move. In fact, he was entirely sure he couldn't, his stomach was twisting in strange knots at the feel of so much Lucifer in his personal space. 'What is wrong with me? Get a grip on yourself! Concentrate, Alastor! You almost have him.'

"If, and that's a big 'if' there, Mister. If I agreed to… to any of this… to what you're asking. Well, it's actually a lot more complicated than you probably think it is." Lucifer said softly, staring daggers into the deer demon's red eyes.

"A quick, simple handshake is hardly complicated, Sire." Alastor scoffed, trying to ignore the fiery, almost heavenly warmth of Lucifer's hands still on his wrists.

"Yeah, um, no. See, you're not asking to make any old deal, with any old sinner." The king said blandly, slowly pulling Alastor down to his level by dragging him closer by his captured arms.

Alastor quickly realized what the king was doing but found he was unable, or maybe, unwilling to stop it. Whether from curiosity or something else completely, he was still unsure.

"You're saying you want to make a deal with the devil, to willingly place yourself in my service." Lucifer continued, voice dropping to a low purr as he continued to pull the Radio Demon down till his knees finally hit the floor. "And there's nothing simple about that."

Alastor found it hard to swallow again, as he suddenly realized he was now looking up at the diminutive monarch from the floor. "What would I need to do, exactly?"

Lucifer's lips curved in an impressed smile. Obviously surprised that Alastor hadn't run for the hills. "Well, first we would need to mark each other. If I ever need you, I need to know where you are, and you need to know where I am so you can help me."

"How do we do that?"Alastor asked, curious, but cautious at the same time.

Lucifer released one of the Radio Demon's wrists to slowly drag a finger along the side of Alastor's neck briefly. An intrigued grin painting his lips as Alastor shivered with confusion and continued curiously, instead of the revulsion the king expected to see in his eyes. "We bite each other and take a bit of the other's blood."

Alastor gasped, his cannibalistic nature perking up at the prospect of tasting the king's golden blood.

"Then..." The king started again, snapping Alastor back to attention. "I use my magic to brand my mark into your skin. This will ensure that everyone in all 7 rings of Hell, as well as Heaven knows that you belong to me."

The sinner felt his blood heat strangely at the possessiveness of that statement from the king's lips. Though he wasn't sure if he could endure being under someone's thumb again, even for the power and fun he sought after.

"And lastly, instead of just a handshake, you must also kneel before me and pledge yourself to me for all eternity." Lucifer said, finally releasing the demon's other wrist and backing up so Alastor had space to think over his words.

The king watched closely, as Alastor's brows folded in disbelief, before his eyes went wide and he turned his burning red eyes to the king.

"Eternity!?" Alastor actually squeaked. “Now, wait a minute.”

"Well, yeah. Did you think something like this would be a temporary thing? Does it look like I run a temp agency to you?" Lucifer chuckled at making the Radio Demon lose his composure for a moment. "I told you it was complicated."

Alastor licked his dry lips. 'Oh merde! I didn't think gaining power from him would be this hard. Or this… I didn't expect this… but I can't turn back now. I refuse to turn back now. I will not show this so-called ‘king’ any weakness.'

"Well, what's your decision, Bambi?" Lucifer asked, getting a small glare from the sinner for the nickname.

'I've come too far now to leave empty handed.' The Radio Demon conceded. 'But, oh mon Dieu, what am I getting into.'

"I'm still waiting, Bambi." Lucifer teased, almost finding that he couldn't resist. The sour look on the other man's face at the name was just too priceless.

Alastor looked down at the wine red carpet under his knees, realizing with horror that if he went through with it, this would be a position he'd have to get used to.

But the promise of the power he could potentially get out of this, and the people he could fuck with, the fun he could have, was too good to pass up. But first…

"A question for you, Sire?" Alastor asked, thick static wrapping around his voice.

"Hm?" Lucifer hummed, curious.

"If there comes an enemy you wish me to dispose of, and we find I am not quite… powerful enough..." Alastor nearly bit his tongue at those words. "Could I count on you to give me a boost in power?"

The king stared wide-eyed at the sinner for a moment, then closed his eyes and tapped a finger to his temple in thought.

It was true that he could probably do that, and if they did come up against something that was more than even the powerful overlord could handle, well, he might end up with no choice.

But to just give him that much power without any restraint felt like a foolish move, for so many reasons.

"Wait!" Lucifer yelled as an actual lightbulb appeared over his head. "That's a great idea, I just got!"

"Huh? Pardon?" Alastor asked in bewilderment, his voice losing the filter for a moment in his shock.

"There's a way that we could do something like that, but..." Lucifer said thoughtfully, as he looked at his hands.

"But what?" The Radio Demon asked tentatively.

"There would be some restrictions." The king said quietly, now pointing at the other man.

Alastor felt one of his ears twitch in irritation. 'Of course! Why did I think it would be that easy?'

The sinner looked back at the king and felt a light blush creep to his dark cheeks, as he noticed Lucifer's eyes following the slow erratic sway of his ear.

Without really thinking about how it would look, Alastor placed a hand over the offending appendage.

Lucifer blinked at the action before letting out a soft chuckle. "Don't be so nervous, my deer. Ha. We're just negotiating a deal, remember? I thought you were good at that?"

The demon knew his blush had gotten darker, but instead of acknowledging it, Alastor smoothed back his hair, ears included, and tried to quickly move on.

"So, about these restrictions, you were talking about?" He said, trying to sound above any petty fight Lucifer might be trying to start.

Lucifer felt a giddy smile paint his lips at the adorable way Alastor was trying to change the subject, but that same ear was still twitching slowly, and it was taking all the will power the fallen angel had not to reach out and see if the fur covering it was as soft as it looked.

"Sire? I'm waiting." Came the soothing voice of the sinner, snapping the king out of his odd daydream of running his fingers through a red and black sea of softness.

"What? Oh, yes, sorry." Lucifer said, stumbling over his words.

Alastor raised an eyebrow, but didn't comment.

"I can give you a bit of my power to keep as reserve in the deal, but I would have to keep it sealed and only unlock it when you're in dire need of it." Lucifer said, seriously.

Alastor's ears perked up at this. "Why in hell's name would you give me that sort of power and then seal it?"

Lucifer stared at the demon like he was crazy, but when he realized Alastor's question was genuine, he started to get annoyed. "Of course I would seal it! Are you fucking stupid!?"

"No!" Alastor yelled back, still not understanding what the problem was.

"You might actually be the strongest sinner in hell that I've ever seen. Definitely the ballsy-est, but you are still a mortal soul. And a mortal soul could never handle that much angelic power and not go mad or vaporize within a few minutes." Lucifer growled. "In fact, with your strength, if left unchecked for too long... you'd probably only have an 1 hour, 2 at most, before you went insane or died."

"Are you insulting me?!" Alastor roared, his antlers extending in his rage, as he started to reach for the king's throat in anger. "You dare to call me weak!?"

The rage quickly fizzled out of the Radio Demon's body, as Lucifer gently grabbed his wrists again. "No! Like I said, you're the strongest sinner in hell that I've ever seen, any one else would only last mere minutes with this kind of power. But not you, you can handle much more."

The almost impressed purr in Lucifer's words caused a different kind of heat to rise in Alastor's veins this time. "Oh, r-right..."

The unexpectedly sheepish look on the Radio Demon's face from the king's praise, made the fallen angel shiver pleasantly in a way he wasn't sure he ever had before as he unconsciously started to rub the thumb of his right hand up and down the inside of Alastor wrist softly.

Alastor's whole body zinged with musical feedback, notes of a vague sweet song he'd heard before but never quite understood the lyrics to, filling the air around him from his forgotten microphone, at Lucifer delicate touch.

"So, Radio Demon, do you still want to go through with this crazy deal of yours?" Lucifer whispered, staring unblinking into Alastor's red eyes.

'He truly thinks I'm... oh... oh my...' Alastor didn't know how to process this new information, his brain feeling like a radio that's wires were about to fry.

Lucifer suddenly leaned in too close, and Alastor let out a buzzing shriek of surprise.

"Well?" The king asked again.

Alastor looked down and saw that the king was now holding a hand out between them, not forcefully, not shyly, just patiently. Waiting to see what the Radio Demon would choose.

The sinner's tongue poked out, licking his lips in thought, and trying desperately to avoid the feeling of the fallen angel's burning eyes following the motion.

Slowly Alastor raised his glowing red eyes, finally meeting Lucifer's, which were now literally burning with actual flames, and the smile gracing his pale lips, made the demon feel like the Devil was pouring hot wax down his spine.

Lucifer flexed his fingers in an inviting yet impatient way. "Alastor..." the Devil called in a smooth haunting voice.

Alastor stiffened in surprise at the king actually using his name, wondering now if all of this had been a mistake. But he was too far in now to escape, as the fallen angel moved in closer, letting their foreheads touch just barely. The smell of sulfur and brimstone filling all of the sinner's senses.

"Are we doing this, or not? Or are you suddenly having second-thoughts?" Lucifer purred, finally mustering up the guts to let his free hand drift to the top of Alastor's head, slowly moving his fingers to weave into the red and black locks and worrying that he had finally gone too far.

The Devil nearly squealed with happiness as he realized the hair on the sinner's head was just as soft as it looked. And, wondering why the Radio Demon didn't stop him.

Alastor jumped at the feel of Lucifer's fingers suddenly in his hair. The sensation was a long forgotten one, and yet also fresh in his mind as an image of Vox doing something similar invaded his mind, except that foolish TV had grabbed his hair roughly and yanked his ears violently.

Then, another vision, where Rosie jerkingly rubbing her hands through the strains like a toddler playing with her pet for the first time.

And all of it wholly unpleasant!

But Lucifer's touch was different, gentle, almost caring, it was... nice.

The Radio Demon felt his eyes sliding shut against his will, as the Devil started lightly scratching his scalp and curling his fingers around the strains.

Was this a taste of what this deal would bring? Being with Lucifer for all eternity.

Lucifer smiled at the content look on the Radio Demon's face, his smile the most relaxed and genuine the fallen angel had ever seen on Alastor's angular face since the day they met.

A soft rumbling purr escaped the deer demon's chest and then everything stopped, as Alastor's eyes popped open in shock and he backed away quickly out of the king's reach.

He watched with wide eyes, as Lucifer stood frozen, his hand still outstretched and twitching as if he would follow, but instead he let his arm fall to his side.

A small, warm, awkward chuckle left the king's lips. "Right, sorry. Too much?”

Alastor didn't answer, so the king took that as a sign to move on quickly. “Well, then."

Alastor saw the smaller hand of the king hang in the air once more, waiting for his own to shake.

With the wonderful tingle of the angel's fingers still in his hair, Alastor straightened and without any more thought, shot his hand forward to finally clasp the king's in a strong grip.

"I believe we have a deal, your majesty." Alastor said, bracing himself for the surge of power that always came to herald the sealing of a demon deal.

But it didn't happen.

Instead, a ring of what must have been holy fire circled the two, then rose up into a blazing column that almost reached the high ceiling, wrapping them in an inferno of heat that Alastor was sure would burn them to ash.

But the Radio Demon couldn't look away from the fallen angel's blazing eyes, feeling like a moth drawn to a flame.

He then cried out in shock, as the blood in his veins suddenly felt like liquid lava, but just as quickly the heat was gone, soothed by a cool wave of shining light that made his veins glow.

"What is happening?" Alastor whispered, the awe in his voice making it hard for him to speak any louder.

A blackened finger appeared in his vision, slowly tracing the lines of the sinner's shimmering veins.

"I'm the Devil, and technically still an angel. Like I said, you didn't really think a deal with me would work like any old demon deal, did you?" Lucifer asked with a soft chuckle.

"I..." Alastor stuttered, watching the glow under his skin fade, fascinated.

"Well, that's step 1 out of the way. Let's get the rest of the formalities over with, shall we?" Lucifer said with a bright smile on his face, looking genuinely excited now.

"Um?" Alastor said, confused and thrown off balance, as the last embers of heat cooled in his body.

"It doesn't really matter what order we do all this in, but it still must be done." Lucifer said as he looked around distractedly.

"R-right, well then, I guess it's best to get the most embarrassing one out of the way." Alastor said, finally getting himself back under control.

"Which one is th..." Lucifer started, as he turned back to the sinner, only to feel the question die on his tongue as he saw the red-haired man kneeling on one leg before him with his head bowed.

“What are you doing?” Lucifer asked flatly.

"I'm not sure how you would like me to do this? I've never pledged myself to someone's service in any way like this before." Came Alastor's muffled voice as he stared at the floor.

Lucifer stood there quietly. In fact, too quietly. What was the tiny king even doing?

Alastor slowly dared to raise his head enough to look at Lucifer through his hair. The diminutive monarch was looking down at him with a smug smirk and a raised eyebrow.

“What?” Alastor asked, annoyed.

“I didn't see you kneel.” Lucifer said, smirk turning into a sharp-toothed grin.

“WHAT!?” Alastor roared, static crackling loudly as his head shot back up.

“Oh, you heard me, Bambi. Get back up and do ‘it’ again.” Lucifer said, obviously loving every minute of this. “I want to watch you kneeling at my feet.”

A deer-like shriek of indignity came from the Radio Demon's chest, as the murderous glare he gave the king failed to kill the tiny man where he stood.

“Now you’re just fucking with me.” Alastor growled, still having not gotten back up.

“Want to test your luck on that, Sinner?” Lucifer asked, voice full of tempting mockery.

The Radio Demon huffed an indignant puff of air, his glare sharp enough to cut steel, as he rose to his feet.

Lucifer's smile didn't change, as he tilted his head in a brazen look of superiority. “Anytime now, Al. You're wasting time.”

“Fuck you! You're enjoying this way too much.” Alastor grumbled, as he once again moved to kneel on the floor in front of Lucifer.

“Just a little, yeah.” Lucifer said honestly, watching the sinner bow his head again.

Lucifer felt his body shiver at the sight of the powerful Radio Demon on the floor kneeling at his feet. His wings suddenly burst from his back in amazement, red and white feathers showering the room.

A feather landed on Alastor's head, right between his antlers. The angel almost cooed from the unexpectedly adorable picture the sinner made.

Alastor groaned with impatience. "Your majesty. Please don't make me wait in this humiliating position any longer than necessary."

The king silently stepped closer till the tips of his shiny black boots appeared before the sinner's lowered sight.

Alastor found himself having trouble swallowing again at the thought of what he was about to say, but knew it had to be done to get who he wanted.

'No! Stupid, stupid! What am I even thinking!? It's not 'who' I want!' Alastor screamed at himself in his head. 'It's 'what' I want, and that's power.'

"Alastor: the Radio Demon. Do you swear to me your loyalty and service from this moment to the end of Eternity?" Lucifer asked, his voice taking on a strange echoing sound to it that made Alastor's sensitive ears perked up with interest.

"I swear to you, my king." Alastor answered, surprising himself with how honest he sounded.

"Do you swear to protect me and all those I wish to protect?" The king asked solemnly.

“Yes, this I swear." Alastor answered back, the sinner assuming that the king was referring to Charlie and all those who came to the hotel. An act he had already been doing before this anyway.

"Do you swear to enact any and all justice to those I deem deserving of it? Even if that means bringing an end to their lives?" Lucifer asked, voice becoming more serious and deep as he continued.

Unseen by the king, Alastor's smile grew sinister and his eyes turned black with red dials for a moment. 'This is it! Now we're getting somewhere.'

"I swear to follow your comment and sense of justice, my king." The Radio Demon growled joyfully.

"Do you swear to use the power I give you for the betterment and safety of those under my rule?" Lucifer asked, voice now booming.

The smile nearly disappeared from Alastor's face completely. 'What!? What nonsense is this? He can't seriously expect me too…’

"Well?" Lucifer asked, voice now making it feel like the air was being sucked out of the room.

'Damn, I have to agree till I can find a way around it.' Alastor huffed, annoyed. "This I swear to you, my king.

"THEN, BY THE POWER GIVEN TO ME BY MY FATHER. I NOW DUB YOU ALASTOR: THE RADIO DEMON, EXECUTIONER OF THE KING OF HELL." Lucifer announced, his words causing the whole hotel and possibly all of hell to shake violently for a moment. Rocking the very foundations of the way hell had always been run.

In the other 6 rings of hell, the deadly sins raised their heads from what they were doing, as their eyes flashed with fire and the knowledge that Lucifer had changed something in hell. And after centuries of nothing, this shocked and surprised them.

Back in the Pride Ring, all the overlords froze, their eyes flashing with golden light.

Something has changed, but whether they could use it to their advantage was still unknown.

At the Hazbin Hotel, the princess of hell suddenly stood from her seat at the bar with her friends, who watched as her yellow and red eyes flashed with golden fire before she gasped and placed a hand to her head.

"Charlie? Babe, are you okay?" Vaggi asked, scared and worried for her girlfriend.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm okay." She soothed, then turned and looked up the grand staircase. "But something's changed."

"Like what?" Cherri asked, suspicious.

"Her dad just changed the rules of hell, somehow." Husk whispered calmly.

The others, minus Charlie and Nifty, all turned to look at him. "How do you know?" Vaggi asked.

"I was an overlord, remember? A power shift like that is easy to sense. Right Niff?" The cat demon asked the small woman.

"Yeap! Haha! This could be fun!" Nifty cheered, while the others all looked at each other nervously.

Inside the king's room, the Radio Demon stood back up from his kneeling position before freezing as he noticed his new appearance.

His normal pinstripe red suit was now traded out for a crisp wine red shirt, a pressed crushed red velvet jacket, and a pair of tailor made black pants.

His shoes and bowtie were exactly the same, but now the shoes were polished and shiny, and his bow tie was perfectly straight.

Calling forth his microphone showed that it too had been buffed to a ridiculously bright shine.

Happily surprised, the demon looked up at the king with a jubilant smile till he finally met Lucifer's eyes, then his jaw nearly hit the floor.

The king was standing before his new executioner in his full true demonic form.

Eyes. Too many eyes were sliding over Alastor's new look. It felt like he was somehow being seen from every angle, even his insides felt like they were being scrutinized.

Wings. The sinner always thought that Lucifer only had 6 wings, but somehow, looking at him seemed to reveal more and more feathery appendages.

Light. Lucifer was known as the "light-bringer", and right now he was living up to his name. Blindingly so.

And yet, Alastor felt safe and somehow right where he belonged, standing next to this beautiful eternal being.

"Huh. I guess it worked." Came Lucifer's voice from somewhere between the two biggest eyes.

"What worked? And why has my attire changed?" Alastor asked, radio static filled the air around them in his confusion.

"Oh, well. As nice as you looked in your old suit. I figured a new job deserved a new look, right?" Said the king, as he rose into the air and slowly circled around the other man.

"Hm?" Alastor hummed studying his appearance in a mirror that wasn't there a minute ago. "Well, if you have nothing else your majesty, you do have style."

Lucifer stared blankly at the demon for a moment, his many eyes blinking in surprise, then he started to laugh manically. "Haha! Thanks, Alastor. Good to know I'm good at something."

The happy look in the king's many eyes caused that same fluttery feeling in the Radio Demon's stomach to return. 'Damn! What is wrong with me? It can't be the deal we just made. This has been happening for months.'

"There's also the fact that, when a mortal normally sees my true form, they usually can't handle it and pass out or go insane. But the deal seems to make you immune, so yeah!" Lucifer laughed.

Alastor wasn't sure how to feel about that.

"Okay!" Lucifer said, finally calming down and clapping his hands together, seemingly trying to psych himself up. "Time to finish the rest of this."

"Huh?" Alastor said, confused.

"I still need to give you my mark. Not to mention the parts about giving you some of my power and making it so we can find each other when necessary." The king explained.

"Oh, right. Of course." Alastor said, expectantly. "Which should we do first?"

"Hm?" Lucifer hummed thoughtfully, closing his many eyes and folding his arms over his chest. "Probably the mark first if I'm honest."

"Why?" Alastor questioned.

"Because to connect us together and also give you power will require you to drink my blood and I have to drink some of yours. And drinking angel blood could have weird effects on mortals, living or dead." The king explained. "And what we're doing... it's... it's never been tried before. So, who knows what will happen."

Alastor paled slightly at this.

Lucifer saw the sinner's carefully hidden look of worry. "Don't worry! I'm sure the worst that will happen is that you might get overwhelmed by it and pass out for a little while. Not too bad, right?"

Alastor could feel his eyebrows curving in with a frown. "That didn't come out as reassuring as you probably hoped it would, Sire. But, fuck it! Where do you need to put this mark?"

"Hm?" Lucifer hummed again in thought as he let himself melt back into his normal form.

Alastor almost told him to stop, to stay in that form, but then realized what an odd request that was and stayed silent.

"The way you dress, even with my modifications, does cover up a lot of skin." The king commented before looking up at the Radio Demon and seeing his raised eyebrow.

"Oh, shit! I wasn't trying to start a fight or come on to you, or anything like that. It's just an observation." Lucifer quickly said, holding up his hands to try and pacify the sinner.

A soft buzzing of static was the only acknowledging Alastor gave that he was annoyed.

"Your hand!" Lucifer yelled in a eureka moment, hoping to calm the demon. "I can put the mark on your hand, and if for some reason you do need to cover it, I can make you a pair of gloves to match the outfit! Genius, right?"

The Radio Demon looked down at his hands. "I suppose it's the best idea. Does it matter which hand?"

"Nope. Just pick a hand." The king said, smiling wide.

The sinner continued to stare at his hands for a moment before holding out his left hand.

Slowly, the King reached out, stoppinf for only a moment before gently taking the offered hand in his own. "So, again, it doesn't matter. But why the left one, if you don't mind me asking?"

Alastor looked away from their joined hands, the light heat of a small blush staining his dark cheeks. "It's dumb, but I am primarily left handed, you see. And I figured something this important deserved my dominant hand."

Lucifer didn't answer, just gave a small nod, as he looked down at the demon's hand now held lightly on his own.

The skin on Alastor's hand was almost as black as his own, which made the red of his knuckles and claws stand out all the more. He then turned the hand over and studied the lines on the demon's palm.

The fact that a demon in hell could still have lifelines even though they were dead simply baffled the fallen angel. But maybe they weren't called lifelines any more. Maybe afterlife lines? Deathlines?

Lucifer absently started to trace the longest one he could see. Slowly, almost lovingly moving his finger from the top of the sinner's hand down to the top of his wrist.

Alastor felt pleasant, shiver-inducing goosebumps travel up his arm from the king's careful touch. He tried to hold it back, but as a slow dreamy smile started to morph onto his face, he knew it was a lost cause.

"Sire..." Alastor said breathlessly, desperately trying to get himself back under control.

"Yeah?" The king whispered, completely lost in the subtle dance his fingers were performing on the Radio Demon's palm.

"Sire... sh-shouldn't we start?" Alastor stuttered out, heart pounding erratically again.

"Huh?" Lucifer asked, finally looking up at the sinner in a daze of his own. "Oh, yeah, let me just..."

But Lucifer found his words halted at the actually flustered look on Alastor's face. ‘Wow…’

Slowly turning Alastor's hand back over, the Devil ripped his glanced back to the unblemished skin before leaning forward and spontaneously pressing his lips softly to the sinner's hand.

That pleasant warmth turned to devilish tingles on the skin of his hand where Lucifer placed his lips, while grew more intense as the feeling of the king's tongue replaced the pillowy lips.

Alastor's eyes grew wide, his eyebrows reaching almost to his hairline in shock, as that long forked appendage traced a pattern along his quickly overheating flesh.

The tongue started to glow as the king's magic seemingly started to flow through the appendage into his saliva as, like a talented painter using the most flexible brush ever made, Lucifer mapped out the mark that would brand the Radio Demon as his forever.

An odd mix of static and almost deer-like bleats left the sinner's throat without his consent, the gentle slick feeling, and the obvious care the king was putting into this caused strange feelings to form in the demon's heart. The organ Alastor long thought dead, nearly beating out of his chest.

Lucifer took his time, finding himself desperately needing to get this right. But the sounds the Radio Demon was making, and the way his hand was trembling, made the fallen angel curious.

Glancing up at the demon, Lucifer felt a rush of heat zip through his own body, as he observed the flustered mess Alastor was becoming, though the demon was trying desperately to hide it.

The Radio Demon's dark face was lightly flushed pink, his eyes had gone half lidded and the back of his free hand was against his mouth, trying to hide the fact that his sharp top teeth were biting into his bottom lip, a trickle of red shiny blood moving down his chin.

'What? Is he...?' Lucifer, as discreetly as he could, lowered his eyes to Alastor's pants, only to discover there was no bulge. 'Okay? Then, why is he...?'

"L-Lucifer?" The warbling buzzing voice of the sinner said, snapping the Devil's eyes back up to the demon's own. "Why... Why did you stop? Is it finished?"

Lucifer blinked at the question, then realized that he had, in fact, stopped moving his tongue which was still out but now frozen over the other man's trembling hand.

The king looked closer at the demon's hand. The royal crest of an apple with a bite taken out of it and a snake coiled around it, with 6 giant wings encircling them both was now permanently burned into Alastor's dark skin. The tattoo simmered like gold and seemed to glow when looking at it at the correct angle.

The king noticed that the sinner's hand was still wet, his saliva cooling on Alastor's hand.

A fact that the Radio Demon seemed to notice as well, when he tried to take his hand back, obviously to clean it. But, Lucifer suddenly didn't want to let go.

Something was happening, the more steps they took to seal this deal correctly, the more something started to change or awaken inside them. He could feel it, and he somehow knew instinctively that Alastor knew it too.

'I don't know if I can go through with this.' Alastor thought worryingly. ‘This is way more than I expected, and... and something... something is wrong with me.'

'Or right...' Whispered a voice in the demon's head that sounded suspiciously like a combination of his and Lucifer's voices melded perfectly together. Like they had always spoken as one.

Alastor gasped, horrified, as erratic lines of radio waves flowed through his pupils, as that voice matched with the exact moment Lucifer took out his white handkerchief and gently wiped his spit from Alastor's hand.

"Whoa! You good, Bambi?" Lucifer asked, sounding genuinely concerned. "We can stop for a moment, you know, if you need to..."

"No!" Alastor yelled before realizing what he had done and took a deep breath to reel himself back in. "I mean, no, don't be ridiculous. I'm perfectly fine."

Lucifer smiled sweetly, then looked back down at the demon's hand still held in his, admiring the mark. His mark! A mark that showed all of creation that Alastor was here by choice, that he wanted to be by the king's side.

Lucifer's whole body felt lighter than it ever had before at the thought.

Alastor slowly pulled his hand back and held it up in front of his face to get a good look at the mark.

It was beautiful, golden and glimmering in the low light of the room.

"Only one last thing to do, and it will take care of two things at once." Lucifer announced, briskly brushing past the demon towards another room near the back.

As he passed, the demon lowered his arm, only for the back of Alastor's tattooed hand to touch the back of Lucifer's and an odd not unpleasant electric shock raced through them both, causing them to turn to each other in surprise, eyes locking and hearts pounding.

"Whoa!" Lucifer yelled breathlessly. "Did you feel that, Bambi?"

Alastor grimaced at the continued use of that nickname, but just as breathlessly replied. "Yes. What was that?"

"I think that's… that's another sign that this is working." Lucifer said, as a giddy smile lifted his lips, in a way that Alastor didn't understand. "Come on. For the last part, I think we need a different location."

Raising a curious eyebrow, the Radio Demon cautiously followed the king into the back room, only to stop and stare at the finely carved four poster bed covered in blood red curtains and dark red almost black covers and sheets. So very different from the silly duck themed bed he noticed in the main room.

Alastor turned to look at the king with a wary look in his eyes. Even take an unwanted step back at why they were here.

Lucifer didn't look back at him, instead continued to look at the bed almost sadly.

"This was the bed me and Lilith used when we first came to hell. Seems silly to keep it, I know, but it was the first bed we slept in when we first fell. When we were still happy even in our punishment." Lucifer whispered, as if worried he might destroy something precious.

"Why did you bring me in here?" Alastor asked, annoyed, but surprised with himself that he couldn't seem to make himself speak any louder than Lucifer at this moment.

"Oh. I told you before, didn't I? The last part we need to do will probably knock you out. And I seriously doubt that you want to pass out on a bed shaped like a duck." Lucifer chuckles softly, turning to relish the sour stranded smile on the demon's face.

"So, I figured we would use this room. Besides, it has a door so no one will see you past out in here if they visit. Especially if Charlie might come by to see me." The king explained. "What do you say? Sounds like a plan you can get behind, right Bambi?"

"Will you 'please' stop calling me that demeaning name!" Alastor growled, but Lucifer only answered him with a sweet sharp toothed smile, as he stuck out his tongue childishly.

The demon sighed in defeat, remembering that it was too late to stop now. "Yes, the room is acceptable. Can we just please get on with this?" Alastor asked, growing tired of Lucifer's obviously forced stupidity.

The smile slowly melted off of the king's face, and Alastor felt a matching melancholy quickly growing in his gut as he watched.

"Right. Come here." The king said gently, moving to sit on the bed, while holding his hand out for Alastor to take.

The sinner looked at the bed, then at the king's patient expression, then to the welcoming outstretched hand.

Swallowing the frankly absurd amount of flutters in his gut, Alastor reached out a hand, noticing at the last minute that it was the one with Lucifer's mark, and placed it in the king's own hand.

Lucifer smiled coyly at the demon before yanking Alastor's arm hard, pulling him towards the bed till he came to a stop right between the king's open legs.

"Let's just get comfortable, shall we?" The king whispered, his voice growling in the sinner's sensitive ears, making them twitch.

"Must you really act like this? I thought you were Lucifer, not Angel Dust." The Radio Demon grumbled, the closest he could come to a frown on his lips.

"Um. You do know who you're talking to, right Al?" The king mocked. "I am literally the original source of seduction and desire."

Alastor felt his heart give a painful beat as the fallen angel took the hand he was still holding and turned it while bringing the other man's palm to his lips.

"Stop..." Alastor whispered, as Lucifer gently kissed the center of his hand.

Lucifer looked back up at the demon, there was definitely no way Alastor wasn't affected by the Devil's charms, but it wasn't in the way the king had expected.

Sighing in defeat, and realizing he may have gone too far again, Lucifer brought Alastor's hand closer till his forehead was resting in the sinner's palm.

"Ah! I'm sorry. It's just that... what's about to happen is gonna get kind of... well... intense. And I just thought I could lighten the mood, make it fun." Lucifer looked back up at the Radio Demon, noting how his red eyes seemed to be glowing brighter in a way he'd never seen before. Softer somehow, less menacing.

Alastor leaned in closer, while still avoiding touching the small monarch. "Sire, did you forget? I'm a cannibal, one who's about to get a chance to taste angel blood again. And the Devil's blood at that. True me when I say, nothing could bring me more pleasure right now."

Lucifer shivered with a delight he didn't understand, at the sinner's oddly seductive words. "R-right. Good, right."

Alastor chuckled softly at making the Devil nervous, this time. "So, where shall I bite?"

Lucifer covered his mouth quickly as a low groan left his lips, at the imagined image of what was about to happen. "Shit. Um..."

The Radio Demon raised an eyebrow at the king's actions. "Sire?"

"Um...y-you need to take my blood first." Lucifer stutters, as he slowly tilts his head to the right, exposing the left side of his neck.

Alastor's eyes turn black with red dials, practically salivating, as his antlers elongated with anticipation, remembering from the last extermination battle what the angel exorcist's blood had tasted like.

It was like a fine wine he couldn't get enough of, but this, Lucifer's blood... this he was sure would melt like the sweetest ambrosia on his tongue.

The sinner moved closer, opening his mouth wide so all of his razor sharp teeth were exposed.

But Lucifer suddenly placed a restraining hand on the demon's chest, causing him to freeze.

"Just remember, I have no idea what's going to happen when you do this." The king said solemnly, whispering in the man's fluffy ear, causing it to twitch, as the Radio Demon watched the king's throat bob up and down, swallowing nervously. "Once we start this, we can't stop till it's done, no matter how overwhelming it gets."

"I understand, my king." Alastor growled, his hot, panting breaths creating goosebumps on Lucifer's pale skin, while barely holding himself together in his excitement.

Lucifer took in a deep breath of his own, smelling an odd mix of the woods at midnight, water after the rain and a delightful mix of cajun spices swirling around the demon.

'Weird. For a cannibal, he smells really good. Normally they smell like rotting meat.' The king thought, surprised.

This time when Alastor moved closer to the king, Lucifer didn't stop him, but he did let his hand linger on the other man's chest, feeling the need to ground himself, and intrigued by the rapid heartbeat under his palm.

Alastor was inches away but stopped to admire the snowy white expense of skin he was about to savor. Without conscious thought, the demon stuck out his tongue and licked a wet stripe up the fallen angel's neck, causing another flurry of goosebumps to form on the smooth surface.

"Shit! Stop that, and just get on with it." Lucifer grumbled, placing a hand to the back of Alastor's head and trying to pull him into the crook of his neck.

Alastor chuckled. "Sire, such a meal should never be rushed. It should be savored to the fullest. Do you know nothing of etiquette, sire?"

The king groaned. "Oh fuck! Is this the way you're always going to be? Oh my dad, give me strength!"

Alastor huffed a warm puff of air against the king's neck again, indignantly. "A deal's a deal, your majesty. And, you might as well get used to my attitude, sire, because now we're stuck with each other."

Without any more hesitation, the Radio Demon surged forward and clamped his jaws around the king's shoulder, letting his teeth finally pierce the snowy skin as the sound of a painfully pleasant moan came from the eternal being now fully wrapped in his arms.

If Alastor had thought that his veins had been filled with fire when they had shook hands before, then they were now sizzling with actual starlight now.

The taste of the king's golden blood was something beyond amazing, beyond anything he could have imagined, it was divine, and the brightness of it seemed to be filling up the dark places inside the sinner in a way not even the sun could.

The hand Lucifer had on the demon's head moved through the red and black strains in an encouraging manner, almost petting him, the way an owner would a valued pet.

"It's okay, sweetheart. Take what you need." Lucifer whispered, not understanding why he was saying it, only knowing he couldn't let Alastor stop... not yet.

The sinner knew the king was speaking to him, but all he could hear was a constant ringing in his ears. Almost like church bells. But, it didn't seem to matter, as the voice soon turned into soft coos of encouragement.

It was weird. Having his blood taken should be making the king tired, and it should hurt, like it did inside that scary box, but instead he somehow felt stronger.

Curious, the King slowly let the hand that wasn't currently tangled in soft red and black silk, slide down one of Alastor's arms, his right one this time.

While Alastor continued to slowly take slips of Lucifer's blood into his body, the king pulled the demon's arm up to look at it more closely.

The cuffs of Alastor's new coat and sleeve slide down his arm just enough for the king to see the skin of his wrist clearly, and was surprised to see not only the sinner's veins but also his dark skin glowing with a faint golden light. The glow was hypnotically pulsing with Alastor's heartbeat, and for some reason seemed to call out to the fallen angel to taste it.

Lucifer had never tasted another's blood like this before, but something about this time had never felt more right.

Mind going blank, whether from the fuzzy feeling of Alastor taking his blood or just the rush of what they were doing, whatever the case, Lucifer's head was feeling pleasantly empty as he pulled the Radio Demon's wrist closer to his lips.

Sticking out his tongue, Lucifer slowly licked a stripe up the sinner's wrist.

Alastor froze, a static buzz of shock filling the air, causing him to bite down a bit too hard on the king's shoulder.

"Owww! Damn it, Bambi! Are you drinking my blood or trying to eat me?" Lucifer yelled, eyes turning red, squeezing Alastor's wrist tighter in warning. “Ease up, angel flesh isn't on the menu.”

Alastor gave a feral growl, sucking out more blood, while wrapping his arms more possessively around the king's waist. Refusing to let his new prize go.

Lucifer huffed, took a deep breath, then turned his attention back to the arm he was holding, but now with a clearer mind.

'What is happening? It's like… it's like we can't get enough of each other, like we're really becoming one.' Lucifer glupped nervously. 'Is that a good thing? Do I really want that? Does he want that? Will he leave me too? Just like Lilith? Just like everyone else. Will he…’

Alastor's vision was nothing but blinding beautiful golden light. The buzzing in his head now, was different from the usual radio static he was used to.

More like a voice just out of sync, whispering, echoing with a sound he didn't think he could ignore even if he wanted too.

But it also sounded sad, lost, miserable.

Alone.

Like he was. Like he's always been.

Like he hated.

The Radio Demon listened closer, trying to hear the words, trying to understand their meaning.

'Don't...don't leave...' It cried, softly. 'Don't leave me all alone...'

'Lucifer...' Alastor whispered into the empty void in his mind.

The fallen angel jumped slightly as the sinner, still latched on to his neck, leaned forward and with an odd whimper, pushed the two of them down to the bed.

"Wha...?" Lucifer asked, confused, as Alastor slowly curled around the angel's smaller body, as if shielding the Devil from what was hurting him.

"Alastor?" Lucifer asked tentatively, but instead of answering, the Radio Demon pulled him closer.

A soft smile graced the Devil's lips, the hand holding Alastor's wrist gently in its grip as his thumb started rubbing slowly over the demon's glowing pulse. "Well, shit... this is unexpected."

Another warm pulse from the demon's veins flashed in the corner of Lucifer's sight. His now half-lidded yellow and red eyes turned to watch his thumb trace the lines of the Radio Demon's blood. "Are you waiting for me, huh my deer?"

Alastor didn't answer, but the glow under his skin got brighter.

"Well, I better make good on my end then, right?" Lucifer chuckled, gently caressing the demon's hair affectionately.

Bringing the Radio Demon's wrist back to his lips, Lucifer used the thumb he was keeping on Alastor's glowing pulse to make a deep cut with his claw.

The king stared, fascinated, as the blood that seeped from the wound he had inflicted was now a swirling mix of red and gold. "Now, how did that happen?"

Alastor didn't answer, but the slips he was taking of Lucifer's blood had gotten slower, almost like he was just letting the blood drip into his mouth rather than pulling it out himself.

"Aw, shit. Fuck it. We'll worry about the small details later, right Bambi?" Lucifer whispered, seemingly unable to help nuzzling into the deer demon's fluffy hair.

A sleepy, pleased moan was the only answer he got.

Shaking his head at the unexpected cuteness, Lucifer slowly brought the demon's wrist closer and finally took a small taste.

The ensuing bolt of electric pleasure was surprising. "Holy fuck!"

Alastor pulled the king closer with a whine of encouraging feedback. As if asking to keep going.

Fireworks were going off in the king's head, as Lucifer quickly wrapped his lips over the other man's wrist, taking in as much of the bloody mixture as he could.

Lucifer's magic started sparking around them the more he drank, lured out by a combination of the deal they made and the fledgling bond unknowingly growing between them.

The power wrapping around them caused the foundations of Heaven and Hell to shake again, but this time it wasn't felt by the normal citizens of either realm. But it was noticed by the highest powers of Heaven and within the darkest bowels of Hell, where a once sleeping evil now awoke.

Alastor suddenly felt a surge of strength he had never experienced before wrap snugly around the shadowy core of his power.

It was bright, like holding the energy of the sun, but there were ripples of a different kind of darkness cutting through. And yet, it was still a stark contrast to his own black magic.

And that voice, that same deep resonating voice was still calling for him but now it seemed closer, more irresistible.

Did all demon blood taste this amazing, Lucifer had to wonder, or was it just this demon, his demon. And the mixing of their blood.

Whatever it was, the king was afraid he wouldn't be able to stop.

But then it happened, a crackle of energy was pulled from his body and fully absorbed into the Radio Demon. Fulfilling more of their deal.

Alastor unexpectedly ripped his golden blood stained lips from Lucifer's throat and rolled to the floor, hysterical laughter echoing from his throat.

The angel sat up as quickly as he could, at the sudden move, observing the manic look on the red clad demon's face. His smile, wider than he'd ever seen it. Whether from joy or pain, it was hard to say, but it made Lucifer feel a bit sick when he noticed the green glowing stitches that looked to be literally holding up the corners of the sinner's perpetual smile.

"Al? You good?" Lucifer asked, worriedly.

"Hahahahhahahahahhhahaaahhhahaha!" Alastor cackled wildly, seemingly unable to stop himself as he wrapped his long arms around his middle. A look of panic blazing in the overlords eyes, yet he still sounded somehow drunk on the power Lucifer had given him.

Neck stinging where Alastor's teeth had been, the king rose from the bed and stood over the insane sounding demon.

What was this? This power was too much. Lucifer's energy was truly like holding the sun. Alastor felt like it was caressing him but also burning him at the same time. And it was glorious but also the most frightening thing he'd ever experienced.

"Stop." Was all the fallen angel said, voice sounding bored.

And just like that, no pain, no whip, no chain around his neck. Just the king's word and Alastor stopped laughing.

The Radio Demon was astonished. It was as if that one word had been its own chain. "What?"

"Back to normal, are we?" Lucifer said smugly.

"Fuck!" Alastor growled, holding a hand to his head in shock.

The king's word might have been powerful enough to quell his hysteria, but it still wasn't enough to calm the buzzing, bright energy zinging through him. "Fuck!"

Lucifer looked over at the Radio Demon with a deep frown. The glow under his skin had not faded, in fact, it was getting brighter.

His normally red eyes were flickering between red and black, but the dials in his black eyes were now a blinding gold.

"Shit!" Lucifer yelled, scrambling to reach Alastor before he started to burn out. The smell of the sinner's burning flesh already invading his nostrils.

Alastor opened his mouth to scream at the pain that was slowly starting to rise through his body, but all that came out was garbled feedback and static. He looked up into Lucifer's eyes with actual fear and panic in his own.

'Lu...Luc..Lucifer... I can't....!' Alastor screamed into the void of his mind, and was surprised when he felt a warm flame wash over him in comforting waves, as a strong, but small hand tentatively lay over his chest reassuringly.

"It's okay. I heard you loud and clear, Bambi." Lucifer whispered into the demon's hair.

That flaming glow suddenly flowed completely over the Radio Demon's aching body, calming the high pitched blast of feedback in Alastor's head.

"Seal! Restrict to 10 percent." The king commented, voice suddenly taking on a resonating boom through Alastor's newly returned soul.

The painful white light started to fade from the demon's vision, and the agonizing pain in his blood began to cool down to an almost pleasant simmer. And the glow under his skin quickly disappeared.

Alastor huffed out the air he was holding, finally able to take a full breath, as his body went lax with the release from the pain.

"Shit..." He growled out breathlessly.

"I did warn you, Mr. Reckless." Lucifer chided. "My power was going to be a lot for you to handle. But… you did good."

The Radio Demon's ears perked up at this, not understanding why his heart was beating so loud in his chest from just a bit of praise from the king.

'Damn it! This place and this moron are turning me into a sentimental fool.' Alastor scoffed.

"Yeah. But, I won't tell anyone, promise." Lucifer laughed as he stood up from the floor.

The sinner's now red and gold flecked eyes widened. "How did you know what I was thinking?"

'Ha. We're linked now, remember?' Lucifer chuckled in Alastor's mind, causing the demon to jump back from the Devil, static blaring in his surprise. "Part of the deal. It's how we will find each other when we need to."

"But...but you can hear all my thoughts! And why can I not hear your's?" Alastor asked, indignantly.

"Pffh!" The king laughed. "Oh, you could hear them if you wanted to, or if I let you. I'm just better at blocking something like this, that's all."

Alastor's smile turned sour at that revelation.

Lucifer chuckled softly as he bent at the waist till his face was a hair's breath from Alastor's, making sure to still keep some space between them. "Awe, don't look like that, my deer."

Alastor felt a strange warmth wash over him at the king's unexpected closeness.

"You'll figure it out, Al." Lucifer said sincerely. "Till then, I'll do my best to not hear too much. Fair?."

"Ah...? I-I..." For the first time in longer than he could remember in his life or afterlife, Alastor truly couldn't think of anything to say.

The smile on Lucifer's face widened to an unexpectedly sweet grin, as he stood back up and moved back over to the bed.

Alastor watched the king, his eyes seemingly unable to look away, as the Devil worked on moving the covers down.

"What are you doing?" Alastor asked with a growl.

"Ha!" Lucifer laughed. "You're gonna look me in the eyes, and tell me you're not exhausted right now?"

"Of course not... ah...!" Alastor yelled indignantly, static buzzing furiously, while quickly jumping to his feet before his legs decided to gave out from under him. His body hitting the floor with a 'thud'.

"Hm. You want to try that again, big guy?" Lucifer said smugly, a chuckle in his voice as he looked at the Radio Demon over his shoulder.

"Shit!" Alastor growled, his face smashed ridiculously into the carpeted floor. "Why am I so weak all of the sudden?"

"And here I thought you were smarter than that." Lucifer snickered.

"Huh?" Alastor asked, barely managing to gather the energy to lift his head, with a look of murder in his eyes. "How dare you, you pompous, overinflated, tiny little... wait, stop...!?"

Alastor let out an undignified shout as Lucifer effortlessly picked the taller demon up in a bridal hold, then carried the sputtering demon over to the bed.

"Okay, in you go!" The king said, as he tossed Alastor onto the bed like a sack of potatoes.

Alastor hissed as he rolled around on the bed like a bag of angry, hissing cats, till he was finally facing the tiny monarch again, fluffy red and black hair fanned around his head in an uncharacteristically soft display.

"What do you think you are doing, Lucifer?" The Radio Demon said in a staticky voice. “How dare you throw me around like that!”

Lucifer watched fascinated, as the sinner's eyes, instead of turning black with red dials, now turned gold with black dials. "Interesting."

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Alastor shrieked.

"Don't worry about it right now. We'll go over all of this again when you wake up." The king said, trying to sooth the demon's frazzled feathers.

"You really expect me to sleep here?" Alastor asked, shocked. “Are you that stupid?

"Yeah, that's exactly what I want you to do. Now, for just this once. Listen to your king and sleep." The fallen angel demanded.

Alastor let out a series of what could only be described as grumpy radio sounds. "And if I do, what will you be doing in the meantime, Sire?" He asked with snark in his voice.

Lucifer smirked gently before turning towards a winged arm chair over by an empty fireplace.

The king glanced back at his new executioner over his shoulder as he snapped his fingers, a warm, cozy, inviting fire now roaring within the elegant fireplace.

The king, then ungratefully, fell backwards into the chair with an intriguing groan that made Alastor's ears twitch strangely.

"Mmm." Lucifer moaned, as he let his body fully slump into the chair, he snapped his fingers once more and a book, the title too old and faded for the Radio Demon to read from the bed, landed in the angel's lap. "I'll be right here catching up on some reading."

Alastor gave him a suspicious glare, even as he cautiously pulled the silky covers over his weary body and lay on his side so he was facing Lucifer and the door.

Lucifer chuckled. "Come on, Bambi. Relax. I'll keep an eye on you, and wake you if anything happens."

"Don't... tell me... what to do." Alastor murmured, voice suddenly sounding tired and sleepy, as he tried hard not to yawn.

Lucifer smiled, but quickly froze when he realized how badly he suddenly wanted to coo over the man's cute sleepy face. 'Fuck, the hell is wrong with me?'

"Hm?" Alastor hummed, eyes fighting to stay opened, the soft mattress pulling him down into sleep's waiting arms. "What did you say, darling?"

Lucifer stiffened again at the endearment. Did he say it to mess with him? Did he even know that he said it? Or maybe he...

NO! No! That was crazy. He would never.

'He's just saying nonsense cause he's exhausted.' Lucifer reasoned.

"Mmm..." the Radio Demon moaned, finally losing the fight with his body's exhaustion.

Lucifer leaned forward in the armchair, placing his elbows on his knees and his chin on his folded hands. The steady fire illuminated his yellow and red eyes as he stared at the actually peaceful looking Radio Demon.

"What did we just get ourselves into, hey Alastor?" Lucifer asked the slumbering demon. For once using his actual name since he wasn't conscious to hear it.

"Fuck." The king growled, putting his face in his hands. "You made all of this sound so good when you proposed it. But now... now that it's done... I think we might be in trouble, my deer."

The only answer he got to this revelation was a now constant, almost comfortingly, soft buzzing sound in the back of his mind.

A sound that at first the king thought he would find absolutely irritating, but instead was bringing him a kind of weird calming relief.

Signing, the king quietly stood and walked over to the bed right next to the demon.

Kneeling down, Lucifer let his eyes freely roam the sinner's face, without the man making snide comments.

The hard angles of Alastor's dark face were in a strange contrast to the soft, fluffiness of his red and black hair and ears. The monocle normally on his right eye had fallen off onto the pillow and his short lashes were gently brushing his face in sleep.

The thought that worried the king, as he gently picked up the monocle to put on the bedside table, was that Alastor's smile was still very much present, even in his sleep.

Though the rest of his face was lax with sleep, his lips were still set in a close-lipped.

Lucifer stared at the sinner's lips. 'Did I really see stitches on his lips? I'm just going to take a..."

The fallen angel stopped as he realized that he was about to touch Alastor's face without his knowledge.

Lucifer looked at his blackened hand that was now hovering over the Radio Demon's face.

Images suddenly started speeding through his head. Memories that weren't his, but were now a part of his brain. Flashes of different people touching him in different ways that he either loved and tolerated, or absolutely despised.

The strongest visions seemed to be extremely recent. Images of that TV headed guy, constantly pulling, pushing, and touching him in the most inappropriate, demeaning and violating ways the Media Demon seemed to be able to think of.

The king jumped back horrified, realizing that these really were memories straight out of Alastor's mind.

"Damn! How strong did we make this bond? Fuck!" Lucifer asked himself, shocked.

He quickly pulled his hand back, staring at his palm blankly, before signing. "Okay, plan B."

Lucifer built up a small amount of energy and let it slowly wash over the sinner. His eyes went wide as he saw Alastor's body started to glow again, but his gaze became locked on the demon's lips with concern.

Glowing neon green threads were indeed woven into the Radio Demon's lips, seemingly keeping them in their perpetually smiling position. "Shit. Who did this to you, Bambi? We're definitely talking about this, but not tonight."

Lucifer let his power sink back into his body, but was surprised, as Alastor unconsciously followed it, almost falling off the bed and into Lucifer's lap.

"Whoa." Lucifer said, risking touching the demon on his shoulder to turn him back on the bed.

When Alastor was tucked back in, the king stood and walked back to his armchair.

With a groan the king relaxed into the cushions, absently grabbing the book he had summoned before from off the floor. Glancing at the cover, the king felt his eyes narrow.

The faded words read, "Demon Deals: How to make them and what are the Consequences" by Satan.

"Ugh! Of course he would be a stickler for rules. Always thinking he's in charge." Lucifer looked back up at the sleeping demon on the other side of the room with concern. "Though, on the other hand, this is maybe the second deal I've ever really made. Or at least taken seriously. So, I guess it can't hurt."

Snapping his fingers softly, a tumbler of whiskey appeared in the king's hand as he began to read.

-----------------------------

The bright red light of hell shining in your face was decidedly not one of Alastor's favorite ways to wake up in the morning. One of the biggest reasons he had gotten rid of all the windows in his room on his first night in the hotel.

The Radio Demon groaned, as he pulled the oddly silky blanket over his head. "How much did I drink last night?"

His whole body hurt, yet it also felt pleasantly warm and floaty.

Alastor closed his eyes tighter, hoping to add to the small bit of darkness the covers supplied, but as he did, a strangely familiar smell invaded his nose.

Taking a deep breath, Alastor recognized it as the smell of fresh ripe apples, the kind you pick yourself as a child while exploring the woods.

Intrigued, the demon slowly lowered the blanket, opening his eyes a crack and revealing his face to the externally light room.

Taking in another longer breath, the sinner recognized another much more different smell just underneath. One the cannibalistic man was just as familiar with, if not more so.

The smell of blood.

Following the smell, Alastor opened his eyes fully to find a small ornate mahogany night table, carvings of snakes, apples and wings lovingly crafted into the legs and drawer of the item.

Raising an eyebrow, the sinner noticed on the tabletop sat his monical, a piece of folded paper, an apple red wooden box and a shot glass full of glowing golden liquid were sitting innocently waiting for him.

"Hm?" Alastor hummed suspiciously.

Taking another look around, Alastor saw that he was still lying in the finely made bed Lucifer kept hidden in his room. The fireplace now held a few smoldering embers and the great winged armchair was empty.

Curiously, Alastor sat up and gingerly reached for the paper on the desk.

The neat, yet somehow messy, handwriting of the king of hell could be seen on the rubber duck themed stationary.

"Hey,

Not sure when you were going to wake up, and I think we can both agree that we should keep all of this quiet for now till we get a good handle on how this is going to work.

So, I'm going down early to see if I can get some of your chores done before Charlie and the others wake up and wonder where you are.

I was reading up on different kinds of demon deals last night and I think to help keep my power inside you stable for now, you may have to drink a lot of my blood.

So drink the glass I left for you, for now, and we'll figure out the rest later.

Also, inside the box is something I want you to hold on to till we can announce your new position properly.

See you when you get up."

Alastor almost laughed when he saw that instead of signing his name, Lucifer had drawn a quick surprisingly well drawn duck with a top hat and holding an apple tipped cane.

Placing the paper back on the table, the sinner removed the blanket and turned to sit with his feet on the floor.

Absently, he reached out and gently grabbed the glass, apparently filled with Lucifer's blood. "That's why it smelled familiar."

Swirling the thick liquid delicately around in the glass, he brought it to his nose to inhale the addicting smell before bringing it to his lips to taste.

The Radio Demon had every intention of drinking it like a gentleman, even with the absence of anyone there to see it, but the moment the first drop hit his tongue, Alastor's vision flashed white again, and a ravenous need he had never known overtook him.

He downed the glass in one gulp, then started licking the inside of the glass till he was sure he got every last drop.

Huffing a shocked breath, Alastor slammed the glass back onto the table, almost shattering it. "Shit! What the hell is wrong with me! What has this deal done to me?"

He brought his hands up to scrub them down his face. "Fuck..."

He could feel the blood slowly sliding down his throat, warm and sweet, soaking every part of his insides all the way to the very blood in his veins and marrow in his bones.

And he needed more!

But that would have to wait.

In the meantime, Alastor looked over at the small box on the table. It was an apple red wooden box with gold accents and a little apple shaped clasp keeping it closed.

Alastor tentatively grabbed it. Holding it in one hand delicately, opening it with the other and gasping quietly at the small golden pin inside.

On a red velvet pillow sat a palm sized gold pin shaped exactly like the three pronged crown Lucifer wore.

It was beautifully detailed and at the bottom the words 'Royal Executioner' was carved into the gold.

Alastor stared at it for a moment, wondering in the light of day if maybe this plan was more then he might be able to handle as he felt that weird fluttering in his stomach once again.

Closing the box with a gentle click, the Radio Demon stood on still slightly unsteady legs, looking down at the new 'uniform' the king had given him, as he replaced his monocle, then snapped his fingers and the wrinkles in his suit disappeared.

Placing the box in his pocket, Alastor called forth his microphone cane, and stared at it in awe, as he noticed it now had new golden accents to it as well.

He then headed for the door with a playful spin of his cane. "Time to see where this plan will go.”
