Jackson?

Summary:

Jack Frost has his memories back, including those of Elsa. But Elsa is dead, probably buried in the snow somewhere. All Jack has is the memories, right?
But when The Man In The Moon sends the guardians to an enchanted forest to try and convince the spirits to help replant enchanted forests, he sees faces he had thought were long gone.

Work Text:

When Jack Frost woke up he was being thrown through a portal.

He opened his eyes and found himself in the North Pole, definitely not where he had gone to sleep. Above him were North, The Tooth Fairy, The Sandman, and The Easter Bunny. "Can't get me here without kidnapping me?"

"The Man In The Moon has called us," North said in his heavy accent.

"The rabbit gets here by himself, Tooth Fairy gets here by herself, Sandman gets here by himself, I'm the only one who gets grabbed and thrown through a portal," Jack ranted.

"Why don't you shut up so we can find out why we're here?" The Bunny said.

"He wishes for us to go the enchanted forest."

The Easter Bunny groaned, Sandman threw sand at the wall, Tooth Fairy flopped onto a chair.

"The one with the psycho frozen queen?" Jack asked.

"The one with the ice spirit, yes." North said. "It is the only one left."

"We go there once a year, it's useless," The Tooth Fairy explained to Jack, "The Man In The Moon wants us get her to help us replant enchanted forests, she never agrees, refuses to leave her forest."

"It's bloody impossible, it is. Nothing ever changes." The Easter Bunny said.

"Ah but something has changed, now we have Jack!" North said.

"Maybe if he pissed her off enough The Man In The Moon would stop sending us there!" The Easter Bunny said. Jack waved his staff and froze his mouth shut.

"Go easy on her, she was a good kid, we all remember that."

"What's her deal?" Jack asked.

"Fire, earth, water, and wind." North said. "The spirits. They lived in that enchanted forest. The people in that forest were always fighting the people of Arendelle,"

"Hey that's near Burgess!" Jack said, he recognized it from his newfound memories, which were still patchy and weird, Jack suspected that he was making some up himself, he kept seeing this girl who controlled ice and snow, like him, he thought maybe he was confused and trying to add his present self into his past life.

"That's not near Burgess that's Burgess is in Arendelle you idiot." Bunny said.

North cleared his throat and they all quieted down again. "So Arendelle finally made peace with the people in the forest, the Northuldra. They gave them a dam, as a peace offering, but the king of Arendelle meant for the dam to weaken the forest. The people of Arendelle came to the forest, it was supposed to symbolize the peace, the king of Arendelle even brought his son. But the king attacked the Northuldra's leader and a battle started. During the fight, a girl from the forest saved the prince of Arendelle, they ended up getting married but until the day they died the king did not know his wife was the one who had saved him. The two had two daughters, one of them is the forest's queen, for their mother's brave act, they became a bridge between the two worlds, and the eldest daughter became an ice spirit. She had a long story, which you may ask her about, she was first queen of Arendelle, and then she gave her sister the throne and joined the Northuldra. But as a spirit, the girl was immortal, slowly everybody around her died, and she had to watch the world get destroyed, so she hid her forest away and refused to leave. She's been there for years. Understand?"

"Not at all, you left so many details out." Jack answered.

"She can explain the rest, to the carriage everybody!" North said
