As the title states this is a poem about feeling depressed. I myself have had depression on and off and so that is the inspiration.
I wouldn't say that this is a representation of how everybody experiences depression as disability is a fluid thing and it effects everyone differently. I also have a mild (according to my own head) flavor (cant remember the word) of depression and its on and off again.

I have a horror short story that I have plans to post at some point if I find the time and motivation to edit it. Not to mention my laptops keyboard is going on the fritz so now the p key (and others like zero, quote, underscore, question mark, etc. doesnt work so I have to paste it, and the a key is starting to show signs of quitting too.

I feel numb again
I know it all in my head
But my mind won’t focus
And my eyes drift off
Seeing shapes and colors
And staticy blots
I feel restless, I feel tired
There’s that bone deep feeling
That I’ve felt before
There’s no good way to describe it
I’m so tired I just want to rest
