Chapter 1: People think I'm insane

Chapter Text

"You do realize that if you want her to go you have to play none loser music." Greg said behind Rodrick.

"None sense, everyone likes rock. I'm going to ask her." Rodrick bravely walks towards the pink convertible. Brave because Regina George is the meanest girl that even the middle schoolers know who she is. Also, brave because Rodrick has the biggest crush on her(he's also stupid but that's common knowledge).

Regina is with two other girls laughing about something or someone when they see Rodrick walk up to them. "Hey, Regina my parents aren't home so I'm having a party at my house." He handed her the flyer.

"Is it beachlor street or bachelor street?" She was playing with her long blond hair that fell to her mid back. "It says both."

"Bachelor, sorry my little brother wrote it," he nodded towards Greg.

"Oh, yeah didn't you fail 4th grade English." She and the two girls laughed at him. "See you tonight." She mocked and then drove over Rodrick's foot and down the street.

"That bitch," he says trying not to look like it hurt that much. "Come on," Rodrick gets into his van and Greg follows. The whole way home Rodrick talks about Regina. It starts mean then just turns into him talking about her ass. Typical.

When they got home mom, dad and Manny made a big show of leaving. To anyone walking past it would look like they were leaving for a week. Especially since mom over packed.

Once they were gone Greg and Rodrick set to work. They got the alcohol out and put lights around the inside of the house. Then set up the speakers for the music.

"Greg, can you help me get this." Rodrick called from the basement.

"Sure," Greg came down the creaking stairs and tried to find the light switch. Only to hear the door be shut and locked behind him. "What the hell!" he shouted as he bounded up the stairs.

"Greg, I'm disappointed. You really should have expected this, I mean, I can't have you ruining this like you do to everything." Rodrick called from the other side of the door.

"They will be able to hear me."

"No, they won't. I will let you out in the morning." That was all Greg heard before 'The trooper' by Iron Maiden.
