Floyd has always been... An interesting character, yes he's loud and unpredictable but there are these sudden moments where he's... Quiet and reserved. It's weird, people that aren't that close to Floyd want to know how he gets like that suddenly while. 

Today seems like one of those days where Floyd is quiet. Hes not talking with anyone, and people just adapted to him. Thats what they always do anyway

It was pissing Floyd off tho, he was more angry after everyone just gave him the cold shoulder. He was sad and annoyed and no one wants to talk with him!? God was he THAT scary. 

Floyd was hanging out in the Monstro lounge, sulking he didn't really have an explanation why he was mad. At first he assumed it was because of failing a important test and Azul was scolding him but honestly Floyd didn't really care. 

He would just retake the test it wasn't that bad. Then he thought it was maybe the fact Jade also scolded Floyd... That just made him sad more then mad, so it's definitely not that! 

So why was Floyd upset.??? 

"Uggghhhhh everything is so boring... "

Floyd mumbled quietly as he stared at the bar in front of him. The array of colorful bottles are kinda fun to look at. 

I mean it was fun until some radoms came in. There was 2 Savanaclaw students and 1 Diasomnia student. He couldn't be bothered to learn their names so, he just ignored them continuing to stare blankly at the colors. 

That was until he overheard their conversation. 

"Ugh are you sure we should be here? Isn't he a worker here? " the Diasomnia student mumbled

"Yeah he works here but I doubt they'll let him do anything suspicious to the food or drinks" the Savanaclaw student laughed

"Well I don't see either of them here, he could hypothetically poison us" 

And when Floyd heard that, suddenly all other words were muffled. Poison? Who are they talking about, all the chefs are nice and surprisingly oblivious, so he doubts they are talking about them. 

Jade and Azul would never poison someone.... Well I mean unless they did something terrible to them , but that's justified. 

It couldn't be the waiters either so.... They were saying that about him? 

Did his reputation drop so low that people are now saying he would POISON someone? Without proper reasoning? 

Floyd felt a headache and slightly nauseous. He got up and started to walk out the lounge when suddenly he bumped into someone. 

Ah that someone just HAD to be Betta. 

Wait why is he here anyway? 

"Ah Floyd is Azul here? I need to give him some paper work that he forgot to pick up"

Vil explained as Floyd just stood there, motionless and with a glazed look. Vil stopped talking and just stood there waiting for Floyd to say something

. 

Nothing? Floyd was known for his explosive temper and now he's just quiet? Vil snapped his fingers in front of Floyd's face to snap him out of it. 

"Are you feeling alright Floyd? Your just standing there"

Vil asked as he raised and eyebrow. Floyd just cleared up his throat and spoke quietly

"Fine just...I'm not in the mood you can leave the papers in Azuls office"

Floyd pushed past Vil. 

Vil glanced over his shoulder and he noticed Floyd's slumped posture. Vil knew something had to be wrong but he has his dorm he can't worry about Floyd, Vil hopes Azul or Jade fix whatever is bothering Floyd.

Floyd was annoyed, no... He was mostly tired and sleepy but he didn't wanna be in his dorm. It felt suffocating everyone suddenly had something stupid to say and he didn't want to be alone with his thoughts. 

So Floyd was just wandering around until he suddenly appeared inside The Botanical Garden. He walked over to The Temperate Zone surprisingly Sea Lion wasn't there but Floyd thinks it's better that he wasn't here. Floyd couldn't deal with anyone right now. 

Floyd walked over to a pot of Mushrooms and he smiled, he remembered Jade talking about some rare species of mushrooms he bought. 

Ahhhh that stuff sounds borning but Jade likes them so he'll listen. Suddenly though Floyd heard multiple voices? 

"Dude do you think it would be smart to do this? "

"Oh my seven Dante we outnumbered him"

"I guess that's true... "

"C'mon he has to be close by... "

Floyd got up and turned around and right as he turned around he saw the same group of boys that were at Monstro lounge but this time they were annoyed. 

"Would you look at that? Hes here right on a silver platter" the Diasomnia guy chuckled. The other 2 idiots laughed along. 

"What do you want. I'm not in the mood to play" Floyd said in a monotone and almost annoyed voice he seriously wasn't in the mood to entertain this. 

The 2 Savanclaw upperclassman took their magic-pens out and Floyd sighed He didn't want to fight but if he has to..... But before he took his magic-pen out suddenly. The 2 students ran over to him and pinned his arms behind his back. 

Floyd let out a chocked yelp. The leader of the group smiled as he walked over holding his pen. 

"Well would you look at that, the scary and evil Floyd is here all sad and pathetic" Floyd rolled his eyes this guy was being so corny and to put it lightly a pain in ass

“Alright, little fishies, this was stupid and all, but c’mon—let me go already—”

As he was talking the grip on his arm loosened. A fist came slamming into Floyd’s jaw, and for a moment everything went quiet

Floyd stood there for a hot second, his head was tilted, his fingers pressed lazily on the place he was hit at. He exhaled, slowly

Then he let out a dry and breathless laughed

“Ahahahahaha! That was REALLY—REALLY FUNNY!”

His head dropped to hide his face and in a blink of a eye, he moved. Floyd charged forward, and drove the random student that punched him to the ground, the guy looked up and saw Floyd's expression it was full of glee and something else he couldn't point out. 

But he didn't have a moment to figure it out since Floyd slammed him against the floor and started throwing punches at him. 

"C'MON! YOU wanted a FIGHT- so fight BACK! "

Floyd yelled out as he continues punching the student, the student tried blocking Floyd's punches but it didn't help since Floyd pushed the protecting hands away. 

The other students were frozen but when they saw blood, they ran over and started pushing Floyd off their friend. "WOAH- get the hell off him-" 

He surprisingly got Floyd off his friend but that only made Floyd target him instead of his friend like how it was going. 

The guy stepped back from Floyd scared but suddenly Floyd grabbed the student by the collar and raised his hand for another round of punches but then a almost whip sound was heard. 

Everyone turned around and saw Crewel. 

"Floyd Leech! Principles office NOW. The rest of you pups come with me to the nurses office"

Floyd Leech let out an annoyed breath, he let go of the scared boys collar and pushed him back, which only added insult to injury since suddenly the student fell back and let out a cry as he fell on the floor. Floyd stepped back surprised, he didn't mean to push him so hard but still they were all asking for it. 

Floyd stormed over to Manta ray's office. He can't wait for him also to talk his ear off about this. 

While walking to the office many students were passing by and they stared at him in horror and fear, usually that would be funny to him but now he can't stand it. He hates the looks he's getting, he hates the way those eyes stare at him. 

Oh.... He's in front of Manta ray's office. He sighed before opening the door harshly. 

"Oho! Mr.Leech I've been expecting you, Ive heard of the ruckus you've caused in the garden. And now you know I hate when negative press comes out about our school. But I can't just kick you out so... You'll be suspended for today and tomorrow! Quite lenient I know! I'm such a good and kind headmaster~"

Floyd was half listening and half asleep durning that whole monologue, he only knows he's suspended for today and tomorrow, which isn't as bad of a punishment as he thought he would get

"Oh and also~! You'll have to help out the ghosts durning lunch since you can't just laze around! Now I see your quite bloodied up so go to the nurse and see if your hurt. Now go along I have other things to do"

Dammit he spoke too soon. 

Floyd only nodded and left the office, he noticed though that no one was around? 

Oh it's club time

Floyd shrugged Sea-Snake and Crabby can survive without him around. He walked to the nurses office, the nurse looked at him and didn't notice any bad injuries so he was sent back to his dorm. 

He was walking through Monstro lounge and suddenly Remora called Floyd over. 

"Hey Floyd, Azul and Jade were looking for ya, if I remember correctly they went to Azuls office to talk about something..?" Ruggie explained almost out of breath, though it made sense he would overwork himself here for a pretty dime, Floyd only nodded at what he said, he watched as Ruggie walked off. 

"Why would Jade and Azul look around for me... " he mumbled to himself as he walked towards Azuls office,he for the first time in a while knocks. 

" come in " he heard Azuls muffuled voice say. And so Floyd walked in and immediately he heard both Azul and Jade yell out

"FLOYD! Where have you been! " Floyd was surprised at the way the synced up to say that he almost giggled

Key-word almost cause immediately after that Jade got up and walked over to him. 

At first Floyd thought he would get a hug or something to show that Jade was worried but no. He was slapped, Floyd's head dropped low and he just stared at the floor. 

"You can't sit still for ONE SECOND! Me and Azul were gone for no longer then 20 minutes and we come back LOOKING FOR YOU LIKE CHICKENS WITHOUT HEADS AND WE COME TO HEAR that you got into a fight with some random students and got suspended for WHAT! "

Jade let out short and sharp breaths as he waited for Floyd to talk, he looked like a mess his hair was disheveled and his uniform wasn't how he usually kept it, Azul looked the same but for once he was calm. Clearly annoyed at what the principal and teachers texted him regarding the fight but he didn't say anything. 

"C'MON NOW? YOU ALWAYS HAVE SOMETHING SMART TO SAY, YOU DIDN'T LOSE YOUR VOICE NOW DID YOU? "

Jade then got in Floyd's face still angry what he didn't notice was Floyd's attempts to say something and now that he was up close he heard him talk quietly. 

"I-I'm sorry Jade I didnt-" as Floyd was trying to apologize with a weird shaking in his voice, he was suddenly cut mid sentence

"Oh, cut the shit Floyd we both know you don't ACTUALLY care.... Seven's... I expected nothing less from you and your theatrics, but I’m still so disappointed and annoyed with you Floyd I really tried...me and mom both tried with you, but I don't know how much more I can try" Jade finally looked away from Floyd he can't even look at him from this much annoyance and worry. 

But suddenly he heard a little sob, and then another sob, and another and another. Jade snapped his head over to his brother and surprisingly so

He saw a sobbing Floyd, he was desperately trying to wipe his tears. 

"I-im so-sorry Jade! I didn't m-mean to make this happen... T-they just... I'm jus- GAH I don't knowo! It's so loud here.... Fuck fuck fuck...i...i need to leave im s-sorry-"

 Floyd covered his ears and Jade suddenly forgot all about him being disappointma, worried and mad at him he quickly tried to ground Floyd to calm down but suddenly. 

Floyd smacked his hand away, and he just turned around and left. Jade stood there surprised and even Azul didn't expect this. 

Jade truely didn't mean for this to happen, it's just he had too much work more then his normal amount and so in turn he had to mask more then usually

And also adding this onto his already shit week this whole situation happened and they couldn't find Floyd anyway so Jade was extra worried. He was so worried that he accidentally blew up at Floyd

Jade turned around to Azul and he asked

"Wh-what should I do Azul- I can't just leave him like that. "

"I... I don't know... Maybe try to apologize tomorrow or..."

They hudduled up trying to figure out how to make it to Floyd. 

Floyd was on his bed, the blankets and even the plushies actually just about everything was thrown off the bed, he laid there on his empty bed dry tear streaks on his face as he tried to ignore the overwhelming feelings he has had all day. 

He hates loudness

He hates the pillows

He hates the feeling of the blanket

He hates everything

He hates himself right now especially

He knew he could be too much, he knew his mom had to accommodate a lot for him and his temperament, he knew his brother delt with his blow ups, he knows hes hurt both Mama, Papa and Jade while being angry. He was a no good, terrible merman and a even worse human. 

He hates the loudness but he himself his loud. He knows he shouldn't sulk right now but the feeling of overwhelmingness and sadness from Jade's outbursts he couldn't help BUT sulk. 

He wanted to get better, he wanted to just be happy and excited everyday but some days he just lays there tired from even getting up. 

As Floyd was sulking in his bed he heard a knock. 

"Floyd... It's me Jade I'm truely sorry for my outburst it was in.... The moment I never ment any of those things I've just.... It's been a rough time for both me and Azul and to top it all off, it seems you were right about me needing to stop masking, it's half the reason why I got so much anger built up"

Floyd just listened he didn't say anything, he didn't react just, silence. It was eerily quiet. 

After a minute or so standing there Jade sighed 

"I'll give you, your space and I'll sleep in Azuls room. Good night Floyd" and Jade walked away

And finally Floyd was able to fall asleep. 

The next day Floyd got up, he needs to go help the chefs today at lunch.... Just his luck.

Surprisingly he got up and got ready for the job, he's the Monstro lounges chef so it won't be a hard job but he just doesn't want to see those assholes again. 

When he showned up he found out the food was already finished and so he'll be on the line giving the food, he didn't mind doing that so he stood there on his phone waiting for lunch to start. 

He saw alot of texts, both from the second year GC and private DMs. Floyd decided to check the GC

Broke BUM: 

Alr but hear me out

We collectively ALL steal crewels shit

And then we cant have his class!!! ✌🥹

Rich²:

Wouldn't we get caught? =͟͟͞͞(꒪ᗜ꒪ ‧̣̥̇)

So as I was sayin-😴:

Yes we would be caught.... Bbuttt it would Be funny

Roseheart:

No it wouldn't be funny! We would disrespect the teachers plus we might get suspended

Broke BUM:

Boooooo party pooper!!!!!??!!!!!!!!!!! 

Snake eye:

Alr shut the fuck up and get back to class

Nahhh that project ain't getting finished

As if you don't eat bones, anyway I heard he was suspended

Floyd read the messages and smiled a little that group was stupid but it was fun to watch. He heard the bell ringing and he put his phone away, he needed to do this well or else headmaster would kill him. 

Surprisingly so, the job went well. He was serving up 2 students and there were 2 more left... Ahhh so easy

Wait those 2 were Azul, Jade. Floyd tried to act as if he wasnt there, but then he he hard Jade say

"Can he come with us"

AND THE FOOLISH GHOST AGREED!?!? 

So now Floyd was in the back with Jade and Azul, both had sad expression except one wasn't covering it up. 

"Floyd I am so SO sorry. I truely didn't mean any of it so-"

"I forgave ya, I was sad and sulking yesterday but I know you, and I know you never ment those things, so don't beat yourself up because of them"

Jade stared at Floyd with a suprised expression before he suddenly hugged him. 

"Still.... I must apologize its never okay for me to say those things and to even hit you... I'm sorry Floyd for saying such false and dumb things and for also attacking you. "

Floyd felt his eyes tear up and his hands hugged Jade closer and even pulled Azul over. 

After about 10 minutes they seperated from the hug and Azul pushed his glasses up and cleared his throat

"We never talk about that... Okay? "

The tweels look at eachother before giggling and nodding. 

Azul, couldn't even be mad. They were better together after all.
