Emma had been on a roll lately. Each turn Regina took, there she was ready to scare her. It was driving Regina crazy with how quiet and sneaky she could be. Waiting for her outside of town hall, right after she left her study or her office. Even when she entered the station Emma just always knew. Usually she never got caught. Until today.
Regina saw Emma take off to the coat closet through the window as she walked up to the front door of the mansion. This time she’d get one up on her. Take the blonde by surprise. Or so she thought.
As she walked into the foyer, her heels making her presence known before she’d said a word. “Emma, I’m home!” She called out as she took off her coat, gathering herself to open the closet door and catch Emma in the act. Before she could turn around Emma had already snuck out of the closet and squeezed Regina’s sides teasingly.
Regina dropped her coat, elbows immediately snapping close to her body and a small squeal escaped her lips in surprise. “Emma!” She stifled a giggle before letting out a frustrated sigh. “That is hardly fair I saw you run into the closet! I don’t know how you do that without my hearing you.”
“All those years tracking people down I got pretty good at certain kinds of things. Sneaking being one of them. You’re actually just pretty easy to scare.” Emma chuckled poking at Regina’s side watching her squirm against her touch again.
“You’re insufferable, Swan.” Regina shook her head pulling Emma in for a gentle kiss.
“Maybe, but I keep things fun.” She smirked against Regina’s lips and picked up her fallen coat to hang it up for her girlfriend.
