Charlotte Morningstar wore her red dress, which was not her favorite dress, but it was one that she liked a lot. And it was something that she knew Vaggi loved. A lot. And the whole reason she was wearing this dress in the first place was because of Vaggi in the first place. She loved the fallen angel very much.
The princess smoothed out the front of her dress and ran her fingers through a bit of her long hair. Maybe she should cut it? Her hair had been long for a while, and maybe it was time for a change? But, then again, this was what she had for a while, and she might not like the change. Why was she having this mental discussion with herself? Charlie shook her head and focused on something else. Her dress.
This was a dress that reached her knees, it was a plain red dress with a loose shash around the waist that was there just for the looks, dark and the color of velvet, with half sleeves that ended at her elbows and a low collar. It was a dress that Charlie had gotten a while ago, years and years ago.
Vaggi appeared to have fallen in love with the dress at first sight, at least that was what it looked like from Charlie’s perspective. Because the fallen angel always complimented Charlie whenever she was in the dress, looked so lovestruck whenever Charlie was wearing the dress, etc. Charlie honestly loved the attention she got from her girlfriend whenever she was in this little dress. And she knew Vaggi needed a little something special right now.
The two of them had just had a baby -and by two of them, Vaggi was the one who had done all of the hard work with the actual making and birth of the baby, and Charlie was being the helpful partner- and Vaggi had not been feeling like herself for a while so Charlie figured that she should do something special for her lover.
“Hey, Vaggi,” Charlie poked her head in through the crack in the door to look at Vaggi. Vaggi, who was lying in the bed with the baby, their little one was feeding from her mother while peacefully on her back. Vaggi had been looking down at the baby feeding from her breast, looking up with a bright look in her eyes as soon as she heard Charlie’s voice.
“Hey,” the other woman responded. Vaggi adjusted her tank top slightly. The baby was still feeding, so she couldn't pull her away yet, but kept herself comfortable. “What are you doing?” Vaggi asked, looking at the expression on Charlie’s face.
A little smirk with shiny eyes.
“Ohh, nothing special. I just figured I should get a little dressed up, since I haven't been able to in a while. So,” Charlie opened the door wide enough for her to step into the room with a twirl, “How do I look?” Charlie asked, standing still and looking over her shoulder at the fallen angel in bed with the baby.
Vaggi’s mouth was agape slightly, eyes bright, and a golden blush on her face. Yeah, she loved the dress. “Wow. You look good, baby.”
“Aw, thank you, you flatter me. You are much too kind,” Charlie acted a little obnoxious after Vaggi’s little compliment. Charlie loved the compliment, as simple as it was, but her goal in the moment was to get Vaggi laughing. And it worked.
Vaggi covered her mouth with one hand while giggling quietly. “Oh god, hon, you're weird,” Vaggi said as Charlie turned around and moved closer to the queen-sized bed.
“Why? What do you mean, I’m weird? I thought you like when I’m weird,” Charlie pulled herself onto the bed and closer and closer to Vaggi, who was still giggling and holding the baby against her chest. “Do you not love me anymore?”
“You know what I mean,” Vaggi responded. The angel put a hand on Charlie’s forehead to stop her from getting any closer, smirking at the princess and what she was doing. “Besides, I know what you're doing. You’re being funny on purpose, aren't you?”
“Oh, what do you think?” Charlie responded to her girlfriend. “Of course I am. You love it when I’m like this, don’t you? After all, I’m in the dress you love so much.” Charlie pulled on the collar of the dress as a little joke, still looking right into Vaggi’s lidded eyes with matching heavy lidded eyes.
“Don’t do that, the baby’s here,” Vaggi pushed Charlie’s hand away from her dress with a small laugh. “She doesn't need to look at what you got. That’s what I get.” Vaggi kept her hand there -on Charlie’s chest- for a few extra seconds before she moved her hand away and moved her attention back to the baby, running her hand over the baby’s soft and light blond hair. “Such a little princess,” Vaggi commented to herself about the baby in her arms.
Charlie’s attitude changed from playful and mildly sexy to peaceful as she looked down at the baby as well, watching as their little girl fed from Vaggi’s breast. “How did we make something so tiny and cute?” Charlie commented on their baby as well.
“I think she looks like your Dad. Are the Morningstar genes that strong?” Vaggi commented on their daughter’s appearance before asking what Charlie had been asked before.
And she was not surprised. Charlie was well aware that she and her father looked like clones of each other, and that carried on to her daughter as well. Honestly, it was pretty funny just how much the Morningstars looked like each other.
“Yeah, they are. I mean, have you seen my mom? I don’t look anything like her, as much as I wish that I were. So, I guess that this happened to us as well.” Charlie chuckled, running her fingers through her hair while still looking into Vaggi’s eye. “Are you mad?” Charlie was aware that the question did not make sense, but she might as well get an answer. Since she always wondered what her mother’s reaction was to Charlie coming out of the womb, just looking like a mini version of her dad and nothing like the beautiful Lilith Morningstar.
“Why would I be? I think it’s funny that I spent months making your child, only for her to be a mini version of you,” Vaggi responded as she finally got to pull the still unnamed baby away from her breast and onto the cloth on her shoulder. “But maybe, if we have another one, it looks a little more like me. Sound about fair?” Vaggi asked as she patted their scrunched baby on the back.
“Wow, already thinking of a second one? Why don’t we wait until this one is older before we even think about another one?” Charlie said with a giggle in her voice, moving back away from Vaggi and just sitting on the bed while facing her girlfriend.
Vaggi just rolled her one eye with a little shake of her head, still patting the baby on the back until their little girl spat up a little onto the cloth. “Oh, alright, find. I’ll chill out on wanting someone to look like me if you can get little Miss bathed and into some clean clothes. Alright?” Vaggi moved the baby girl off her shoulder and handed her to Charlie, who gladly held out her hands to grasp the baby.
“Okay, I’ll do that. Like, I have not been doing a lot of things for you already today.” Charlie said as a jab at Vaggi, who retaliated by flipping off the princess with both hands and even throwing the burp cloth at Charlie, though she missed and it landed on the floor. “Rude,” Charlie turned her head around to look at Vaggi and stuck her tongue out at her girlfriend.
“You love me,” Vaggi responded to Charlie’s comment, crossing her arms with a smirk on he face.
“Maybe I do,” Charlie continued, walking into the bathroom to start a bath for the baby girl, “But sometimes I feel like the love is unfair.”
Vaggi did not respond; she fixed her tank top properly this time and moved back onto the bed to get comfortable. And before Charlie disappeared into the bathroom, Vaggi brought up one more thing. “Hey, Charlie, thanks for wearing the dress and doing all this stuff for me. I love you.”
Charlie stopped walking and fully turned her body to look at Vaggi. She returned the soft smile. “You’re welcome. Anything for you, baby.”
