Work Text:
Sid stood in the doorway of the main lounge at Montague watching Lady Felicia. He’d been there for quite a while, fascinated by all the various different poses she was stretching her body into. Finally he gave a polite cough not to startle her. She looked a little flustered when she turned around and saw him asking how long he’d been there. He confessed and wondered what she was up to. She explained the recent events that happened at her friends Buddhist retreat and that it was a kind of exercise to stretch the body and muscles, also that it aided relaxation. Sid smirked commenting that there were better ways to do that but usually involved two or more people. Felicia rolled her eyes. That was typical of him to think, she scolded, but she smiled anyway. Actually, he told her, for once she was wrong. He was actually talking about a new game he’d heard of that would likely do as good but you’d have a laugh doing it. A game called Twister. Felicia was curious, so he said he’d see if he could get one. It took him a few days but eventually he got hold of one and brought it out after supper one evening when it was just the two of them alone at Montague. He took the sheet with the coloured dots on it and spread it on the rug, then got out the spinning turn thing out. It was pretty straightforward, he explained. First to end up a heap on the floor lost. Felicia laughed, seeing just how the game got its name, and agreed to try it with him as it did seem like more fun than yoga. It wasn’t long before both of them were a tangle of arms and legs and collapsed onto the floor, laughing. Felicia looking up at Sid, who had conveniently ended up on top of her. She booped his nose and said how all of this was very convenient and rather an elaborate way of getting her on the rug by the fire for a bit of a clinch, when he knew perfectly well it wasn’t necessary. She cupped his face and kissed him, which was exactly what Sid had planned.
