Geez. Professor Trein really has charisma stats in the negatives. To think that I could be working on maxxing out THREE limited event cards today…
“This is all for today. There will be a final exam simulation next week, so make sure to prepare adequately. Class dismissed.”
FINALLY. I’m SO ready to absolutely pwn Muscle Red with the new craftable weapons in Clash of Polis. He’ll log into the chat and immediately ask, why do I hear boss music? Whee hee hee.
Everyone’s running out like they’ve got a limited-time exploration event in an open world RPG that ends in three hours. Srsly, why are you runnin? NOT ME. Getting stuck in that stampede increases the probability of extrovert encounters by 100%. I will make my way outside calmly, and once everyone’s run into the cafeteria for lunch or wherever else they go to replenish their HP points, it’s a green-light sprint all the way to the Hall of Mirrors.
One..
Step…
At a time…
It really feels like one of those unbearable sneak quests in Demigod Impact. Every single one of these extroverts has an eye symbol on their head that is at a very real risk of becoming red, but they’ve NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH GLOOMURAI BEFORE! Once they’re on their way to the cafeteria it’s like they’re dragged into an approach-activated main story quest, they’d never notice a random NPC walking by, whee hee he-
“Heeh~? Why’s Firefly Squid walking by like he’s about to go sneak on someone and squeeze ‘em?”
ABORT ABORT ABORT. Was I really doing the classic creepy walk from every life simulation game ever? DUDE. Talk about a blown cover.
WAIT. That is-
“Look at him, Goldfishie! Hehehe, he’s frozen like a scared pufferfish!”
“Stop it, Floyd! It’s impolite to point fingers! Also get off of me! Do you want it to be Off With Your Head?!”
If <encounter> “Floyd Leech” = True
Enable Command <RUN!>
End If
WHEW! That was a MAJOR risk encounter! The Leech brothers are like, open world boss fights with a 0% chance of survival. Saving up the sprinting stamina was an excellent high WIS move.
Now getting through the courtyard without any other SSR encounters should be EZ. Hoping for a max stealth roll on this one, but NO CREEPY VAMPIRE WALK. Maybe a crouch behind the bushes like in the open world hunting mini games…
Eep! Someone just cut in front of me with a max CHA stat walk!
It’s SSR Epic Troublemaker Vil Schoenheit! Srsly, have I got a giant sign posted on my head saying “trying to skirt away from combat engagements” that’s making me attract all of them? Thankfully this is not a turn-based unavoidable battle…
Dude, you have GOT to be kidding me.
SSR Epic Troublemakers COMBO ATTACK: Vil Schoenheit and Leona Kingscholar!
They don’t seem to have noticed me yet, but walking around them is bound to engage combat! Even though they do seem pretty focused on each other, kinda looks like it’s THEM trying to avoid NPC interactions…
Man, when did Night Raven College become a dating sim?
Vil-shi really is giving otome game protagonist that looks like a pretty delicate flower and is actually crazy badass. While Leona-shi is giving the tall, dark and handsome “touch her and you die” type. I bet their conversation’s going something like:
“I don’t need your protection, you overgrown housecat!”
“I know you don’t, but can’t I just be pissed about how that sleazy bastard was looking at you?” Et cetera.
Two SSR Epic Troublemakers like them make for a kinda high POW low HP couple. But then again, what do I know? Maybe their conversation is going more along the lines of:
“So I ended up picking this other restaurant for tonight, because it’s got more vegetarian options and the ingredients are organic, or something.”
“Wow, thank you Leona, that’s-“
“-surprisingly thoughtful of you.”
“Heh. What do you take me for?”
“A lazy lion who chooses to embarrass me daily by falling asleep in wet patches of grass and getting stains all over his uniform.”
Wow. Talk about LAME.
At least mister and mister Shoujo Anime Couple over there don’t seem like they’re going to trigger any dialogue interactions. Seems like my stealth roll was a natural 20 on this one, chat. Whee hee hee.
Now off to the right of the battle map where the coast should be clear…
I have to stop saying that. I keep jinxing myself like every time I do a gacha pull and am just SOOO sure that I’ll get an SSR character in the first ten pull. Keep wishing, my sweet summer child. It’s max pity for you, AGAIN.
Oh I am so losing the fifty-fifty on the new Demigod Impact banner, I knew I should have kept the guarantee instead of wasting it on my four-hundredth sword DPS- DUDE.
You HAVE GOT to be kidding me.
Do I have an item on me that’s making them spawn because explain to me how it is possible that this is the FOURTH SSR EPIC TROUBLEMAKER I ENCOUNTER TODAY and it is none other than FINAL BOSS MALLEUS DRACONIA.
Oh it’s jover for me, chat. Send F to pay respects.
He’s walking in my direction. He’s going to engage combat!! I am not equipped!! My DEF stats are dramatically low and my SP ATK has taken a huge hit after the consumption of sprinting stamina from earlier! Not to mention that CRIT Rate and DMG are automatically reduced to zero because Malleus-shi is *that much* of an insanely high level BBEG!
Maybe I should put him as the final dungeon boss for my next campaign.
He’s got his back to me now! RETREAT! Retreat while our HP points are still intact!
If <encounter> “SSR Epic Troublemaker/“ “Malleus Draconia” = True
Enable Command <stealthily tiptoe away behind him>
End If
“Even in daylight, observing the Night Raven College gargoyles brings me a wonderful sense of peace. Do you not think so, child of man?”
“If you say so, Hornton. Hey, was that Idia just now?”
The goal is in sight! The Hall of Mirrors is just ahead with a big bright main story quest indicator! But obviously I can’t relax just yet seeing how this campaign has gone so far. I am p. sure I am to expect the final enemy troops just around the corner- THERE THEY ARE!
Ah, nah. Nah that’s just Azul. Azul’s fine, he’s pog. His dialogue cutscenes are almost always skippable, except for when he decides to force himself into being main story content. SMH.
And it seems that my fortune has turned, because he’s with Jamil-shi and that means he’s currently got tunnel vision worse than when I’m playing Geometry Sprint. A Premo song would be perfect as victory BGM right now~
“JAMIIIIL! AZUUUUL!”
This cannot be real! What rhythm game trick ending is this? The song was complete, and now you tell me there’s an extra bit at the end that made me lose my full combo, and that extra bit is Kalim Al-Asim, number one* of Night Raven College’s most cheerful characters!? (*My Tier List)
If <encounter> “Kalim Al-Asim” = True
Enable Command <RUN!>

“Idia! You’re here too! We were just about to grab lunch together in Scarabia! Come with us! There’s plenty to go by!”
