"But! Your majesty! This is the 5th princess you’ve refused to give a chance today!"
"Do not question my decisions unless you want me to chop off that tongue. Now go at once!"
Sae did not move on, how could he move on from his first true love?.. but he had to, for the kingdom, for the status, but he didn’t care, all he ever wished was to stay with Alexis forever, but even one of the strongest Crown Princes in the whole world couldn’t make that dream become true, how could time be more powerful than him? And take away his very beloved, the only boy that knew how to make sae forget, and go into oblivion in every sense of the word,
On his way to the flower, probably planning on cherishing the flowers Dear Alexis once loved himself, his best servant, royal chamberlain, Yukimiya comes up running to Sae.
"Y-your majesty! Oh, you have to see this! I beg you"
"Another princess? Tell her to go back the way she came from."
"Please, your majesty, i-i was just wandering near the North Wing-"
Anger flashes on Sae’s face, one he ever only showed once in a while, one only one person knew how to stop.
"you DARE go near the forbidden place?! Especially without MY supervision? Foolish child!"
"No no! Prince! I can explain, but, I saw it, with my own eyes, the.. the necklace! It was glowing non stop, beating like his heart was alive.. what could this mean your majesty?..!"
"I assure you that it’s absolutely non of your business, and stop with that nonsense, he broke me apart, he left me, in this hellfire all alone with the promise of never leaving, now leave." Says Sae, already palming his face full of disgust.
The prince then arrives at the garden, those beautiful flowers blossoming at the start of spring like always, used to be Alexis’s favourite too, Sae remembers.
After hours of poem writing to his one and only, Sae makes his way back to his chambers before changing into his night robe, ready to fall into sleep on the bed he once shared with that someone.

Everything was blurry, until it wasn’t, the pink haired man saw the usual bench he would see in his dreams, as he approached it and sat on it, watching the gorgeously decorated light gray stone fountain spurt out water gracefully, before a very familiar figure appeared from afar, Sae was used to it by now, years since his dead lover comes to visit him once in a while in his dreams, to remind him that even the most breath taking flowers fade one day, but still holds many memories.
"Your highness.. your hair’s a bit messier than usual"
Oh that sweet voice, how could death take it away, it was like angel’s voice, perhaps it literally was.
"Alexis.. you’re back.. again." His voice stayed neutral, a tiny bit broken.
The figure sat right next to Sae, looking more beautiful than he ever has, his hair as fluffy and bouncy as before, and most importantly, his big doe eyes filled with longing and comfort, looking at his dear prince with such love.
"I write about you everyday," says Sae, looking down with some kind of guilt he couldn’t explain as he gently touched Alexis’s hand.
"I know, you know I know."
"How long is this gonna last?.. this dream.. and.. this reality without you, will it be till the day I die, is that the day when I’ll finally get to hold you close without having to imagine it?.."
Suddenly, Sae feels the familiar scent and touch of Alexis on his face, his gentle soft hand running along his jawline.
"You won’t be joining me, I give myself the obligation to do it first," says the magenta haired boy, who’s also disappearing bit by bit, like he always did in Sae’s past dreams..
Sae could feel his lover slowly fading away, his gentle smile slipping away. "Wait.. what do you mean by that?… and what do you mean by first?.. Alexis..!"

The goddess Teieri slowly arises from her not so eternal slumber, hearing Alexis’s last wish of accompanying his beloved to his near death, and of course, she would grant it.
The necklace glows more and more until it reaches its limits, pulsating like a heart beating as its magic works again thanks to the goddess Teieri wish granting.
"The soulmates shall join the heavens together and end the Itoshi Sae’s misery."

"Stupid dream…" mumbled Sae as he woke up, his hair was a mess, usually Ness kept it neat and perfect, but of course, he wasn’t there.
Over the next few days, Sae tried emerging himself into his royal duties yet again, although it has been months since Alexis’s death, he still couldn’t focus, Alexis’s second death anniversary was approaching fast, what could happen on that day? Sae had already lost all hope, each day his body gave in more and more to the weakness, insomnia increases, lost of appetite, he barely got out of his room, except to go to the garden and hope to perish there one day.
Meanwhile, the necklace grew stronger, the power making it run just like before, preparing to give ness one last chance to accompany Sae to his own end.

"Your majesty, you haven’t ate anything since yesterday," says Yukimiya, as Sae’s brother, Rin, and the King of Germany, Kaiser, had all gathered together in the dining hall, watching Sae’s fatigué body.
"He isn’t usually like this" Rin worries.
"Sae, you need to let go, it has been a year damn it! Look at yourself, you’re a prince, Alexis was dear to all of us, but you still have an important duty to do." Quietly yells Kaiser, his blood boiling, everyone was sad, but it wasn’t a reason to stop functioning.
"Michael, calm down, he lost the only person who truly understood him, give him time, I’m sure he’ll start ruling correctly soon." Yukimiya glances at Kaiser,
"Don’t you guys have other plans other than trying to force feed me?"
"Nii chan, don’t be stubborn, everyone is only here to care about you, even Yoichi is asking how you’ve been back home."
"Tell him I’m fine"
And everyone sighs.
Days turn into weeks, the closer Ness’s death anniversary gets, the less performance comes out of Sae, (loosing to simple battles with Yukimiya once in a while, eye bags under his eyes forming, very unlikely of Sae). But the more close Alexis gets to being revived, the necklace shining in deep magenta and pink Colors.

A day in May, so so close to the precious day, the necklace magically appears around Alexis’s neck gracefully, his eyes opening softly for the first time in months,
Meanwhile Sae’s grief only weakened him more, the once strong prince now all tired and useless, waiting for death to take him..
5am, a few moments before the sunrise, and perhaps also the exact moment his world was taken away, Sae made his way to the beautiful flower garden he once watched Alexis adore, as he sits on the grass, touching the blooming flowers, waiting for the sunrise and maybe fate.
"Your highness," could be heard from behind Sae, for the first time in weeks, his eyes flutter open, confused.
"Yukimiya, I told you to-" as Sae turned around, his eyes grew even bigger, much bigger than they ever have. Was he dreaming? Was his grief playing games and tricking his mind again?, no, this couldn’t be, this was too real, he couldn’t never compare this to some silly hallucinations.
"You look rather tired,"
"A-Alexis?!" Yelled Sae, he felt like going crazy, his hands shaking uncontrollably.
"I’ve come all this way, as your highness probably already knows,
your end is near."
Sae couldn’t contain himself any longer, he began crying, tears streaming down his face as he hugged dear Alexis tightly.
"How did you.."
"The goddess Teieri, she.. she arose, to grant me my final wish, which is to be by your side, as you fade away with me.." says Alexis, sat right next to Sae, just like old times.
"Your necklace.. it’s back.. glowing like before.. "
"And it’s power can only serve so little, we both will soon spend eternity in the Celestial Heaven.. nothing will ever separate us.. in paradise.. your highness~"
From afar, Yukimiya, Sae’s most trusted servant, could only watch as Sae spoke with the air, such a commoner like Yukimiya couldn’t see the goddess Teieri’s magic and blessing, but he could feel it, he could feel that his majesty’s end was near, and perhaps feel Alexis’s presence, spirit, enveloping Sae slowly, comforting him into death.
"I.. I’m weak.. I’m giving up on my kingdom.." coughs Sae,
"Your majesty is the bravest man I’ve known, fighting against deep grief in your heart, now let go, as both of our powers give out.."
Alexis holds Sae close, the sun finally rising, the little bit of power in Ness’s necklace drains just as fast as Sae’s heart beat both leaning against eachother for a final deepening kiss…
