IZUKU
Oh great.
Rage.
Fury.
He doesn't know quite what this feeling is, but as he stood and wiped his bloody nose—he thinks of the events of the last week.
First—hell. Actual hell. Running into the forest fighting mud monsters wasn't enough; the extensive training had to be hellish. Tiger did NOT hold back.
But even before that, that perv, creep, cretin, waste of—
Breathe. This helps nobody.
Mineta. Fucking Mineta. Tried to scale the walls of the hot spring and take a peek at the girls' side, something he, Sero, and Iida couldn't stop, only for a child—a literal child—to stop him.
Shout out, Kota. Seriously.
Then they are attacked by villains. He breaks his arms again. And then god forbid he has a normal week, Kacchan gets kidnapped. Then they have to rescue him! What was he supposed to do???
And that's not even all of it!
All Might had to retire! That evil bastard took away so much from him! And he just had to take more!
Izuku Midoriya is not an angry person. But FUCK! I'm angry!
And after being cleared and going back on campus, after all of the horrible things that just happened...
Don't get him STARTED on the blonde boy in front of him crying and begging to fight, because again, WHY CAN'T THINGS JUST BE NORMAL FOR ONCE????
"Fight me, damn it!!" Kacchan yells, tears spilling onto the hem of his shirt. Izuku shakes his head. "What does this accomplish, Kacchan??" Izuku asks, the weight of the words hitting his skin.
Oh, and for fuck sake. We just moved into the dorms.
Kacchan is suddenly in front of the emerald-tinted boy, setting off an explosion to launch him back. "Fight me!!! You think you're better?? Is that it, Deku?!?!?"
Izuku stumbles backwards. "I won't be your punching bag, Kacchan! And what are you talking about??" His words confuse him the moment it leaves his tongue. Better? You're amazing!
Then it happened. Something Izuku thought he'd never see again. Kacchan. Crying.
"All Might was our hero!! But he chose you!! Why??!!" He screams. The voice coming out as barely a horse reminder of the pain he had been burying.
So that's it. This is his only way to vent.
"I'm the one who made All Might retire!! The others won't admit it, but it's true! I got kidnapped. My stupid mistakes made that happen!!" He tears up more.
Izuku takes a step. Then another. And another. Before he could think, he pulled the blonde boy in a hug. Something that shocks him as he tries to push Izuku off. Izuku uses 10% of One for All to hold him still.
"Kacchan...Were you hurting all of this time? I'm...so sorry. None of this is your fault. All Might was always going to lose his power. No matter what you or I did." Izuku manages between breaths, Kacchan's futile attempts to push him off calm down.
"Get...off...me...Deku..." Kacchan grumbles before completely falling onto his knees. "You can't know that. His power is gone. Because of me." He wipes his tears off with Izuku's shirt.
"Fight...me..." He manages. Izuku's grip tightens.
"No," Izuku responds simply.
"You've always...looked down on me. Even now. Do you get a kick out of it, huh?" He yells, the typical bite disappears with the blonde.
"Think about it, Kacchan. If I looked down on you, I would want nothing to do with you. You've hurt me...more times than I can count. I never looked down on you. You're amazing, Kacchan." Izuku replies warmly.
We have such a messed-up relationship.
Kacchan sniffles.
"All Might was our hero. But you were the one in my life. You were the one to push me, in your own messed-up way." Izuku says solemnly.
"Damn, nerd." Kacchan pushes back on Izuku. Izuku lets him go. Kacchan looks anywhere but at him. Footsteps are heard. All Might and Aizawa walk up to the two with curious glares.
"Sorry. But I heard everything." All Might starts, Aizawa giving a tired glare at the two students. He wraps Izuku and Bakugo in the capture cloth. "Problem child, care to explain why you both are breaking curfew?" He glares.
Izuku gulps but sees All Might place a hand on their home room teacher. He hears a whisper from his hero before Aizawa sighs and lets them go.
"I told him our secret, Young Midoriya." All Might sighs. Izuku's eyes widen. "Young Bakugo. I'm so sorry. We have failed to see this sooner. I was always going to lose this power. You did not influence that matter."
"Tsk. Whatever." Kacchan grumbles.
"You both have valiant hearts. It's why you admire him so much, Young Midoriya. You admire his desire to win. It's why you fear him, young Bakugo. You fear his heart. Now that you both have talked, laid out your feelings, maybe...just maybe...You can learn to respect each other. Save to win. Win to save." All Might finishes.
The two rivals stare at each other, maybe...just maybe...
Aizawa sighs. "This still doesn't mean it's okay for you two to fight on school grounds. Unsanctioned." He squints at Izuku. "Did Bakugo do that to you?"
"No—" Izuku starts before Kacchan nods.
"Yeah. I started it." He mumbles.
Aizawa sighs. "Midoriya. I won't give you harsh punishment since you seem to have diffused the situation. But I still expect a written apology for this."
"Yes, sir!" Izuku straightens.
"Bakugo. Three-day suspension. You are going to take over all of the chores for the dorms during that time, and you are not coming to class. AND a written apology. Got it?" Aizawa glares. Kacchan nods.
"Midoriya, get checked out by the nurse. Dismissed." He sighs. "Problem children." He mumbles under his breath.
"Don't get the wrong idea, nerd, I'll still be number one. Without your borrowed power, chosen one." Kacchan spits.
"Nuh-uh! I'll be number one!" Izuku refuted.
All Might smiles. He leans over. "Looks like they're proper rivals now." Aizawa scoffs.
"Oh yes Midoriya. You and All Might are going to tell me everything about this power." Aizawa wraps Izuku and All Might with his scarf. "Understood?"
Izuku and All Might nod.
Rage. Fury.
Oh, I'm pissed.
Coming back into the dorms after being healed is an exhausting experience. Especially with the week that they all had. But what makes it worse?
Mineta. Always. Fucking. Mineta.
As soon as Izuku walks into the dorms, he's surrounded by concerned classmates and friends.
"What were you thinking, Midoriya?" Tenya scolds. Chopping his arms for emphasis.
"Yeah, dude. You're usually more level-headed than this." Jiro adds.
"Deku? What happened?!" Uraraka slaps his arm, and he winces.
"S-Sorry. Kacchan and I had to sort some things out." He adds sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. A tick he had picked up from god knows how long ago.
"AHHHHHHHH!" A feminine voice scream is heard as Momo runs out, covering up with a towel from the showers.
"Come on, Momo! Don't be shy!" Mineta screams as he tries to run out.
Oh.
I'm.
Pissed.
Izuku runs and picks up the purple boy as he flails around. "What are you doing, Midoriya???! Now's my chance!!"
Izuku sees red. "Oh, is it now? I didn't know Yaoyorozu consented to having a creep invade a private, intimate moment. Did you, Yaoyorozu?" Izuku asks, venom dripping from each word.
"N-No. He just was in there waiting f-for—" Momo starts before Izuku grumbles.
"Mineta! Dude! So unmanly!" Kirishima yells, walking up to the purple boy. Mineta winces. "What's the big deal??" He asks.
Oh. Fuck. This.
Izuku instinctively throws Mineta to the ground. "What. Did. You. Do???? Are you kidding me??" He asks as Mineta grunts. He turns to see Izuku have sparks fly around him.
"Yo, Midobro, calm down—" Kirishima starts, before Mina adds, "Yeah, Midoriya. He's a perv, but it's something we kinda got used to..."
Izuku's eye twitches.
Izuku Midoriya is not a violent or angry person.
"But you shouldn't have had to! This creep thinks it's okay to treat women like that?? What gives him the right!! And why hasn't anyone said anything to the damn faculty?!" He groans, shaking.
Ochako approaches cautiously. She lays a soothing hand on his shoulder as he begins to breathe in and out. "We have. They just tell us they will monitor and see how best to confront the situation..." She says solemnly.
WHAT? THEY WANT TO EXPEL PEOPLE BASED ON SMALLER THINGS, WHY ISN'T THIS CROSSING THE DAMN LINE?????????
"MINETA." Izuku yells. Mineta yelps; he's hiding behind Kaminari, who shakes him off. "Nah, dude, not defending you this time." Kaminari crosses his arms.
Izuku powers down. "Count your days. This will be your final week on this campus." He points at the grape hero before turning and calling all the girls to follow him. They oblige. Out of fear, or respect, no one can tell. He can faintly hear Mineta make a crass comment about how "It's not fair Midoriya gets all the babes to go to his room," before Sero smacks him.
Momo, Tsu, Jiro, Mina, Toru, and Ochako join Izuku in his room. He's seething.
"Midoriya? Kero, I appreciate you standing up for us, but that may have been a little much—" Tsu starts before Izuku sighs.
"No. This shouldn't have even gotten this far. I should've said something sooner. I'm sorry." Izuku says dejectedly. Ochako grabs his hand.
"Don't worry about it, Deku! We know you're not like him." Ochako says, her voice trailing off with concern.
"Yeah, Midori!! And besides, I have a plan to make him less pervy..." Mina says with a wicked grin. "Yes. He really needs to calm down." Momo adds before Toru and Jiro speak up.
"What did you mean, this will be his final week here, Greenie?" Jiro asks, her head tilting. "Yeah!! That was super scary!!" Toru squeals.
"Oh, I'm going to get him expelled. Even if I have to tear down this campus to do it." Izuku says, hatred and loathing drip in his eyes. The girls stare in shock.
"H-How??" Momo asks, her tone laced with concern. Izuku sighs, trying to calm himself. "Would you all mind writing statements about his behavior and how that has affected you? I know that it may be uncomfortable, but if Nezu or the other staff don't want to take you all seriously, then I will have a pointed conversation with them. I'll ask Kirishima and Kacchan if they can come back me up." Izuku adds.
"Bakugo? Kirishima?" Tsu asks.
Izuku sighs. "Truth be told, Kirishima, and I were planning to tell Aizawa and Nezu off after what happened in camp. But then Kacchan got taken and..." Izuku shakes. Ochako grabs his hand and squeezes it.
"And Kacchan hates him. He's...it was one of the only things we agreed on. Or well, now we moved on past a lot of our issues, but that's beside the point." Izuku adds.
"What??? Bakugo???" Mina adds. "He...really hates him?"
Izuku nods. "We were talking about it after the training camp thing. It was one of the only times he and I have had a long conversation. He was going to just blow him out of orbit, but I told him we could just try to report him." He sighs. "Though I thought our faculty was better than to not listen to you all. Again." Izuku stands and bows. "I'm so so sorry none of us has done anything sooner. Especially me. I have betrayed your trust, and I understand..." Izuku tears up. "...if you don't want to speak to me or any of us again."
"Midori!!" Mina crashes into him with a hug. Ochako and the others rush in to do the same. "Shush!! It's not your fault!! I'd be happy to write that up for you!!" Mina adds.
"Yes, kero. If it will help get him at least transferred to a different class," Tsu adds before Izuku shakes his head. "No. He needs to be scared out of this behavior. No one will hold his hand out of this."
Momo nods. "Yes. He needs to be properly reprimanded. I'll write the letter as well."
"Damn right. We'll write those letters greenie." Jiro adds to which Toru squeals in affirmation.
Ochako hugs Izuku tight. Tears falling upon her shirt. "Me too! I'll be scathing!" She chuckles. Izuku smiles.
"Thank you all. We'll make this right. I promise." Izuku adds.
Why...does this feel so natural?

Izuku lets the girls all leave for their rooms before he turns and finds Kirishima's room. He knocks and waits before hearing shuffling and the door opening frantically.
"Midoriya! How are you, buddy! Feeling better?" He asks, nervously glancing around.
"I'll feel better when that creep is out of our school." Izuku sighs. "I was hoping to get your help."
It felt strange. To be outside of Kacchan's door. But alas, he needs more firepower. Literally.
*Knock, Knock*
A groan is heard before the door is swung open. Kacchan squints at the two figures in front of him.
"We need your help, Kacchan." Izuku starts before Kirishima smiles a toothy grin at his friend.
It took a few days, but everything was in place. He had the letters from the girls. His own letter to Aizawa. (For the breaking curfew thing)
He couldn't even be that excited about work studies or fighting with Mirio. He had requested a meeting with Aizawa, Nezu, and All Might. Even asking Midnight to be there.
Was that the best idea? She loved to tease, but as one of the only female pro heroes on staff—something they desperately need to fix, mind you—Izuku felt prudent to have her there.
With him, Kacchan and Kirishima agreed to help. Kirishima enthusiastically and Kacchan more begrudgedly.
He had asked Sero and Iida to keep a close eye on Mineta and warned Kaminari not to get too close to him. After a stern glare, Kaminari agreed.
What shocked Izuku the most, literally, was how apologetic Kaminari and Sero were.
"We're so sorry, Midoriya. We should have said something sooner. It was inexcusable for us to think the girls could just handle that." Sero bowed.
"Yeah, man..." Kaminari sighed. "He should've never gone this far. I'm sorry for encouraging that."
"Don't apologize to me, apologize to the girls," Izuku states, but sighs. "But...thanks."
Sato, Tokoyami, Shoto, Aoyama, and Ojiro all supported this decision. God, thank god we're not all fucking creeps.
"Why'd you need me here?" Kacchan grumbles. Kirishima smacks his back, "You know why! The girls already tried reporting this, but they didn't take them seriously! He's hoping that if we all threaten to drop out or find another school, they'll be more willing to kick him from the program!"
Kacchan sighs. "This shouldn't even need to happen. They should have just believed the girls."
"Yeah. They should have. Now we get to yell about their mistakes." Izuku says, glee filling his voice.
As they stand outside the principal's office, Izuku feels a twang of anxiety shoot through his system. He knocks before being called in with a chipper voice.
That was another thing. Everyone agreed not to report Midoriya for his outburst the other day. Mineta sure as hell wasn't because of his fear of being kicked out. So, hopefully, this will be a surprise to them as well.
"Ah, young Midoriya, Bakugo, and Kirishima. Take a seat." All Might calls the three boys sitting across Nezu, All Might, Midnight, and Aizawa.
"Tea?" Nezu offers before the three boys shake their heads.
"What's this about, problem child?" Aizawa grumbles before Midnight chuckles.
"Mineta. We want him out of the program." Midoriya bluntly states, Kacchan and Kirishima glaring at the faculty.
The faculty...were taken aback. "What?" All Might nervously adds before Aizawa sighs.
"This wouldn't be because of his behavior with—" He starts before Midoriya interrupts.
"Yes. He's grown more and more gross with the girls, and no one has even tried to stop him. The other boys try, but he acts on and on without reprimand. It is unfair to the girls of our class, and it is unbecoming of a hero for him to act in such a way." Izuku adds, a bit too formal, but if he were any less, he'd scream.
"Ah, yes. Me and the other faculty are closely monitoring the situation." Nezu chirps. Midnight sighs. Izuku catches the annoyed expression on her face before a loud voice interrupts the thought.
"Bullshit. The girls already reported his behavior, and you told them the same thing." Kacchan scathes.
"Watch your tone, Bakugo." Aizawa squints.
"Sorry, Sensei, but Bakubro is right! We got these letters—" He grabs the letters from Izuku and hands them to Aizawa, who takes them, "From the girls, and it's really affecting them! It shouldn't have gone far enough to where he climbs walls to see the girls' private areas, or sneak in the shower for that! It's not manly!!" Kirishima adds, voice trembling.
They all look at the letters.
"I don't mean to question you all. I know you have been monitoring it. But it is unfair to prioritize one student's comfort over the rest, when the girls are so clearly uncomfortable, and I know you all see it." Izuku starts.
"Deku's right," Kacchan grumbles. Nezu and Midnight's heads shoot up.
"The nerds are right. If the perv can't control himself, he shouldn't stand by us. If nothing changes, I seriously ask, why are we here?" Kacchan adds more venom, adding to the sentence as time goes on.
"Young Bakugo..." All Might starts, but Nezu shakes his head.
"Now, now. It is very concerning..." Nezu adds, Izuku shakes in his seat.
"Concerning?? CONCERNING??" Izuku shakes harder. "Concerning is comments. Not actions. He has proven again and again that he cannot be trusted!! Why are you protecting him!" Izuku glares at the three men.
"We're not protecting him." Aizawa adds.
"Young Midoriya...It was never my intention to." All Might sighs.
"Yes. This is very concerning. We were under the impression his behavior...was less concerning. Just hormones running wild." Nezu sighs.
"DO YOU SEE US ACTING LIKE THAT???" Kacchan screams. Aizawa immediately uses his quirk as Midnight speaks up.
"Yes. His behavior is unacceptable. I was about to discuss it with the faculty as well." She sighs. "We should not have let it get to this point."
"No. We shouldn't have." Aizawa agrees. Turning off his quirk and standing, the rest joined. "We will be removing Mr. Mineta from the hero course effective immediately." Aizawa adds.
Kirishima beams. "Thank you! And please...apologize to the girls in our class. They deserve better than this." He sighs dejectedly.
The three men nod. Midnight hums. "Yes. You boys have known where I stood a long time ago on this matter. We all will apologize, you three."
Kacchan gruffs. Izuku smiles. "Sorry for yelling." He stands and bows. The staff shake their head.
"No, problem child." Aizawa sighs. "We're sorry for allowing this to go on. It shouldn't have been your responsibility or the young women in your class."
The meeting went better than they all expected. More yelling? Izuku thought that was needed.
But it also felt...off. Why did it take the boys to confront the issue for them to act?
They are on a tight leash as far as Izuku is concerned. All Might walked with the trio, spewing apologies as he made his way to the dorms.
Aizawa and Nezu walked ahead with Midnight, who seemed happy with the results of the day.
"All Might. Make sure this never happens again." Kacchan grumbles as they reach the door.
"Of course." All Might adds. A solemn tone and frown graze his features.
"Alright. We'll call him down and talk with him privately. You three, go inside." Aizawa starts. The three walk in to see the nerves gripping the room. Ochako spots Izuku and runs up. The rest of the girls join.
"Mineta. Follow me." Aizawa calls to the Grape boy, who shakes as he rushes to follow the teacher and principal. All Might and Midnight stay behind to announce the news.
As Mineta leaves with the two men, Midnight clears her throat.
"Hello, cuties~" She starts, adding a wink to which the whole class blushes. "As you just saw, Mineta was called out of the area because we are removing him from your cohort."
All Might bows. "We are so, so sorry that we allowed his behavior to continue for as long as it has."
The class stares in shock.
"What did you do, Midoriya??" Sero asks jokingly. "All Might looks like he's just seen a ghost!"
The girls chuckle.
"Yes. I am ashamed. It is a failure as your teacher that I did not act on his behavior sooner. He was already on probation, but we were too slow to act. I apologize deeply." All Might stays bowed.
The girls look to each other. "It's fine, sir! Thank you for doing something now!! But you better not let it happen again!" Mina points.
"Yeah!! We reported this a lot!! It shouldn't have taken Deku and the other boys to get this to stop!" Ochako adds. "But thank you."
"But thank you for doing something, kero," Tsu adds.
"Yes. Thank you." Momo adds.
"Took long enough," Jiro adds, while Toru squeals. "Yeah!! Good riddance!!"
All Might stands and smiles. "Don't be too hard on him, girls, he's a little headstrong." Midnight teases, which gets a good giggle from the group of girls.
Kaminari rushes over and bows to All Might, then to the girls. "Sorry!! I should've done something sooner!! And not encourage his behavior!" He tears up.
Sero walks up and bows. "Me as well. I should've stopped his behavior!"
The girls sigh.
Izuku sighs. The rage is fading at least.
NEZU
"YOU CAN'T DO THIS!!! I JUST WANTED TO SEE SOME—" Mineta screams as Aizawa wraps him with his capture scarf.
"Choose your words very wisely, Mineta. You're expelled. Pack your bags."
Nezu sips his tea. This doesn't make up for our lapse of judgment. But we will have stricter policies now. Thank you, Uraraka. Thank you, Midoriya for calling us out on our behavior.
