How long can you move? (Don't stop even if I ask you too)

Summary:

"How good is his stamina? I know he can run for a long time, seen it first hand. But, exactly how long can he run? Or how long can he fuc–"

Cow groaned, slamming his palm over Saps' running mouth to prevent the idea from solidifying in Cow and Sharp's minds too, "Bro. Shut the fuck up."

"Please." Sharpness added desperately, wanting so badly to bang Saps' head against the wall and then his own, "I do not want to even think of what you were about to imply."

He lied. He's thought about it so many times, spent so many nights awake wondering the same thing. Muffled so many moans into his pillow at just the mere thought of the rabbit and imagining desperately how long and hard Jude would fuck him. Would he want to fuck him?

Notes:

Sharplow propaganda was gotten me. Help. I'm drowning.

Chapter Text

"Do you think he heard us?" Cow whisper-yelled worriedly, sneaking behind Sharpness in the tunnel he was making as they moved, quick and efficient. Yet the anger in Sharp's movements was very obvious, the feeling of defeat rolling off of the fighter. Cow glanced back, meeting eyes with Saparata's own panicked ones.

"Of course he fucking did." Sharpness hissed, arms working tirelessly to make their escape path, "With those fuckass rabbit ears, he probably even heard your hiccups."

Cow burned red, "...Sorry."

The only response he got was a huff and Saparata's concerned look.

They mined in silence for a while, diverting from their original path to another so they don't mine out directly in front of their base. Just because, if Jude and his team decided to follow them, they wouldn't be able to infiltrate their base easily.

Sharp was seething, annoyance boiling low underneath his skin. He flicked his hair off his shoulder, glanced at the coords and then started making a staircase going up. Silence plagued the trio, other than the sound of the pickaxe meeting stone and their hurried footsteps.

Saps pursed his lips, questions regarding the man they were trying to ambush on the tip of his tongue. But he stayed silent, not wanting to  get on Sharp's already fiery nerves. He winced quietly, his wings ached with how tightly they were wound up against his back, their pristine white feathers now matched with dirt.

The plan had been simple; find Judelow, jump him and take back the strength and items he had obtained after trapping and killing Sharp while he was already low and drained from fighting Tai and Noob.

But then they slipped up, moved too close and talked too loud. All it took was one misstep that caused Saps to bump into Cow and apologise and Jude was gone. Sharp said that he had glanced in their initial direction before literally disappearing into thin air.

Fucking rabbit ears and shitty rabbit instincts, Sharpness had cursed, turning towards his two teammates with an angered expression after the sound of Jude's footsteps faded before walking back the way the had come to return to their base; without his strength point and his gear.

"We'll get your gear back, Sharp.." Saps consoled, the words were slow and careful when they left his lips. Sharpness didn't respond so he continued climbing up behind the others, "He's not difficult to find."

"I know." Sharp stated blankly, "I'm not mad, guys."

Sure, you aren't. Saparata thought, the tight grip around your pickaxe was just you being silly, huh.

Cow exhaled, easy to believe, relief lacing the sound, "Oh thank goodness, please don't be. I could feel the bad vibe radiating off of you. Clogging up my sinuses."

Saps laughed to ease up the tense atmosphere and even Sharp huffed out a laugh. He switched to a shovel, mining through the last few layers of dirt that kept them from their base.

Though the tenseness wasn't completely gone, it had lightened up slightly. The white haired man decided it was his moment to bring up his previous curiosity regarding the infamous trapper to further put this failure in the back of their minds.

"How extensive do you think Jude's rabbit characteristics are?" Saps asked suddenly, shielding his eyes from the sun's rays as they beamed through the hole Sharpness just mined, "Like is he more human or more bunny rabbit? Is it 50/50?"

"I don't think so. I mean, I'm pretty sure I'm not 50/50. Sometimes I feel more cow than man." Cow mused, stepping onto the grass and taking a deep breath of fresh air after hours of being underground. He copied Sharp's movements, stretching his arms and legs and groaning loudly.

Saps slapped him on the shoulder for the loud noise, still slightly wary of their surrounding, but he flexed his shoulders too, "But do you think he has the urge to.. uh.. stamp his feet or dig a hole into a wall and live there? Or does he have great stamina like rabbits do?"

"He already lives underground." Sharp stated.

"It's modernised though. I mean like, would he want to go into the woods and frolic around in the bushes? And does he eat leaves and greens exclusively? And a tail! Does he have a little fluffy tail or something like that? Or– oh my god– is he a hare and we don't even know? I'm sure there are some qualities that help in easily differentiating between them but like–" Saps' questions were rapid fire and filled with interest that Cow couldn't contain his amused laughter.

"Wow, you're so interested in his characteristics. You never seemed that invested in my characteristics or asked any questions about how I feel or think." He huffed, crossing his arms in false annoyance. The white man gasped, raising his hands to start denying the accusation but Sharp had already spoken.

"Yeah Saps, how could you?" Sharp chuckled, starting to walk towards the woods that surrounded their base. The other two followed instinctively, still arguing.

"It's not that! Dude, I have been curious about you too. I just– I just thought it was unethical and rude to ask about these things!" Saps defended quickly, shaking his head when Cow giggled.

"I don't find it rude but I can understand how other hybrids would." Cow said, jogging to catch up with Sharp, who, despite listening to the conversation, didn't seem very interested like Saps was.

"Would Jude slime me out on the spot if I asked him directly?" Saps joked, skipping closer to his teammates with a big goofy grin on his pretty face.

Sharp shrugged absentmindedly, "I doubt it. He's a freak, he'd probably do stupid things to satisfy your curiosity."

"Ooooo– that's true. I'm sure he's a lot different than I am, hybrid characteristics wise. We can ask when we jump him next time." Cow agreed, rubbing his hands together like a scheming villain but he looked like a pesky fly.

"I don't think he'd forgive us ever if we asked about his animal instincts before killing him." Saps laughed, his eyes crinkling at the corners. He threw an arm around Cow's shoulders, eyes automatically glancing at the hybrid's ears, "Do your ears hurt if someone touches them?"

"Nope. Unless they are handled roughly but that would hurt anyone." Cow answered, reaching up to run a hand over his own floppy cow ears.

Saps nodded like that was common knowledge, "And your tail?"

  "Oh, that is sensitive."

"Like a good sensitive or bad?" The white haired man asked, ducking to avoid a low hanging branch and accidentally dragging Cow, who he was draped over, down too. Cow immediately grabbed onto the sleeve of Sharp's armour, yanked him down too in an attempt to save himself.

Sharp yelped, planting his feet firmly into the ground and wrapping his fingers around a branch above his head to stabilise all three of them. He snapped his head towards Saps with a fiery glare, "Bro."

"My bad." Saps giggled, straightening slowly, "Back to my question."

Cow also fixed his glare on Saps for a second, narrowing his eyes, "Good-bad sensitive."

The white haired man frowned in confusion, "How?"

"It's like–" Cow stopped, looking for the correct words. In the meantime, Sharp pushed aside a branch to reveal their base. The pale infrastructure gleaming in the blazing sun, almost making it look like it was glowing. The cow hybrid tapped his chin in contemplation, "Hm. It's like good for a bit, then it gets bad so fast. It's like whiplash."

"Huh. Wow." Saps nodded understandingly, stepping over a bush and trailing after the two, "But like, for example–"

"'Kay, I think that's enough ridiculous ass questions today, Saps." Sharp interjected, glancing back at the mentioned man with a raised eyebrow, "We've got things to do."

Saps whined childishly, "Noo! I still have one last question about Jude!~"

Sharp exhaled slowly, eyes closing to resist the urge to K.O Saps into the ground, "What?" He sighed, rubbing his forehead.

"C'mon! I's a va'id qu-tion!" Saps tried defending but Cow tightened his grip, shaking his head like an overworked mother.

Sharp groaned, "Please Saparata. I– Go ask JudeLow, bruh. He'd love to entertain you and your very invasive questions."

"Ain't no way this dirty minded thing is an angel." The cow hybrid scrunched his nose, frowning at Saps. The said angel tried to defend himself but all that reached Sharp and Cow's ears was muffled chittering.

Cow let go of Saps with a disgusted yelp when the angel licked his palm, his face contorted with regret and the desire to kill himself. Saps did not care about Cow's dramatics, he pouted, "You both are so mean to me! I might go to Jude at this point."

  "Please do!"

Mining resources for Cow and his traps was a very boring, very long and grueling job. Although it was the last thing Sharpness would like to do most of the time, his adrenaline-chasing tendencies overpowering his rational thinking abilities and all, it was also sort of relaxing. The repetitive, same routine for an extensive amount of time gave him the perfect opportunity to think, relax and just do anything other than roaming around uselessly like a lost fox. At least it was for a good purpose, to trap their enemies, and wasn't a complete time waste like Sharp had found himself indulging in nowadays.

The pile of filled shulkers was increasing and the durability of Sharp's pickaxe decreased slowly as he cleared out another shulker worth of redstone dust and iron, his ender chest propped open on the side.

Sweat trailed down his back like a stream and he had long since ditched his armour in favour of just a little more ventilation. There was no one here to jump him, he was sure of that, he had made sure of that. His long, blonde hair was tied into a bun, a singular red ribbon holding it in place. Yet the small baby hairs at the back of his neck kept sticking to his skin and it was starting to get on his nerves.

His thin, white button-up shirt was almost completely transparent with how much sweat had soaked through it, sticking to him like a second layer of skin. The buttons were mostly undone, his chest and a sliver of his upper stomach uncovered. His sleeves pushed up to his elbows messily because even his forearms felt sweaty.

He straightened with a deep groan, rubbing his nape and swatting away the strands stuck to his skin. Using the back of his hand to wipe the sweat accumulating on his forehead, he pulled out his communicator device with the other, Cow's list of materials opened on it.

"Done...done.....and.. ugh. 3 more stacks." Sharp exhaled, tongue running over his dried lips. He looked around him like a new patch of iron was going to reveal itself, despite knowing there was none around him here.

Three more fucking stacks.

He packed up his things at that location and decided to move deeper into the cave, slinging his pickaxe over his shoulder as he headed to his previously made staircase and headed further downwards.

The cave was serene, familiar. Excluding the stuffy, humid heat, he liked the underground.

What he didn't like, was being followed.

Which was currently happening.

Sharp will give them credit; they were quiet, insanely quiet. But you can only stare at someone for so long until they realise. Until the goosebumps on their skin become too much to ignore. Maybe if he turned around right now, he would've caught them red-handed. That's what he should've done honestly but he was so exhausted, fighting was not something he was looking forward too. Maybe, hopefully, they were one of the more peaceful people on the server and would leave if he scared them a little.

He turned a corner and immediately stuck to the wall, mining in two blocks to shroud himself in the shadows to wait. There was no movement or sounds of movement for a second but Sharpness trusted his gut. Whoever it was, would come behind him.

And they did.

The extremely faint sound of careful footsteps, followed by a shadow appearing in the tunnel he had just turned into. All it took was for the perpetrator to step a single inch into Sharpness' vision and he was on them like a dog to bone.

Launching out of the little hole, he slammed himself into the person. Grinning when he heard the surprised yelp, followed by a pained wince as they collided roughly with the wall in the 1 block wide and 2 block tall tunnel. Sharp pressed his pickaxe to slightly tanned skin of a throat and laughed.

  "Hey Jude."

Of course it was fucking JudeLow

The rabbit hybrid hissed through his teeth, head pressed against stone to prevent the sharp edge of the pickaxe from digging into his throat and killing him.

  "Hey– what the fuck, Sharp?"

Pushing the pickaxe a single centimetre closer against Jude's sweaty skin just to hear him let out a muffled groan. The taller hybrid's hands flying to grab at the wrist holding the pickaxe and the other wrapping around Sharp's throat.

The blonde man laughed maniacally, tilting his head mockingly at the other, whose glare was unwavering.

"Whatcha up to?" He mused, looking up into Jude's bright eyes. Sapphire blue irises met blazing pink ones, a pickaxe was pushed further, fingers tightening around a throat.

Jude's handsome face (the very face that haunted Sharp's dreams) was twisted in pain and a look of exhilarating fear gleamed in his eyes, his eyebrows furrowed and teeth gritted when Sharp didn't let up on the pressure he was using to push the pickaxe against his neck. A sharp ting of pain alerting his brain and instincts to do something.

God, what was Jude doing? Trying to sneak up on this stupid yet insanely skilled bastard. He thought he would have a little more time to stare at the beauty– no, no beauty. He thought he would have the upper hand, wanted to make a cringey comment out of nowhere and see the surprise spread over Sharpness' pretty face.

But now Sharp was pressed against him, the long line of his lean, fit body pinning him against the wall. From their shoes to their chests, Jude was overheating because of the heat of their combined bodies and something a lot more private.

"You ruined my surprise, man." Jude complained, applying a little more pressure against Sharp's throat and shoulder, trying to push him away, "I wasn't gonna hurt you. 'Swear to god."

Sharp raised a single sharp eyebrow, amusement coating his eyes and the cocky smirk he directed at Jude. His head tilted slightly, the loose bun falling apart as strands of hair fell to frame his sharp jaw, sticking to his sweaty, pale skin. Shining eyes brimming with excitement and the drive to probably cut Jude's head off.

Well, damn.

If this guy hadn't been as attractive and hot as he was (yes, it was totally only Sharp's attractiveness, definitely not Jude's obsessive infatuation with the fighter and everything he did), Jude would've already gotten rid of him. But he was very much enjoying the muscled body pressed against his, even though he knew he could overpower Sharp if the man slightly slackened his advances.

Though he may not be entirely fighting oriented like the blonde in front of him, choosing to ragebait people and then lure them into his artfully created traps rather than fighting like a complete meathead, he sure did know how to use a sword and even a mace and he was good at it. Other than his insane trapping abilities that made everyone hesitant to even chase him during a fight, the fact that he was naturally taller and more agile than a lot of people (Sharpness and his long, lean legs included) helped in keeping him untouched.

"You couldn't hurt me even if you tried, bitch." Sharp laughed, pressing even closer to Jude that now he could feel the fighter's breath against his neck. The sensation was colder and more prominent with how much his skin was precipitating. The blonde's musky, sweaty scent invading all of Jude's senses and rendering him slightly useless. Jude doubted he'd be able to ever forget or stop yearning for another sniff of Sharpness' overwhelming scent, his rabbit brain fighting to bury his nose into the beautiful curve of the blonde man's shoulder and neck.

And the term of endearment, bitch (Jude is known to be insane but no one should ever know the true extent of his down badness and insanity), was enough material for Jude to replay as he indulged in... nightly activities.

He needed to pull himself together.

And he was blessed with the opportunity of indifference in the form of Sharpness' stupid bravery. Sharp's statement made him laugh, the movement of his throat causing the pickaxe to rub against his skin dangerously but Jude was a bitch for both pain and the man in front of him, "Sure, princess. And I don't have an entire set of gear that I got from you dying to my trap."

The blonde snickered at Jude's audacity yet there was an annoyed furrow between his brows, a tilt of his head and suddenly, he was pulling away from Jude completely. Taking away with him the gorgeous scent that Jude was getting slightly drunk on and the wondrous feel of Sharp's quick breaths against his jaw. The hybrid inhaled quickly, the warm skin underneath his palms disappearing so to busy himself, he pressed his fingers against the skin that the blade of the pickaxe was pressed against, rubbing the stinging pain away.

"You're the ultimate third party-ier. Couldn't have let me go home with a victory, couldn't you?" Sharp complained, exasperation lacing his sweet voice, "I killed Tai and Noob. And you, bitch, decided to take advantage of my weakness. I wouldn't have fallen into your stupid, very obvious trap if I was in the right mind."

"Nah you've fallen into 'em even when you were in the 'right mind', as you say." Jude countered, eyes wary as Sharp unsheathed his netherite sword.

"And I've ignored all those times because sure, in some wicked way, it was fair. But this time– this time, you were not fair, JudeLow."

My name has never sounded as sweet as it does when coming from those pretty lips– Erm, no. Pull yourself together, Jude, you're being threatened.

"Oh, I'm so very sorry, my dear princess. How ever could I make it up to you, my blessed royal fuck– okay pause. Wait! Don–" His mockery cut short when the tip of Sharp's sword pierced against his skin of his neck again, threatening to break through and end this interaction. And Jude's life.

"You talk too much. Especially for someone whose life is at my mercy." The previous playfulness and amusement was nowhere to be found. Sharp's icy blue eyes narrowed into slits as he glared at the rabbit hybrid. His arm, that held his sword, extended towards the taller, making him press into the wall so desperately, it was as if he was trying to merge into the stone.

"...Don't kill me." Jude whispered. The plead echoing in the tunnel, solidifying the reluctance and need to survive radiating off of the hybrid.

"Why shouldn't I? You're very much a thorn in my side right now, bitch." Sharp sneered, running his free hand over his tied up hair, "I could kill you now. I wouldn't get my gear back but I would regain a strength point. I think that matters more."

"I'll do anything. Don't kill me, Sharpness. I'm already low on strength points and I–"

  "Liar."

Jude sprung to defend himself when the tip of the sharpened sword threatened to pierce through his jugular, "I swear! Please, I've died quite a bit after– it's just, please, Sharp. Please! I'll do anything you want for however long you want! Just– don't. Please."

Yeah, he was lying. He died only once to his own miscalculation and killed Tai after to regain the strength point. But lying a little wasn't going to hurt.

Especially because he didn't want this interaction to end so quickly. Didn't want to be staring at the wall of his base rather than the gorgeous, flushed, sweaty sight of Sharpness and the strands of hair framing his sharp face, his mesmerizing icy blue eyes and smelling his damn, addicting scent.

The blonde's sharp, menacing stare drilled into Jude's own wide eyed gaze, accessing the situation carefully. There was a threatening silence before Sharp huffed a laugh, a smirk pulling at his lips.

"Begging looks quite good on you."

Oh.

Jude wouldn't mind begging for another thing entirely.

And who was Jude if he didn't say the first thing on his mind without thinking. Because from the sudden surprise on the blonde's face, Jude knew he had slipped up and verbalised his nasty thoughts.

Sharp blinked at the sudden revelation. The threat and scare in his eyes as well as the rude words on the tip of his tongue disappearing as he stared at Jude with pure confusion, "...What?"

  "What?"

  "..what did you just say?"

"I dunno what you're talking about." Fake it till you make it.

"You wouldn't mind begging for another thing entirely. What do– Who is– what?!"

Jude laughed nervously, eyes flying away from the expression on Sharp's face, "Nothin'. I said nothing. Heh- haha, anyways, what do you want me to do?" His words slipped out of his mouth like a boat on ice, fast and barely illegible.

Sharp, bless his dumb head, stared at him with assessing eyes and a beautiful furrow between his sleek eyebrows. Jude's gaze unknowingly dropped to the man's lips as his tongue appeared to run over his soft looking lips. The gleam left behind by his saliva entrancing the blue haired man to just watch for a quiet second, before he snapped out of it by Sharp shifting his weight.

"..Can I just get my gear back?"

"No can do, princess. I may have said anything, but that is something I will not be doing." Jude bathed happily in the blazing, sharp gaze fixed on him as a response. Maybe he should've been frightened because, all jokes aside, Sharpness could kill him with a single swing of his sword, but it was Sharp and his heavenly, sapphire eyes. If Jude got to look into them while the life drained out of him, he would consider it a life well spent.

There was thoughtfulness in those glittering irises and Jude watched as a smirk spread on Sharp's face, "I know what I need you to do."

It had been 2 hours since Jude started making traps surrounding Sharp's base, this time, however, it wasn't to trap Sharp and his team but it was for them to use against their enemies. As per the blonde's request in exchange for Jude to keep his gear and strength point, he slaved away around their frankly intricate base.

In the sight of two watchful pairs of eyes.

Saparata and Cow lounged around exactly a 100 blocks away, constantly glancing at the trapper like he was a blue moon. Wide eyes and hushed whispers. But Jude thinks they forgot the existence of his long rabbit ears because he could pick up on what they were saying quite easily.

"..Should we ask?" Saps whispered hastily, eyes flickering between Cow and Jude's distance figure.

"Sharp will kill us if we scare him off." Cow responded just as quietly. Which wasn't as quiet as they thought it was. Then he frowned, his lips jutting out into a pout, "Why did he ask JudeLow, out of all people, to make traps? Do I not exist? This is so wrong, Saps. I feel so unloved." He whined, crossing his arms like a toddler throwing a tantrum.

Jude fought against the giggle threatening to escape so they wouldn't know he could hear them. He wanted to know what the question was. And then Saps snorted, "We both know Sharp only told him to do manual labour so he could ogle at JudeLow."

Oh?

Jude's hands froze for a second, before continuing with much vigor. Messing up the redstone placement once or twice.

Behind him, Saps continued, "I mean, please agree with me. But it's like, whenever those two are together, they suffocate the room with their overwhelming, unresolved sexual tension. Like– having a sworn rival is already so homoerotic! And it doesn't help that it seems like they're always trying to get their hands on each other one way or another."

Oh.

The rabbit's face was as red as the redstone dust now, his ears twitching with how fast his heart was beating. He fumbled embarrassingly with the components, dropping a comparator and cursing under his breath when a part of it popped off.

Was he that obvious? This was the only thought running through his head. Was his strange attraction to Sharpness and his long, beautiful, blonde hair and his piercing, enthralling sapphire eyes this obvious to anyone who was just in the same room as them? Could everyone tell how desperate he was to get his hands on any part of Sharp's intricate body?

Was it obvious to Sharpness himself? Was that why he pressed so close to Jude while in that tunnel? Did he know? There was no–

"I know Sharp has... Some feelings for him." Cow started hesitantly, "He, like, looks at Jude like that weird ass guy is the reason flowers bloom or whatever."

Saps gasped urgently like he had so much to say, hands slapping onto Cow's shoulders and shaking him violently, "YES! Yes yesyesyes!! I remember him telling me once— very late at night when he's not as wound up as he usually is— if Jude hadn't been unpredictable, Sharp would've said something about his– hm– attraction to the guy."

"Oh wow..." The cow hybrid was quiet for a split second, "Why is Sharp even– uh..."

  "In love."

"Yeah, why is Sharp even in love with him, of all people? Jude and Sharp would be the least expected couple, if they ever got together. I would rather expect fucking Tai and Noob to be into each other than them."

Saps laughed sweetly, "Oh Cow, my sweet, innocent child. Love is so unpredictable and wild, it happens in the strangest of ways. If anything, Jude and Sharp are the first people I would expect to be dating. 'Cause they have that feel to them, y'know. That– That "I'm obsessed with you and everything you do but I'd rather die than admit it" feel."

Cow huffed a laugh, slapping Saps, "That made little to no sense, bro."

"Oh, shut up. You don't understand love and it's stinky attributes. The Shakespeare in me wants to grab those two dense assholes' heads and slam them into each other until they're–"

Jude tuned him out there.

In fact, he probably tuned out of the conversation a while ago. Having long forgotten what he was doing, long forgotten why there was a redstone torch in his hand and what step he was on. Staring blankly at the contraption with his mind a billion light years away.

His brain had paused when he heard the phrase "Sharp in love with him" and then promptly shut down when he realised that this could be true. Not even bothering to entertain the possibility.

That Sharpness; wonderful, bright, resilient, strong, powerful and clever Sharpness could be in love with him too. Sharp, who looked at him like he was a speck of dirt. Sharp, who had killed him more times than anyone on this wretched server and had smiled each time like killing Jude was the best thing ever (Jude couldn't even find himself getting mad, waking up at his bed in his base and replaying that wicked grin constantly until his own lips fought against a smile). Sharp, who Jude thought about every night under the stars, thinking about something that could've been.

Sharpness, who was in love with him.

"Why are you two frolicking around uselessly?" The familiar, sexy drawl of the blonde man that haunted Jude's dreams interrupted Cow's muffled laughter. Someone squeaked and then there was a thud that snapped Jude out of his yearning.

He turned around towards the trio, peaking over the ledge of the hole he was in, and saw Sharp standing over Saps with his arms crossed and a teasing smirk. Saps was on the ground, legs straightened out as he groaned and rubbed the back of his head vigorously. Cow was so red with contained laughter, Jude feared he'd explode.

"Bro. Don't scare us like that! I thought we were getting jumped!" Saps cried, slumping completely onto the grass.

The blonde smiled, eyebrows raised in fond amusement, "I thought you two were going to help fix the farm?"

Cow sighed, wiping his eyes and then slouching, "We were going to.. We were just– uh– talking about private matters."

Sharp scoffed, "Right. You both do know that whatever private matters you were whispering about, very poorly by the way, he can hear?"

Saps and Cow fell silent immediately and Jude saw them exchange a terrified look before turning to the rabbit hybrid, who grinned brightly and wiggled his gloves fingers at them. His cheeks still ablaze and that faraway look in his eyes fighting against being cleared. Sharpness was in love with him.

  "How?..."

Sharp flicked the long braid over his shoulder and looked at Jude for a moment too long and then he huffed, "You both are annoyingly stupid."

"Hi guys." Jude greeted teasingly and watched as an embarrassed flush took over both their faces. Then Saps was scrambling up, tripping over his feet twice and marching over to Jude with his cheeks red and a pointed glare so sharp, the blue haired hybrid wondered whether he was actually going to get sliced in half.

"Saps, what are you doing?" Sharp called out from behind, worry and confusion flashing through his eyes and voice when Saps pulled out his axe suddenly while advancing towards Jude, who put down whatever he was doing and innocently sat on the mechanism he was working on, "Saps!"

The mentioned man crouched at the edge of the hole, glaring down at Jude who looked back with an unexpected smile, "You heard what we said?" Saps whispered-yelled, a dark look in his eyes. The sun glinted across the surface of the enchanted netherite axe when he moved it to dangle in his hand, level with Jude's head.

"I don't have these big ole things for decoration, Saparata." Jude mused, reaching his hand up to run his fingers over the soft fur of his big, rabbit ears. Grinning when Saps pursed his lips and a darker flush covered his cheek, "So–"

"I will cut to the chase, JudeLow. Whatever I just said, all of it, is disgustingly true," Oh? "And I don't know what you're thinking right now, as unpredictable as you are, but if you dare to use it against Sharp, use his feelings against him, I will find you and kill you again and again until he forgives you."

Jude leaned back on his hands, eyebrow raised and waited for Saps to continue, "If you don't reciprocate his feelings, then pretend none of this ever happened, pretend you didn't hear any of that. Pretend that you still hate him," Saps paused, that bravado shattering when a shaky exhale left his lips, "Please, JudeLow. I can't– I won't be able to handle it if Sharp comes back to us with a broken heart, yeah? If– if he loses his composure or anything like that... I will kill you, of course, but right now, I beg that you don't... just don't do anything that–"

"I won't." The rabbit said quickly, trying his best to make his voice as reassuring as possible but his mind was running a million miles per second. Do something, let Sharp know you love him too. Love him until he never has any doubt again. "I won't. Trust me."

"I don't trust you though. I don't know whether you're telling the truth or you're going to harm Sharp the second you get the chance. Like, I know he is all stoic and cold but he really really does gets hurt! At the smallest of things and he tries so hard to hi–"

"Saparata," Jude interrupted again, eyes hard and firm when he looked up at the angel still crouching by the ledge, "I do love him."

Saps gaped at him, mouth open and eyes blinking rapidly like that would help him comprehend, "You..do?"

"Yes, I do. And you have my word, I would rather die time and time again than hurt him deliberately. I promise."

The look in Saparata's eyes was a mixture of doubt, concern, surprise and relief. The angel's wings flared gently and then he sighed, shaking his head slowly.

  "I still don't trust you."

"I know, but I'll prove it."

I love him. I love so much that I'll crave my heart into the shape of his face and the sound of his laughter, if it already isn't. I will worship the ground he walks on if he gives me the chance. I will treasure him and his love for me like it's the reason I'm alive. Because it is, he's the reason I live.

I love him.
