Chapter Text

In the morning, Victoria sits at the table eating breakfast while drinking her coffee.

"Hi, good morning everyone!" Victoria greets her cousin and his children—her nephews and niece.

"Hi, Victoria!" Eggman replies as he places Orbot and Cubot into their high chairs. The two little robots look at her curiously.

Eggman's cellphone rings. He pulls it out and listens to the caller.

Eggman sighs, then hurries to grab his white coat and bag. He quickly kisses each of his kids goodbye.

"I'm very sorry, but I have to go to work—there's an emergency at the hospital," Eggman says as he leaves the house.

"Ok, I will take care of my little nephews and niece," Victoria calls out to her cousin, Eggman.

Metal and Sage are eating breakfast while they listen to their father. Victoria finishes eating breakfast, then worries about the little bots, Orbot and Cubot.

"Can those two eat by themselves?" Victoria asked Sage.

"No, my little brothers are not able to learn or do something simple like that themselves," Sage responds to her.

Orbot and Cubot look up at her, waiting patiently.

Egg Pawn holds a plate with nuts and bolts and gives it to her.

Victoria takes the plate and holds a spoon as Orbot and Cubot eat while they play with doll figures—a Crabmeat and Dr. Yolk—on their high chair's plastic table.

"Good eating! Did it taste good?" Victoria asked Orbot and Cubot.

Orbot and Cubot nod and give her a thumbs up.

Once Orbot and Cubot finish eating breakfast, Victoria picks each of them up out of their high chairs.

Metal and Sage finish eating breakfast, and then Sage asks Victoria a question.

"Can I go outside to the playground?" Sage asked Victoria.

"Yes, let's go to the playground!" Victoria said. She and the kids walked outside to the backyard.

Metal plays basketball on the court, and Sage plays in the sandbox, making a castle. Orbot and Cubot play in a mini-house, pretending.

On the patio, Victoria sits on the bench watching over the kids while she writes in her journal.

Metal played roughly on the basketball court until he was too exhausted to continue.

Sage made a castle shape in the sand in the sandbox. After she finished, she climbed on the bars.

Orbot and Cubot pretended in the mini-house until they finished playing. Afterward, they wanted to use the swings but couldn't reach them.

Victoria realized this and noticed her little robot nephews needed help.

"I'll get you up there," Victoria said as she picked up Orbot and Cubot and placed them in the two baby swing seats.

Victoria pushed the baby swings, and Orbot and Cubot were excited. After an hour of playtime, they all went back indoors.

Victoria sat with the kids in the living room near the playroom. She wrote in her journal book while watching over the kids playing.

"Can I go to the restroom?" Sage asked Victoria as she walked toward the hallway.

In the restroom, Victoria helped pull down Sage's underwear and put her on the toilet, turning away to give her privacy.

"Did you finish?" Victoria asked Sage.

Victoria nodded, then helped Sage off the toilet. She would clean up after Sage left the restroom.

Victoria and Sage returned to the living room near the playroom.

Egg Pawn was cleaning the living room floor when he noticed a problem. Orbot was focused on drawing on papers at a small table. Egg Pawn hurried over and picked up Orbot. Victoria suddenly looked at them.

Egg Pawn carried Orbot and sighed. He twisted Orbot's bottom bowl, then sat him on the potty.

"What's wrong, Orbot?" Victoria asked as she entered the restroom.

"..." Egg Pawn murmured, but Victoria couldn't understand him.

"He said there's a nasty problem—Orbot isn't potty trained yet," Sage interpreted for Victoria.

"Aw, poor nephew! I'll always help you. It's important to take care of yourself," Victoria said warmly. She knelt down on the floor and held Orbot's hip while he sat on the potty.

"Can you two go play and tell someone if you need help?" Victoria tells Sage and Egg Pawn.

Victoria watches over Orbot sitting on the potty until he finishes.

"I made potty," Orbot said to Victoria.

"Okay, I'll change you!" Victoria picks him up from the potty and lays Orbot on the floor.

Victoria focused on the process and changed Orbot's lower bowl after lifting him up, Orbot hovering above the ground.

"No accidents next time! Make sure you tell me, your father, an Egg Pawn, or your brother Metal!" Victoria rubs Orbot's head as she speaks to him.

"Ok, I will tell you next time! But I often have accidents myself," Orbot nodded after he told her.

Orbot headed to the playroom while Victoria returned to the living room to read her book.
