"Mommy! Mommy! Guess what Mara and I did with Uncle Buck today!" Jee squealed as she came running towards her mother.

Taking a look at her chocolate-covered daughter, Maddie sighed before smiling at her brother, "Did you have fun with your Uncle Buck?"

Nodding her head, Jee sent her hair flying into her face. "I did. We made cupcakes!"

"You did?" Maddie asked her daughter, her smile grew as Jee nodded her head.

"I couldn't ask for two better helpers," Buck informed her as he and Mara joined them.

"I can't wait to tell Danny that I got to bake with Buck before he did. I am going to take these to my class as a gift for Valentine's Day." Mara was beaming as she bounced on her feet. "Thank you, Buck." Mara wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug.

"Mommy, put me down. I want to hug Uncle Buck." Jee pleaded.

Knowing her daughter well, Maddie knew if she didn't, Jee would unleash the puppy dog eyes she learned from her favourite uncle, as well as start crying.

As soon as her feet hit the ground, Jee was running towards Buck and Mara, both of whom bent down to catch her. Maddie couldn't help it; she pulled out her phone to snap a photo of Buck with his two helpers, all covered in chocolate and sent it to the group chat.

"Alright, you two, time to get going." Maddie hated to break up the moment.

"I'll help pack up your car with Mara's cupcakes, and I made some for you to share with Jee and Chimney if you want. Just like I have some for Mara to share with Karen, Hen and Denny. I will be dropping off the Grant-Nash's after I get cleaned up." Buck picked up his clipboard from the table where he was going over his list of who got what cupcake.

Maddie couldn't contain her laughter as Mara pulled out her own purple clipboard with her name written pink on the back and a smaller pink one with Jee's name written in purple glitter. 'Chimney is going to hate this. I can't wait for him to see this.' Maddie thought with glee as Mara handed Jee hers and the two of them checked off their own list.

"I'm sure they will taste great." Placing Jee down, Maddie took the chance to whisper to her brother as the two girls talked, "Don't clean off all the chocolate. I am sure that Eddie would like to help."

Buck's ears turned pink as he hissed out, "Maddie!"

Crackling Maddie helped to load up the cupcakes.

Eddie Diaz has never been happier that his son had such a social life than he was at this moment after Maddie had posted the photo of Buck, Mara, and Jee all hugging with chocolate on him. He was happy that they were going to have a house free of a teen.

Entering the house, Eddie heard humming coming from the kitchen. Kicking off his shoes, Eddie placed them in their spot, placing his bag down and tossing his keys into the little bowl that Christopher had made when he was a little Eddie headed off to find his husband.

Lost in his thoughts, Buck didn't hear the door open and shut until two arms were wrapped around him and a kiss was placed on the back of his neck. The familiar scent of Eddie had him closing his eyes and relaxing into his hold. "Welcome home, Eds."

"Mmm, it's good to be home," Eddie murmured. Pulling back a little, he gave Buck enough room to turn and look him in the eyes. Cupping Buck's chin, Eddie claimed his lips in a deep kiss.

Buck melted into Eddie's body, he wrapped his arms around his husband's body and drank in the feel of Eddie's body pressed against his.

They parted slowly. Eddie's dark eyes were full of hunger. "I hope that you kept some of that chocolate frosting around. I want to lick it off your body."

Shivering Buck pointed to the frosting bowl sitting on the counter.

"Perfect." Eddie purred out as he pulled away from Buck, only to take his hand in his and snag the bowl of frosting as he led Buck to their room.
