{Scene at Miku’s house.}
// Miku and Hachu are peacefully sleeping in their bed //
Mom:- Miku dear, wake up!
Miku:- Five minutes, mom…
Five minutes later.
Mom:- Meenu, wake up..
Miku:- Mom.. just 5 more-
Mom:- YOU ARE NOT GETTING EVEN ONE MINUTE. Get up or you’ll be late to school!!
// She is shaking Miku to make her get up for school. Miku then finally gets up, tired and annoyed. //
Miku:- Mom!! It’s unfair. Why does Hachu get to sleep in!?
(Miku looks at her little sister Hachu, who is peacefully sleeping without a care in the world and then glared at her mom)
Mom:- She’s only in the 1st standard!! She’s just a baby! You on the other hand, are in the 6th grade. Do not compare yourself to small kids.
// Miku nodded, but she was still mad at her mom was letting her sister sleep in. //
{ SCENE CUT }
{Scene at Rin and Len’s house}
// Rin and Len were sleeping and all was well.. or so it seemed, until Rin noticed that her blanket was taken. She rubbed her eyes and saw that Len was taking the entire blanket, so she took Len’s pillow, smacked him with it and then slept on it. //
// This doesn’t end well as always, and Len jolted awake at the feeling that his pillow was missing, so he kicked and punched Rin, knowing that only she would do such a thing. //
Rin:- What, banana boy? Are you practicing karate or something?? Or are you signing up for WWE!?
Len:- Don’t act dumb, and cut to the chase. Why did you take my pillow, Rin!!
Rin:- Then, WHY DID YOU TAKE MY BEDSHEET, LEN!? I only took it because you took my bedsheets!!
Len:- So, about signing up for WWE earlier.. now this is WWE.
(Len glared at Rin because he wanted nothing more than to kick her through the wall right now. Rin glared back.)
Rin:- Oh, is that so?? Then let’s get this round started.
// Of course, a sibling fight happened. What else would happen between these two? They were kicking, slapping and punching each other, but their sibling fight was interrupted by.. //
Lily:- Both of you. Dark room. Now.
(They looked at each other and were terrified, since they still believed that the dark room existed, which is silly for a 6th standard to believe. Though they tried to act like they didn’t believe in it.)
Rin:- Uh-uh.. that is not a real thing..
Len:- Yeah.. it’s morning. Everywhere is bright.
Lily:- Come on then. We’ll see.
// Lily then dragged them outside of the bedroom to scare them //
// Both twins screamed in fear of the dark room, then they got out of Lily’s grip and ran to other rooms //
Lily:- Trick always works.
{ SCENE CUT }
{Scene at Meiko’s house.}
// Meiko woke up early like a good girl, swept the house, mopped the floors.. //
// You get it, she was just doing a few chores. Right then, she was bringing clothes downstairs and folding them when her mom appeared from the kitchen to ask her something. //
Mom:- Meiko.. How do you feel about being a 6th standard student now..?
Meiko:- I don’t know, mom. I feel good about it, yet I feel nervous at the same time. But I’ll still have my friends to play with, so I’ll be fine. So I’ll try not to be scared.
Mom:- That’s my girl.
{ SCENE CUT }
{Scene at Gumi’s house}
// Gumi went to the bathroom to take a bath. But it has been 30 minutes since she went inside and she seemed to be singing some songs in there instead of taking a bath //
Gumi:- Please, can I be? Please, can I be? Colourful and.. free?
Mom:- Stop singing in there and get out quickly. You’re wasting too much time there. Is this a restroom or a stage where there is a singing competition!? Please don’t tell me you mistook a shower head for a microphone.
Gumi:- Mom!! I’m not that dumb!! Unlike Kaito!! He thinks the sun is a planet!!
{ SCENE CUT }
{Scene at Neru’s house}
// Neru is just sitting on the couch doing nothing as usual. She is usually glued to her phone, which seemed to be the case here. //
// Neru’s mother is annoyed with Neru because she’s being too lazy. //
Mom:- Were you born with the phone or what??
(Neru doesn’t respond as usual.)
// Her mom puts a broomstick into her free hand, hoping that Neru would at least sweep the hallways. //
Neru:- Stop nagging me!!
// She continues watching videos or doing whatever she does on her phone. //
{ SCENE CUT }
{Scene at Teto’s house}
// Teto is eating her fourth dosa. Toriko is watching her intently and was about to ask for a third dosa to copy her sister but she forgot to ask when Teto suddenly interjected //
Teto:- I’m counting these like I’m counting sheep to sleep..
Mom:- At this rate I should just buy you 4 sheep to herd. Become a shepherd. That’s gonna be your future anyways if you don’t study, like you did for last year’s Hindi exam.
Teto:- Mom.. I thought you forgot about that..
Mom:- I never forget.
{ SCENE CUT }
{Scene at Kaito’s house}
// Kaito is sneaking off to the fridge to secretly eat ice cream without his parents knowing. He was about to put his spoon into the ice cream when his dad spotted him //
Dad:- What do you think you are doing, young man..?
Mom:- Ice creams only after eating!!
(Kaito is disappointed but he nods)
Kaito:- Okay ma..
Dad:- Good boy.
// He is rushing to eat his breakfast. //
// After he finished eating, he tried to sneak off to the fridge again.. //
Mom:- KAITO. DO YOU WANT A COLD ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!?
// Kaito dropped the spoon, put the ice cream back in the freezer and ran to go get his school bag instead. //
{ SCENE CUT }
{Scene at Luka’s house}
// Luka is walking around her house trying to find her eraser, so she could put it in her pouch. On the way, she overheard her mom talking on the phone to Kaito’s parents. //
Mom:- I wish my daughter helped around the house more.. I mean, she’s a really nice girl and all. Very obedient and always listens to me. But I just wish she helped in doing chores..
// Luka pretended that she didn’t hear and found a few stationery items to put in her pouch. //
// She then made her way to the kitchen and tried to wash dishes. Immediately her mother heard and rushed over to the kitchen. //
Mom:- Why are you scrubbing dishes? You’ll get a fever.
(Luka facepalmed)
Luka:- Mom, do you want help or not?
Mom:- No, no, no. You are a kid. You do not do chores.
(Luka facepalmed again, seeing many contradictions in her mother’s words.)
