Chapter Text
You knocked on the door, suddenly extremely nervous and regretting your decision. ‘No matter how desperate I am,’ you thought to yourself. ‘It’s not worth my life!’ Just as you were about to turn on your heels, someone answered the door. Your met with the sight of a 6’2” man who was thoroughly jacked. Upon closer examination, you noticed a raised scar across the corner of his lip. You couldn’t really see his eyes though, as his shaggy hair was obstructing it. “Look what the cat dragged in,” He announced, as if he were unimpressed, but you noticed the slightest little smirk creeping up on his face. “You the new roommate?” He asked as he sized you up, carefully studying you. “Um… yes,” you replied, not expecting to be greeted by one of the hottest men you’ve ever seen. “C’mon in,” he said as if he were annoyed. You nodded and followed him inside reluctantly.
The house was huge and beautiful on the outside but was relatively trashed on the inside. You were expecting worse, but it still was obvious that several men were living there. When you walked in, you entered the living room. To the right of it was an open kitchen connected to the living room by a bar with three seats underneath. To the left was a spiral staircase, ahead of you was a hallway. Immediately after stepping inside, you were greeted by the sight of a shorter man, but almost equally as ripped. He wore a wife beater, showing off his tattoos on his arms. He also had tattoos on his face, you noted. He looked almost displeased but gave you a respectful nod, and you nodded back. “That’s Sukuna,” the 6’2” man informed you as he pointed at the tattooed man. “Hi, Sukuna,” you greeted. “Sup,” was all he said in return. “Um… what’s your name?” You asked the taller one. “Name’s Toji,” he answered gruffly. “I’m y/n, it’s nice to meet you.” He didn’t reply, instead his eyes looked elsewhere, as if something else caught his attention, and he rolled his eyes. “Toji, my man!” A voice exclaimed. You turned around halfway to find it and your jaw nearly dropped. Approaching you was a 6’3”, slender man with white hair and blue eyes. He was quite possibly the most beautiful man you’d ever seen. “How come nobody told me our new roommate was a girl?” He cooed. You turned all the way to face him when you realized he wasn’t stopping until he was a few steps away from you. “I didn’t know, bastard,” Toji spat. “Ignore him,” the blue-eyed man said, waving Toji off, not bothering to acknowledge him. “I’m Gojo, but I’ll let you call me Satoru” He introduced himself, extending his hand out for you to shake. His grip was surprisingly gentle, almost limp, but his stature and muscles told you to not be fooled by his handshake. “I’m y/n,” you said as you released your hand from his soft grip. “It’s a pleasure to meet you~” he practically sang, emphasizing the word pleasure. Right away, you got the impression that he was a fuckboy. The way he spoke, the fact that he was wearing a backwards baseball cap and a basketball jersey with gym shorts all but gave it away. “Right,” you replied. “I have a few questions and boundaries I’d like to go over, if that’s okay.” Gojo nodded, picking up on what you were throwing down. “You want me to gather everyone so you can talk to us?” He offered, causing you to nod. “Yes, please.” Gojo shook his head at your words, chuckling. “You can drop the formalities around me. It’s not like I’m your professor… unless you’re into that,” he said with a wink, causing you to grimace. You didn’t reply, instead you waited for him to gather all the roommates. “I’ll be right back.” He seemed to have no shame or remorse over his comment, and you weren’t sure how to feel about that. You took a seat on the living room couch and waited for them to pour in. Toji and Sukuna were already sitting there waiting, making the air awkward and tense. ‘They must have got the memo already,’ you thought. The next person to enter made you blink stiffly, questioning if you were seeing things. He looked exactly like the fuckboy you just met a minute ago. Only he was wearing a black hoodie, sweatpants, and glasses. You wondered if he changed his clothes. Before you had time to dwell on that thought, a man with a singular face tattoo with long hair in buns walked down the spiral staircase and into the living room. He looked tired, but it added to his appeal. Then a tall, long haired man with gauges and what appeared to be a metal band shirt enters. Finally, Gojo entered the living room, causing your eyes to dart between him and his clone. ‘Twins?’ You wondered. “Y/n, this is Choso, Geto, and my brother, Satoshi.” He gestured to each person respectively. ‘Twins,’ you mentally confirmed. Suddenly reality came crashing down on you. You were in a room with six of the finest men you’d ever had the pleasure of seeing. Your cheeks grew hot and you felt very small at that moment as six pairs of masculine eyes stared you down like you were prey to be eaten. You were determined not to have sex with any of them, but that didn’t stop you from getting turned on just at the view before you.
“Thanks for gathering everyone. It’s nice to meet you all,” you began, watching as the room nodded and let out grunts of approval. “So I guess my first question is, which room will I be staying in?” Gojo face palmed and shook his head. “Silly me, I forgot to show you to your room! Come with me.” He gestured for you to follow him and lead you up the spiral staircase. Upstairs, there were three rooms and a common area with a nook by the window which was currently cluttered with random stuff. “Here’s your room,” he gestured to the first room on the left as he held the door open. “What do you think?” You nodded in approval at the sight. It was clean, meaning it had probably been empty for a while. The room was small, but plenty big enough for you and all your things. After you took a good look, Gojo led you down the stairs. “My second question is, would you guys mind helping me bring in the heavy stuff?” You asked sheepishly, rubbing the back of your head. They all exchanged glances and a few of them shrugged. “Sure,” Geto spoke up nonchalantly, seeming to speak for the rest of them as well. Although Toji and Sukuna didn’t seem pleased, so you weren’t sure if they would help. You asked a couple of other questions, most of which were questions Gojo and Geto answered. “So now I have some expectations I’d like to go over,” you spoke up. You could practically feel half of the room rolling their eyes. The only ones who seemed to be okay with it were Satoshi, Geto, and Choso. “This is what we get for having a female live with us,” Sukuna chimed in, saying the word ‘female’ like it was a slur. You scowled at his words, like you had just smelled something bad. “I haven’t even said what they are yet,” you retorted with a roll of your eyes. “Lemme guess,” Toji spoke up. “No touching, no sex, and you want us all to keep the place spick-and-span.” You had to pause for a moment because yes, that’s exactly what you were going to say. “Yeah that pretty much covers it. Keep your rooms however you want them, but common areas should stay clean. If it helps, we can assign chores so there’s not a single person getting stuck with the lion’s share. What do y’all think?” Silence filled the room. “I think it’s a great idea,” Gojo added, a clear attempt to kiss your ass. “Great. Then we’ll go over that in a second. But first I wanna stress what Toji already said, which is no touching and no sex. I do not consent to any of that bullshit, alright? So unless you’re cool with being a rapist, don’t try it. Actually, I’d advise against it either way. I’m small but I will find a way to kill you and eat your flesh when I’m done. We all on the same page?” Everyone in the room nodded, most of them looking off-put by your words. Gojo looked amused and Sukuna looked… almost delighted? Thrilled? You weren’t sure what to call it, but it wasn’t the reaction you were expecting. Him you definitely had to watch out for. In fact, it made you question your decision all over again. You didn’t really have another choice, though. This was the only place in your budget available in your area, and you weren’t keen on being homeless. It was official: you had made your bed, now it was time to accept it and lie in it, hopefully alone. But hopefully not alone. No. Definitely alone. You couldn’t let the looks of these men tempt you, weaken you. You knew that sleeping with roommates was a bad idea.
After going over chores, you were ready to start bringing your stuff in. “Alright. So would a few of you mind helping me bring my bed and desk in?” Toji sighed in response, slapping his hands on his thighs before getting up. “I’ll do it,” Toji and Gojo said in unison. “I got it,” Toji insisted. “Don’t be ridiculous, Toj. I’ll help you,” Gojo pushed. “I don’t need any damn help moving a damn bed,” Toji barked. “Uh… are you sure? It’s pretty heavy,” You barged in, worried about the state of his muscles after carrying such a thing. “You must not know me, sweetheart,” he said with a smirk. “I’ll do it,” Toji pressed, getting in Gojo’s face a bit. “Fine, fine. If it means that much to you, I’ll let you win the contest of strength.” He was calling it what it was: a pissing contest. You wondered how many of those you’d be caught up in while you stayed here. “Let me win? Please,” Toji chuckled as he made his way outside, brushing Gojo off. You followed him in case he needed any help (he didn’t). But when he opened the back of your truck and pulled the bed out with ease, carrying it on his shoulder with one hand, your jaw nearly dropped. Again. That mattress was particularly heavy. It had to have weighed 150 pounds, at least. And here he was, carrying it one-handed. You simply stood there frozen, panties sodden as he walked the mattress in all by his lonesome. When you snapped out of your trance, you grabbed two boxes, stacked on top of each other and walked inside with them, watching as Toji made his way up the spiral staircase with no issue, and following close behind. When you entered your new room, Toji dropped the bed with a grunt, causing you to gasp under your breath. He turned and stepped forward, closing the distance between you, crowding your space and towering over you with his large form. You were suddenly very aware of the fact that you were alone in your room with all 6’2” inches of pure man, causing your heart to race. “Anything else, princess?” He said the word so… condensingly, with snark to boot. You couldn’t help but roll your eyes. He was acting like you were high maintenance for being the physically weaker sex, as if it could be helped. “My desk? Oh, and my bedframe.” Toji nodded with a sigh, as if he were being held at gunpoint. “You don’t have to do this, you know…” Toji scoffed in response. “And let these pansies handle it? Please.” It was almost like he secretly wanted to help, but didn’t want to admit it, so he threw the rest of the guys under the bus as an excuse. “Alright, well, I appreciate the help. Maybe I’ll cook something for you later as a thank you,” you offered, trying to keep your eyes up but ultimately failing to do so. He noticed and smirked. “Yeah? Not gonna say no to that, princess.”
The two of you went back down to get some more of your things, and when the heavy stuff was in your room, Toji checked out and fled to his own room downstairs. You sighed and headed back out to your truck to get the rest of your things. When you entered the living room, Geto stopped you. “Hey, do you need help bringing the rest of your stuff in?” He asked with a sweet, yet hollow smile. “Oh, sure. Thanks,” you replied, returning his smile. “I’ll help too,” the other Gojo brother chimed in, so quiet you almost missed it. He seemed to be so different from his brother. It was almost off-putting. “Thanks!” You said as you made your way outside, with the two of them following you. “So, what brings you to a place like this?” Geto asked as he grabbed a few boxes. You grabbed a few boxes in turn before answering, and so did Satoshi. “Desperation,” you answered simply, drawing out an “ah,” from Geto. “My parents are the uber religious type,” you explained as you began to walk in. “They didn’t take too kindly to the fact that I’m grown woman who has sex.” For some reason, this made the other Gojo brother clear his throat. He almost sounded like he was choking. Out of all the men here, you were probably drawn to him most. You did love a nerd, after all. His reaction almost made you smirk. “So you got kicked out?” Geto wondered. “Yep,” you replied with a pop of your lips. “You couldn’t find anywhere else to live?” He was bordering on prying, but he was hot enough to get away with it. “No. Everyone I know lives far,” you answered. “I see,” Geto said as he put his things down in your room. “Well, welcome. Glad to have you here, I think it’ll be nice to have a girl to balance out all the, uh…” “-masculine energy?” You interjected. “Sure. Let’s call it that.” Satoshi was already outside grabbing more boxes when the two of you made your way out. “Thanks, that’s nice to hear,” you began, letting a beat of silence pass over. “Anyway, you two don’t seem the type to live in a place like this. Seems… beneath you. No offense.” Geto sighed and nodded in response. “I thought it would be a good idea to live with my best friends,” he said. “That, and the rent is cheap.” You paused for a second, wondering who the best friends in question could be. “So who are your best friends?” You asked as you made your way up the stairs, drinking in the sight of the two men before you. “The twins,” he answered. “We grew up together. I get along with Satoshi here just fine, but Satoru and I have… differences of opinion when it comes to how we keep a home.” You nodded in response, listening carefully as you approached your room. “So what about you, Satoshi? Why do you live here?” You tried to include him in the conversation, as you noticed he was particularly quiet. “I’ve never lived apart from my brother. It’s kinda the only life I know.” He scratched the back of his head sheepishly as he spoke. “I can imagine, being a twin and all,” you said. He responded with a chuckle. “Yeah, pretty much.” Before a beat of awkward silence passed, you spoke up again. “So what are you two studying?” Satoshi was the first to speak up. “Electrical engineering. What are you studying?” He asked. “Psychology,” you answered promptly. “What about you, Geto?” He slid his hands in his pockets before answering. “Philosophy.” Your face lit up when he said that. “Oh no way. I’m taking a philosophy class.” His face lit up in turn and he smiled a bit. “Really? Who’s the teacher?” He wondered. “Mr. Wexler,” You replied. “Oh me too! Looks like we’ll have a class together then.”
The three of you chatted idly while you took the last few trips to get your things, and when you were done, you said, “I told Toji I’d cook for him, so I guess that applies to y’all too. Anything in particular you’re hungry for?” They paused for a minute and Satoshi shook his head. Geto told you he was a vegetarian, and you offered him a few options. When he chose one, you immediately realized that you needed to go to the store to get the ingredients, and asked the two of them if they wanted to go with you. They both said yes, and you were on your way. “You play video games?” Satoshi practically exclaimed. “Yeah,” you answered casually as you walked across the parking lot to get to the store. “What games do you play?” He inquired as he walked about five strides ahead of you. “I mostly just play single player RPGs, to be honest. What about you?” “Well, I’m playing Fear and Hunger right now.” This made you raise your eyebrows. It was an interesting choice, to say the least. Certainly not what you expected him to play. “But I play a lot of Overwatch. That, and like you said, different single player RPGs.” “What are your favorites?” You asked, trying to catch up to him so you could hear better. “Man, that’s tough. Well, I love all of the God of War games-“ “Oh my, god. I love God of War. I’m playing God of War 3 right now,” you explained. “Also, walk slower. Your legs are too long for me to compete with,” you yapped, still trying to catch up to him. “Sorry,” he replied sheepishly as he slowed down. “Anyway, that was a great game. The new ones are good, too,” he added. “Good is selling it a little short, don’t you think?” You asked with a raised brow. “True. They’re amazing games. I might be a little biased cause of nostalgia, but they’re also great games,” He added as the three of you walked in the store. “I played the new ones first, actually. Before I played the old ones I would watch like, two hour long YouTube videos of God of War lore,” you said. “That is so cute. I mean- cool. Yeah, that is so cool,” he stammered, stumbling over his words. “It’s okay. It’s definitely not cool,” You joked. “True. I mean- no. Never mind,” he stuttered, shaking his head at himself. You just giggled, finding his awkwardness to be endearing. “It’s okay. I know what you mean,” you assured him. “Geto, have you played any video games?” You asked, pointing the conversation in his direction. “Some,” he responded. “I played the old God of War games,” He stated as he shrugged. “Oh, you haven’t played the new ones? They’re soooo good,” You informed him. “So I’ve heard. I’ll get around to playing them someday," he replied. There was something so effortless, so nonchalant about Geto. It drew you to him. After a beat of silence passed, Geto spoke up. “I have a question.” You turned your head towards him as you looked down the aisles for your items. “Yes?” “Is it annoying to be a female gamer?” He wondered, looking at you seriously. The amount of eye contact was almost daunting. “Yeah,” you answered. “You get hit on and mansplained at a lot.” Geto and Satoshi nodded their heads. “That checks,” Geto agreed. “You probably get hit on a ton,” Geto added. “Why do you say that?” You said with a smirk and narrowed eyes. “Because you’re attractive, a girl, and a gamer,” He replied matter-of-factly. He wasn’t hitting on you, it didn’t seem like. He seemed to have just been being honest. “Oh. Thank you? Yeah, thank you.” You said. “I’m not trying to hit on you,” Geto stated. “You just kinda… are.” “Thank you. So are you,” you complimented. “Oh, my god. Enough with the flirting, guys.” The Gojo brother chimed in. “We are not-“ Geto started, and Satoshi quickly interrupted him. “I don’t care. Can we just… find the food we need?” So you did just that while continuing to have lovely conversation with the two of them. As you looked at the backs of them, still chatting, you thought to yourself: ‘maybe this won’t be so bad, after all.’
