[The video starts with the cast in a minibus to the foster home. Front to back: Angela, Shayne, Chanse, Amanda, Spencer, Arasha, Tommy, Noah, Trevor, Courtney, Ian, and Anthony. All cast members are in shirts that read "Every child deserves the chance to grow up. #TheGreenPlaceProject".]
Shayne eagerly introduces the video as the cast buzzes with excitement. "What's up guys? Today we're out of the studio to support an amazing cause, The Green Place Project. "
The group erupts into loud and excited cheers.
"The Green Place Project is a charity, founded in 2008, to help connect children and young people in the care system with forever homes." Shayne continues. "This charity is absolutely amazing, and they have over 35 group and specialised foster homes in the US. None of these are government funded, however, with the Project relying on donations from fundraising events, sponsorships, campaigns, and more. They also have a program to help train foster carers in order to take on placements with complex needs, including learning disabilities; high support needs Autism; complex trauma, and Dissociative Identity Disorder." Shayne finishes reading off the card in front of him, beaming enthusiastically.
Angela peers over at the card and grins. "Yeah! And this project places emphasis on older children and teenagers who are less likely to get fostered or adopted. This can include teenagers or children with disabilities, queer youth and those close to aging out."
Amanda "Hell yeahhh!! We're gonna meet some kids, some teens, we're gonna pair up and hang, chill, play some games, and raise some money!"
Anthony: "Now, you may have noticed, Keith is not here. Fear not." He pauses, grinning. "That is because he is planning a suprise for later on in the video, so stay tuned!"
The cast bursts into another round of laughter and cheers.
