Hello everyone, it’s me Sam! I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted and I just wanted to give an update on this story and where I’ve been. First of all, I want to say thank you so much, I’ve read everyone’s comments and they’ve all made me smile, so again, thank you. Next, I haven’t updated in a very long time because I was dealing with mental health troubles and trying to finish my first year of college strong. Thankfully, finals week is over, so that is a weight off my back! Anyways, I’ve been thinking a lot about this story and where it’s going, and I’ve decided to make some changes to enhance the quality of this work. When I had initially written the first chapters for this fic I had not created any sort of storyboard, so I didn’t have a clear idea of pacing or what order certain events should take place in. I have since gone back and created a storyboard that I believe will make this fic better. Unfortunately, that means I will have to be changing the chapters I have already posted. A lot of this fic is going to be overhauled and rewritten to better suite the needs of this story. However, the premise of the fic is the same, as are certain events such as Peeta’s strange flashbacks. Simply put, the changes I am making will make the relationship between Peeta and Katniss more complex and a slower burn, which will tie in well narratively. I am already in the process of rewriting chapters I have already posted and will have them posted very soon :). If anyone is interested, once I have updated this fic I will be posting the old chapters separately under the name “My Dandelion: Original Draft”. Thank you so much for your patience, I promise I have not given up on this fic and I hope everyone who has read it hasn’t either! I’ll see you all very soon with some new chapters.
