Chapter Text
Another whiny groan escapes Cas and Dean clamps his hand over his mouth, hard. The hand not preoccupied with stroking Cas’ cock in languid movements lathered in lube.
“Sssh, baby,” he soothes. He looks into his eyes. They’re blue, desperate, and wet. “Wouldn’t want anyone to hear, now, do we?”
Cas shakes his head in small frantic movements. Dean smiles reassuringly and affectionately at him.
Then he knees him in the groin. Again.
Cas’ grunt is muffled under Dean’s hand. So is the automatic “Thank you” he attempts.
They’re in bed, both naked, in a homely guest bedroom in Cas’ family’s beach house in the Hamptons. They’re here for Memorial Day weekend.
His parents are in the room next door and Anna is right across the hall. It’s late, the whole house left in silence as everyone sleeps.
That’s why Cas has to keep quiet while Dean keeps him between pain and pleasure.
He’s beautiful like this, sweaty and agonized, and entirely Dean’s. Dean came earlier, with Cas’ tongue in his ass and his hand on his cock. Even so, he stirs against Cas’ hip.
“You wanna come?” Dean whispers. He plays with Cas’ cock, tightening and loosening his grip, adding tempo and taking it away.
Cas looks torn. He loves denial, but he’s had three weeks of it and is desperate for some release. Because even though Dean is playing some long-term denial game with him, Cas is still his free use sex toy.
Dean is impressed. He wouldn’t have been able to last anywhere near this long, had he had the same treatment. But of course, Cas has had a ton of practice in the year and change they’ve been together. And in their year of online play before that.
Finally, Cas nods under Dean’s hand, eyes silently begging.
Dean smiles indulgently at him. He removes his hand just long enough to offer him a kiss, before clamping down even tighter than before. He suspects Cas might make some noise.
Dean adjusts his position, gaining leverage. He starts jerking Cas off for real, watching the anguished expression on his face. When Cas tenses under him, he lets go and knees him in the balls. Again, and again. He knees the cum right out of him. Cas shakes with pain and pleasure. Sobs and moans drown under Dean’s hand.
“Gorgeous,” Dean whispers before kissing him through the aftershocks.
They kiss for a while, muttering sweet nothings between them, before they wind down and fall sleep, naked and entwined with each other.
Cas is still a little sore the next morning. His muscles ache from being tense for so long, and Dean slides down behind him on a sunchair and works out the knots in his shoulders under an expensive-ass, yet basic, linen shirt.
They had breakfast with Cas’ family earlier, and Dean is proud of Cas for acting so normal as they sat together surrounded by toast and eggs and bacon, and discussed their respective plans for the day.
You wouldn’t know he’d spent his night getting edged and abused. Or that his balls are slightly bruised but for the small wince when he sat down.
They have the deck to themselves while Dean works on his poor sub’s overworked shoulders and back. He slides his hands under Cas’ loose shirt and digs his fingers into the meaty parts of his back, releasing tension.
The blue pool distorts and reflects their surroundings, the wind breaking the smooth surface, creating ripples that chase each other from one end to the other. It’s a little too on the chilly side to go swimming. The sun is high in the sky, but a snippy wind breaks through the warming rays. The ocean before them shimmers darkly.
Cas’ parents went to visit some friends nearby, and Anna is inside somewhere, sketching a new idea.
Right now, they are alone. Dean winds his arms around Cas’ middle, tucking himself against his back in an embrace. Cas returns the affection by resting his head against Dean’s and slides one hand up under the hem of Dean’s shorts.
They don’t talk. The only sounds are those of the wind, the waves, the seagulls calling out to each other. Every once in a while they’ll spot people walking by. They’re miniature in the distance, and they become more landscape than audience.
Dean slides one hand down Cas’ soft stomach, soft hair tickling his skin, to the front of his shorts.
He cups him and Cas whimpers slightly at the ache, but his cock stirs under Dean’s hand too.
“Easy,” Dean taunts quietly, as if he’s not chubbing up against Cas’ ass too. He presses a kiss to the delicate skin under Cas’ ear. Goosebumps form so he does it again.
Cas takes a shaky breath. “Am I not allowed to get hard?” he asks.
“Hm,” Dean contemplates shortly, hand stroking along Cas’ hardening length. “No.”
“Sorry,” Cas whimpers, fully hard and throbbing.
Dean removes his hand from under his shirt to pull his head back by his hair. He lightly scratches Cas’ scalps as he holds him in place and speaks against his ear.
“Maybe I should lock you up in chastity and throw away the key, hm?”
“Yes,” Cas agrees. His voice is dark in arousal. “Please, lock my disobedient cock up.”
Dean pulls on his hair again, moving him back to he can meet his eyes. “Let’s go get the cage.”
Cas looks down, disappointed. “Sorry, Dean. I didn’t bring it.”
He refuses to meet Dean’s eyes, but Dean just keeps staring at him in silence until he raises his eyes with trepidation and shame. Then he shoves his head down, hard enough that Cas has to catch himself.
Dean opens his arms for Cas to lean back into him after. He slides his hands up under his shirt again in calm affection. Cas twists to catch a kiss, and then they sit back to watch the ocean in calm silence.
The silence lasts a minute and a half before the squeak of the patio door announces that they’re not alone anymore.
Anna walks out, sunhat and a pair of huge sunglasses on, and a vibrant green juice in hand. She leans against the railing, replacing the view.
“Hey guys,” she says. “Whatcha up to?” she asks, almost a little conspicuous. Dean swallows nervously, wondering if she caught onto any of what just transpired. He slowly removes his hands from under Cas’ shirt.
“Relaxing,” Cas replies.
It’s hard to tell behind the sunglasses, but Dean thinks she squints. He feels a little caught out, and he knows there’s a faint blush climbing up his neck. Cas remains stoic as ever.
Turns out she caught on to the wrong part. Dean is close with Cas’ family, has been since day one, but the afternoon is… frostier than usual. No one says anything but both Novak ladies are a little more reserved towards him than usual.
Cas’ dad is out of the loop, and happily chats with Dean as usual.
Then Cas’ mom pulls Cas aside for a “private matter” after dinner, and Anna is uncharacteristically rude while Dean plays a boardgame with her and Mr. Novak.
Dean almost asks what the problem is but decides against it. He’s a little worried about what she might say.
Cas reveals the issue later that night, after his talk with his mom.
Dean is stacking the used plates together to carry into the kitchen, and Castiel grabs the empty glasses. Before he can follow Dean into the kitchen, his mother grabs him by the arm.
“Hm?” Castiel asks.
“Can I talk to you?” she whispers. She glances after Dean, like he’s not supposed to hear.
Castiel frowns. “Sure.” He follows her outside to the deck, glasses still in hand.
Once outside, she collects her cardigan around her and looks a little uncertain.
“What’s the issue?” Castiel asks, nervous now.
“It’s just… Anna and I were talking earlier, and… how do I put this?” she says, mumbling the last part to herself.
Castiel frowns.
“Look, you know we love Dean, and we’re thrilled you’ve found each other and make each other so happy,” she says. After a moment’s hesitation, she adds: “If you do?”
“Do what? Make each other happy?” Castiel asks.
“Well… yes,” she says.
“We do,” Castiel replies. “He makes me very happy. I hope I make him happy too. I try to.”
“Right…” his mother tapers off. She’s holding her tongue about something, it’s obvious.
“Just spit it out, mom,” Castiel says.
She sighs. “It’s just, well, I was talking to Anna, and she mentioned she’d seen Dean be… I don’t know… kind of mean with you. In a physical sense.”
Castiel clenches his eyes shut. Anna must have caught the hair pulling and shoving out on the deck earlier.
He opens his eyes and levels his mother with a look. “Mom, I’m not going to explain this to you, but Dean and I have something very special. He is not… crossing any limits,” Castiel says, trying to be vague. “I’m exactly where I want to be. Trust me.”
