★Eddie Fell first. — Pansexual (He/Him)
Doesn't care who he feels attracted to, he will love them if they stay and love him back.
★Jonathan Fell harder. — Bisexual (He/They)
He always knew he wasn't Straight, but he still liked/es girls, so he was really confused.
When they first Started dating, they acted like they didn't know each other to hide it.
Jonathan wanted it to stay that way, but Eddie wanted to find people he could tell them about his relationship so he could hold Jonathan properly in public.
The first person Eddie told about this was Robin (+Steve), and the first person Jonathan told was Nancy (+Will)
Jonathan and Eddie are each other's no. 1 fans and muses.
Eddie's songs have a message for Jon, and some of Jonathan's pictures are meant for Eddie.
★ Jonathan has a stack of pictures of Eddie in his night drawer, he keeps them for himself.
Eddie Yapper x Jonathan Listener, Eddie often thinks that he makes people annoyed by him speaking like a radio. But Jon always lends an ear to him, and gets genuinely worried when Eddie is quiet.
Eddie WORSHIPS Jonathan's voice, he always looks at him with Bambi eyes when he talks (Kinda ironic because Jonathan's voice is soft and he listens to loud music all the time.)
Since Jonathan doesn't enjoy that much physical touch, Eddie tries to give him his space. But when they sleep Eddie subconsciously wraps Jonathan into a hug.
★ Eddie doesn't sleep unless he's holding something.
Jonathan has insomnia (wants to sleep early but can't), and Eddie's sleep schedule is fucked (CAN sleep early but refuses to Cuz' he enjoys dawn), so he helps Jonathan Sleep.
"When you are with someone you love, it signals your brain that you are in safety."
This is why Jonathan always gets sleepy when he's hanging out with Eddie, and Ed acts like he's offended by it (Acuses Jonathan that being sleepy when he's with him means he's boring), He isn't.
Their first date was on Eddie's van in Loch Nora, they recommended each other music they listened to while yapping about stuff they like.
Now they do that each monthly anniversary they have, but they mostly make mixtapes now.
Eddie was AND is really flirty, Jonathan just rolls his eyes every time he compliments him. But when Jonathan flirts with Eddie, he gets really nervous.
(He knows how to hide it, but you can tell he's nervous because he plays with his rings a lot and gets quiet.)
Eddie flirts/compliments Jonathan all the time to tease him (he means them, but he also likes to piss Jon off). Jonathan doesn't do it that frequently, that's why when he does, Eddie knows he's being genuine and gets all flattered.
Jonathan cooks for both of them, and Eddie loves Jonathan's food.
When they plan to hang out, Eddie is the one that always plans something for Jon. Since he thinks he deserves proper rest and a fun un stressful time.
They don't do those "I love you more—No, I love you more" fights with words, they do them with actions. And whoever gets more flushed that means the other loss (Jonathan wins most of the time).
They May seem all lovey-dovey but it was really a trouble for them to act like that with each other. Mostly because of Jonathan's insecurities and family. Eddie was really patient with him because he wanted to be with Jonathan.
They had a fight once and decided to distance themselves, but they felt really bad since their whole social circle was pretty much the same.
Jonathan was the one to apologize first in that. And it Took Eddie sometime to get over it, but he eventually gave in and told Jonathan all the things he felt.
About physical touch, Eddie tries not to be clingy with Jonathan, somehow "managing" to "keep" his hands to "himself"
This "rule" (he has for himself) gets completely ignored in the mornings:
Jonathan always wakes up with Eddie all snuggled in his back, or in his chest, or spooning him and hiding his face in Jon's neck. Sometimes when they're fully awake Eddie even slides a hand under Jonathan's shirt.
At the start of their relationship it was kinda awkward, Eddie always having a mental breakdown and repeating to himself that he couldn't do that unless Jonathan gave him the glaze of "serve yourself."
Eddie likes to kiss Jonathan's Hand like a gentleman, the more time they were together, Jonathan got more used to Eddie's touch.
Eddie and Jonathan had to raise themselves when they were kids. The difference is that Eddie was all by himself and Jonathan at least had his brother.
Jonathan forgets about his own well being, and Eddie is stubborn as heck, always wanting to keep his problems to himself and never bothering to ask for help.
That's why Jon always tries to do stuff for Ed (Like helping him with his grades, supporting his band, promoting it and his D&D club, cooking for him, defending him in every chance he gets, etc...), but gets a little upset when Eddie does something for him.
They don't take pet names seriously, Jonathan finds them a little cheesy, and Eddie annoys him –Yet again– calling him pet names.
Sum' like:
“How' you doing my sweet cupcake?”
“Of course, princess”
“Little Bunny/Puppy"
It CRINGES them both to the core. But that's the point of using them. Eddie's favorites are the ones Jonathan Hates the most (Bunny/Puppy).
Jonathan has more clothes from Eddie that the one that are actually his. He doesn't steal them, they just happen to appear in his dresser so however put them there doomed themselves.
Eddie is running out of clothes so he got used to being shirtless in his house against his own will. (He saw Jonathan with his hellfire shirt once and knew exactly where his clothes were going).
Eddie gets all excited internally when he sees Jon wearing any of his rings.
And this happened once;
—I'll get us matching rings if you like them so much!
—So... You're practically asking me to marry you?
—I didn't say that, but if you insist...
They adore dressing for Halloween, Jonathan loves Halloween and Eddie loves costumes.
They also match them (Eddie's work). The ones they like the most are:

Wanted to dress like their main subculture, Eddie helped Jonathan decide what to wear and how to do his make up.
🐇.– Zombie Jon & Vampire Ed:
Eddie always gets associated with a vampire, so he might as well make something about that. And since Jonathan is the older brother of the one and only "Zombie boy" he decided to make him feel really cool with Eddie's help.
🦇.– Mummy Eddie & Bounty Hunter Jonathan:
this one was Jonathan's idea, since one of Eddie's Iron Maiden tapes had a mummy in it, he thought he would look really good like that.
★ Jonathan has a photoshoot of each one of their costumes.
★ Eddie Uses their Costumes for inspiration for his campaigns.
They like to get lost. Always going for walks in the woods for a smoke, going to abandoned buildings, lakes and one or another cave.
In one of the caves Jonathan found a bat, it reminded him completely of Eddie, Jonathan loves bats now.
Every time Jonathan sees a Bunny he gets anxious/uncomfortable, it reminds him of his father. But Eddie is always there to calm him down, and that made Eddie think of Jonathan each time he sees a Bunny.
No, Eddie calling him "Bunny" to tease him doesn't trigger Jonathan or makes him think it's mean, because it's Eddie the one that is calling him that, and he loves the Freak too much to know that he doesn't call him to upset him.
If it did, Eddie would stop that instant.
Also, Eddie also being there in those times were slowly making Jonathan more open to things he had bad experiences to.
Eddie makes handmade accessories for Jonathan about the bands he likes.
But Jonathan can't wear all of them because of work, so he keeps them safe and sound in his desk. When they go on a date, he makes sure to wear some of them.
One time they went shopping together and an old lady threw holy water at them. Jonathan stopped Eddie from fighting a middle-aged woman later on.
When they argue, they talk to their friends and ask what they would do in their situation, and if someone ever said "i would find someone else" they would yell –friendly– at them.
Eddie asks Steve and Robin for advice, and Jonathan asks Nancy and sometimes even Nancy's mom.
In the night when they are still pissed with each other, Eddie can't sleep well–and he's all moody.
Jonathan can't Sleep either because of insomnia.
Jonathan has back problems, so Eddie gives him massages when he finds him asleep.
They love rainy days, they always pick a book to read and a snack to spend time together, maybe listen to The Smiths (since it's a calm afternoon, they listen to it the most)
It depends on the book they're reading what they are going to listen to. If it's horror, Eddie gets to pick the music, if it's just to chill & read, Jonathan picks it.
Eddie was very """careful""" when he started dating Jonathan, he was afraid that the party might discover him.
He thought he was doing a good job until Will asked him why he made so much noise in his brother's room, or why couldn't he keep his hands to himself when he saw Jonathan.
Of course if Will knows Mike also does, and if Mike also does then Jane also does, and If Jane also does then Max also does, AND if Max also does then Lucas also freaking does. Dustin was the last one to know.
The party made a whole lunch hour about the two, collecting pieces of the puzzle and finding them amusing but annoyingly obvious.
Dustin knew about them out by Eddie himself, since the whole party told him that he was Down bad. Dustin was surprised, but he supported Eddie of course.
Dustin kept asking questions like "So, who's the (wo)man in the relationship?" Eddie found it funny, and used it to annoy Jonathan more.
Sometimes Eddie and Dustin both go to the Byers house to see Jonathan and Jane.
Will and Mike saw them being happy and that encouraged them to start dating and tell the party (NO one was surprised).
Eddie, Mike and Dustin all made their characters in D&D fall in love with Jonathan, Will and Jane's Characters. (Yes, Eddie dragged Jonathan into D&D, it was his time already).
Eddie and Jonathan's were married, Mike and Will's were dating, and Dustin was courting Jane's.
Mike, Will, Dustin and Jane ask for relationship advice from them, but since Eddie and Jonathan ask Steve, Nancy and Robin for it, it's a whole copy and paste situation.

Eddie and Jonathan have movie night every now and then, and they discuss the movie lore very seriously.
When they cuddle, it mostly starts with Eddie jumping at him and getting into a friendly cat fight. They knot each other like pretzels, they stop when they're out of air to actually cuddle properly.
It was almost fully Steve's fault they met.
