Work Text:
I can’t picture him
I remember his eyes and his nose
And his stubble and his body
But I can’t put it all together
And its all warped
I remember how he stood above me
And how his knuckles turned white
When he balled them into fists
But I can’t put him into one shape
And I remember his voice
Really fucking well
I can’t forget that
He would punch walls
He broke our front window once
I was there
He cut his hand really bad, bragged about that after
He kicked our dog, threw him
He hit my brother and my mother but I can’t quite place
If he ever hit me
I just want him to disappear forever
Not die necessarily, I just want him to go away
I don’t want to hurt him
I don’t want him to suffer
I don’t want to be like him
I just want him to go
