“Tonight…was the night!”
Yatta thought in her head as she kept looking over herself in the mirror, checking for stains on her clothes and such.
She had been thinking on how to say that she loved Scraps without sounding like herself- which was odd…she never seems this nervous! Yet…it scared her that she could be turned away!
”UGH! What if I give her some sweets? Maybe some chocolate and those orange flavoured ones she likes!”
She spoke with slight nervousness sliding into her voice without realising-
she was a MESS!

Scraps had been sweating lots- her paper felt wet, her cheeks redder than her usual pastel crayon, and she had to fix her whiskers multiple times before of the glue weakening!
She kept telling herself that Yatta will accept her offer to be her girlfriend! Be her lover for life! Yet- her face still had that sweat tear…
She had to calm down!
”Maybe I should ask Goob for a hug before going out…”
She thought to herself, before fixing her plastic bag dress and walking out the door just to find Goob in the kitchen.
She sighs before walking over, and to probably apologise to sprout…
”Hey- Goob what are ya’ up to?”
She spoke before realising she’s acting weird because she’d probably not been so nervous…goodness she needed a hug…
Goob had noticed her and immediately knew something was off.
”Scraps…is something wrong? Do you want a cupcake and a hug?”
He said while snacking on some failed cupcakes that Sprout and Cosmo made on accident.
He got closer to her and held it out.
Scraps took it and nibbled on it. She spoke with a muffled voice that was still understandable.
”Yesh plaese…”
Goob had nodded and put her in a fluffy hug, not tight enough so she’d choke luckily!
Scraps smiled and held the position as she ate the slightly burnt cupcake until gone.

It was time for the date HANG OUT and the two of them were ready.
Nervous but ready! So they had made it up the hill.
It was lit up by lighting bugs, and there were daisy’s all over the mountain! It was beautiful…
Scraps was preparing the picnic as Yatta stared up to the moon, most likely praying for Astro to give her good dreams tonight.
As Scraps finished up Yatta turned and spoke-
“Want some help? Because I can help!”
That was unusually soft…Scraps payed no mind to her tone and blushed.
Her pastel red crayon cheeks turning red as she nodded.
Yatta smiled and got to work, pulling some foods out- as most was crayons and sweets…
She smiled and sat down with Scraps after helping set up.
They ate their foods and finished almost all of it in one go! But once they stopped-
They looked deep into each other’s eyes, blushing.
They started speaking at the same time…
”I have something I wanna tell you…”
“I want to tell you something, Yatta…”
”I have wanted to say this for a long while…”
“I’ve wanted to say this since the beginning…”
They got closer to each other’s faces and Yatta put her hand on Scrapes cheek…
”I…love you…”
”I love you…”
They smiled and kissed.
It was sweet and savoury-
like a gasp of air in a ocean…
They held the kiss for a while before hearing-
“THATS MY SISTER!!!!!!”
From Goob at the bottom of the hill-
Looey was cheering as Blot covered Jr’s eye…
They laughed softly…together…
