SUMMONED

Summary:

Ais was just chilling with his brothers when he felt himself be pulled away from them before his consciousness faded into black.

Notes:

Yes, I know I already did something like this with ANACHRONISM and SHATTERING.

Chapter 1: I'm hungry

Chapter Text

“You know that this is a bunch of hogwash, right?” Halilintar said, eyeing his younger brothers like they had collectively lost their minds.

The royal princes of Belrose were in the royal library after Blaze had found a book about magic.

Halilintar and Solar had called straight bull the moment they heard their ipad kid brother say he went to the “library”.

Gempa was dragged along by Taufan, mainly because he finds it funny and he likes to humor his brothers.

Ais wasn't even given a choice as he been sleeping in the library and was woken up when he thrown off his comfy cushion.

Tables shoved aside. Chairs stacked haphazardly. Chalk markings defiling polished wood.

And in the center?

Duri and Taufan, crouched like suspicious little gremlins instead of princes, drawing symbols that honestly looked… way too good for something this stupid.

Halilintar pinched the bridge of his nose. “I leave you all unattended for one afternoon.”

“And we thrive,” Taufan chimed.

“You devolve,” Solar corrected immediately.

“Same thing,” Taufan shrugged.

“Big brother Blaze, Big brother Taufan, Big brother Duri, I thought you were all old enough to differentiate reality from fiction. Guess I gave you three to much credit.” Solar chuckled from where he was standing between Gempa and Ais.

“You makin’ fun of us, pipsqueak?” Blaze asked, turning to glare at the youngest.

The other scoffed. “No, never. What kind of younger brother would I be if I insulted my brother's creative mind.”

“If you asked me, he could do a little less creativity.” Halilintar says as he and the youngest shared a chuckle.

Blaze crossed his arms. “Can you geniuses shut up and let us cook?”

“Oh, you’re cooking?” Ais muttered from where he crouched on the floor. “Because it smells like failure.”

Blaze was about to fire back with an insult of his own before the third prince stepped in between them.

Gempa clapped his hands lightly. “Alright, alright—everyone just calm down. No insulting, no fighting—”

Blaze and Ais immediately glared at each other.

“—minimal insulting,” Gempa corrected.

Duri was drawing some more symbols on the wooden floor with some chalk as Taufan instructed him.

“Come on you guys, it wouldn't hurt to try, right? Humor us a little.” Taufan laughed.

“Ha ha ha.” Ais laughed sarcastically. “There. I laughed, can I go back to bed now?” Already preparing to leave this circus.

Blaze wasn't having that. “You ain't going anywhere until you put in some more gusto.” He says as he grabbed his twin by the back of his collar.

“I honestly don't believe in this stuff, but you have to give where credit is due; my art is as sublime as ever.” Duri says with a grin, going all >:3.

Taufan rolled his eyes, adjusting his hold on the book. “Humble as ever, I see.”

“You know I only say straight facts.” The boy in green rebutted, though he wasn't all that insulted.

Solar decides to ask the important question. “Is this even safe? What ‘spell’ did you monkeys choose?”

Blaze pointed his nose up, as if he had been waited for this question. “Glad you asked, baby bro.” He says as he swiped the book from Taufan. “It's a summoning spell.”

“Summoning? What are you trying to summon?” Gempa asked, tilting his head.

“A new personality?” Halilintar piped up.

“Intelligence?” Solar added.

“Good looks?” Ais scoffed.

“No, no, and hey! I'm already good looking.” Blaze huffed.

“Keep lying to yourself.” Ais rolled his eyes, crossing his arms.

Blaze stuck his tongue out at his twin. “Anyways,” He began before he flipped the book onto them. “We are going to summon someone from another world! We're doing some Isekai here.”

Halilintar and the ones with working braincells looked at him skeptically.

Halilintar sighed. “This is the stupidest shit I've heard, and what a surprise it came from you.”

“Hey! From me, Taufan and Duri! This is a group effort.” Blaze complained.

“Don't lump as in with you, we are but helpless accomplices, not the brains of the operation.” Taufan says, wagging his finger as Duri nodded beside him.

“Do you even know who you're summoning?” Gempa asked.

Solar cut in. “Before that, did you idiots even think this through.”

“We'll worry about the details later.” The hot head replied.

“I'd prefer it you worry about the details now, saves you the headache..” Cake Ais's lazy drawl.

Halilintar nodded. “I'm with him. As much as I believe that this is still straight bullshit, you with your pea-sized brain should think of the before and after.”

“Actions have consequences, Blaze.” Gempa added, already preparing to go on a lecture before Blaze interrupted with a loud groan.

“Ugh, we'll get to that when we get to that.” He then turned to Duri. “Duri, almost finished?”

“Finished.” The second youngest replied as he added the final touches before standing up and clapping away the chalk dust on his hands.

The others gathered around it.

“Amazing vandalism.” Ais says bluntly.

“You say vandalism, I say potatoe.”

Solar turned to him. “Those don't even have anything to do with each other—”

“Quiet now, nerd.” Blaze cut him off, which earned him a frustrated huff. “Taufan, what's next?”

Taufan looked over at the book. “Uh, we just have to place an item and say a dumb phrase.”

“How original.” Taufan heard the eldest say but didn't acknowledge it.

“So, what's the item?” Gempa asked him.

Taufan looked around, saw Ais's whale plush on his napping spot, grabbed it and threw it in the middle of the circle.

“Why mine?” Ais lazily protested.

“It was the closest.” The other shrugged.

“Now.” Taufan showed the guys the page and pointed his finger to the phrase as they all stood infront of the magic circle. “Through time, through space, through walls un—uh—torn? …yeah, that sounds right.”

“Just say it louder, maybe it can’t hear you!” Blaze grinned.

Solar rolled his eyes. “Give me that.“ He takes the book and scoffs at how easy the words were.

From distant worlds,

We call a soul across the night.

Through space and time, we open the way—

Let fate decide who comes today.

Hear our voices, heed our call,

Cross the void and stand before us all!”

Silence.

Thick. Awkward. Painfully long.

Halilintar slowly crossed his arms. “…Well?”

Taufan blinked. “Wait for it.”

“I have been waiting,” Halilintar replied. “For my patience to run out.”

Ais yawned loudly. “Can I go now or do you want me to stay for the sequel where nothing still happens?”

Blaze frowned. “It’s supposed to—”

CRACK.

A faint spark of blue flickered across the circle.

Everyone froze.

“…Did that just—” Gempa started.

CRACKLE.

This time louder.

The symbols lit up, glowing an eerie blue as electricity danced across the lines.

“Oh,” Taufan whispered. “…oh that’s new.”

“Amazing observation, want a medal?” Solar sarcastically asked.

The air shifted—heavy, charged.

“Everyone back,” Halilintar ordered immediately, stepping in front of the younger ones.

Too late.

The light exploded.

“GET DOWN!” Gempa shouted—

KABOOM

Silence.

Then—

“…ow.”

Ais was the first to speak.

Smoke filled the air, thick and choking. Debris scattered everywhere—books, wood splinters, half-burnt pages drifting like snow.

“…Is everyone okay?” Gempa coughed, pushing himself up.

“I think my soul left my body,” Taufan wheezed from somewhere on the floor.

“Good. Stay that way,” Halilintar muttered, groaning as he sat up.

Blaze pushed off a broken chair, shaking soot out of his hair. “Okay—okay—so—minor setback—”

“Minor?!” Solar snapped, his voice hoarse. “You blew up the library! Do you know how much ancient history there is here? Father's going to kill us!”

“I didn’t mean to!”

“That doesn’t make it better!”

Duri coughed, waving smoke away. “…On the bright side, the circle worked?”

“We don’t even know that! And there's no bright side to this!” Solar yelled.

Heavy footsteps echoed outside.

Halilintar’s head snapped toward the door. “…Great.”

The doors BURST open.

“You Highnesses!”

Royal knights flooded in, weapons drawn, eyes scanning the destruction.

“Stand down!” Halilintar barked immediately, though he was still half-covered in dust. “We are unharmed.”

“Unharmed?” one knight repeated, staring at the wreckage.

“…Relatively,” Gempa amended.

Taufan coughed. “Yeah, we’re like… eighty percent intact.”

“Seventy,” Ais corrected.

“Sixty,” Duri muttered.

Solar pointed at them. “We are not doing percentages right now!”

The smoke began to thin.

Slowly.

Painfully.

And that’s when one of the knights froze.

“…Your Highness.”

His voice was tight.

“…There’s… someone there.”

Everyone stilled.

“What?” Gempa frowned.

The knights raised their rifles—aimed directly at the magic circle, specifically at the stranger.

Halilintar’s expression hardened instantly. “Hold your fire.”

“But—”

“I said hold.”

The princes turned.

And there—

At the center of the ruined circle.

Sitting amidst the fading glow.

Was a figure.

Slouched slightly. Unmoving.

Wearing a glowing blue jacket that flickered faintly with leftover energy.

“…No way,” Taufan whispered.

Blaze blinked. “…We actually—”

“Shut up,” Solar said immediately, eyes locked onto the figure.

Gempa stepped forward slightly. “Hey… can you hear us?”

Halilintar grabbed his wrist immediately. “Gempa, we're not even sure he's safe and if he can speak our language.”

No response.

The figure shifted.

Just barely.

A groan.

Then slowly—

He lifted his head.

Messy hair.

Familiar face.

Half-lidded, dazed eyes scanning the room… the knights… the princes..

Before promptly—

THUD.

He collapsed forward, unconscious.

Silence.

Complete silence.

Every single prince stared.

Unblinking.

Processing.

Failing to process.

Then—

Ais pointed at the body.

“…Me!?”
