He might be a lot to handle sometimes but his heart is in the right place. He would never try to hurt her.

Have you ever felt sad? Lonely? Or just this feeling like nothing in your life is complete? He is someone who… he doesn’t exactly cure that feeling but he understands. He likes to help people.

Chapter 1: Him

Chapter Text

She was around with a backpack and money In her pockets. She looked around as she walked. At first nobody was there. There were just shadows behind her or she thought, she wasn’t paying attention. She walked for a block or so here and there and left and right—all over. She saw a group of men were in front of her.

“Um… excuse me, please.”
“Where are you going? Pretty.”
“I’m just walking around. You know… it goes as far as the bananas grow. Ummm… hahagghh.”
“You could walk with us… if you don’t have a ride. Or we could call your parents.”
“I don’t have parents! They… ugghh, I… we don’t speak of it. I don’t have a father, he’s gone.”

“It’s alright. Let’s walk.”
“I think I’ll just go that way.” She turned around. a group was behind her.

She felt ambiguous, it was a small cramped like feeling. She hadn’t even saw them before. They weren’t there. She was just walking. Just walking alone like she’s been doing for months. They came out of nowhere.

“Let’s just walk.”
“Can you let me get by? Excuse me!”
“It’s alright let’s walk together it’s fine.”

She continued walking, her hands shook as she walked—this wasn’t real. Surely they would have to go at some point, right—as they walked she just looked down at the ground. Like she sometimes did.

“Why are you not letting me go?”
“What do you mean? Your funny. We aren’t trapping you. We just really want to walk with you is all.”

“But you didn’t let me go when I said excuse me.”
“Oh. You said that. I just thought that you were sneezing.”
“I made it clear, I thought.”
“Look if you really want to go we will move. We weren’t blocking you. We just wanted to walk with you. Here, go ahead of us.” He said, going out of the way. She paused, confused. She just stared not moving.

She looked at him. “What? Are you shy? You know I can fix that?”

“Wh-what?” She asked. She just looked at them. A blank stare. “Ugh… okay, I guess.” She said shyly.

“I just mean. I like you a lot and you seem nice. I guess what I’m saying is you could stay with us. We could help you become more confident. Ugh… whatever, guys let’s go.”

As they left her face left her body. She stared at them before looking back. Wait! No! She didn’t want them to leave. Who knows if she would find a friend or someone to talk to. She needed them. Someone.

“Wait! Don’t go.” She said.

“What’s the matter?”
“I… I… it’s just. I don’t know it feels better with others.”
“I told you we weren’t trying to trap you. Just a friendly walk. Of course we would love to walk with you. We enjoy walking with people. It’s fun. We meet all kinds of friends that way.”
