“I think that’s it, everybody.”
D3rlord3’s soft murmur rings out quietly. The only sound that can be heard apart from his voice are the clicks of his mouse as he runs around mindlessly in game, placing down block after block, “Thank you for coming to the stream.”
The chat immediately protests, choruses of NOOOO and DON’T END YET flooding the screen in such fast waves that it’s hard to pick one out and read. D3rlord3 huffs out a laugh.

D3rlord3 hums, contemplating. “Maybe not. I have something planned soon, though. You’ll see.”

The mouse stops clicking. D3rlord3’s character stops moving, facing the screen now. “Alright.” he says. His character crouches once.
“Goodbye, everybody. Thank you for today.”
The chat flies by furiously with goodbyes before the Minecraft screen closes in on itself, and then a final click. The screen that shows up is D3lord3’s familiar homescreen that fans have grown to memorize. A Minecraft moving landscape that changes from night to day. Right now, it’s in the middle of a sunset, the monitor enveloped in orange and warmth.

The streamer in question is completely silent. Aside from the quiet shuffling of movement there’s no real way to tell what he’s doing. The chat is half-laughing and half-screaming for his attention, genuinely worried for how long it’ll go unnoticed for.
The sound of a chair creaking echoes through the room. D3rlord3 sighs like he might have just stretched, the quiet clack of what sounds like a phone hitting the table.
There’s a sound from the far corner of the room, most of the viewers already have their volumes all the way up but none of them can really make out what it is. D3rlord3’s chair creaks quietly again when he moves, sounds shuffling almost silently, “C’mere.”
Now that was clear. There’s no real way to read the chat given how fast it’s going, because of the entirely new knowledge that’s come to light that famous streamer D3rlord3 seems to be talking with someone. Better yet, living with someone. Someone close enough to be allowed in his room. Someone that might have been meant to be a secret. Something that's currently being broadcasted to a live audience of around 20k viewers.
When it doesn’t seem to get any worse, it does. D3rlord3 moves, but the direction is unclear, his voice leaning away from the mic, but unmistakable as it sighs, voice softer than anyone’s ever heard it—
“Hi, baby.”

The murmuring doesn’t stop, soft and gentle, but quiet enough that people can’t really pick up on the voice, can’t tell if it’s still D3rlord3 talking or they mystery person that seems to have entered. Unless there’s really nobody in the room? Is he just on the phone? That doesn’t—seem right. Not at all.
A phone buzzing cuts through the audio, sounding so close to his mic. Fabrics rustle indistinctly until the buzzing stops a little farther than before. They hear the click of a mouse. Once. Twice.
“Whoops.” D3rlord3 says, up close this time, and it—sounds like he’s smiling? Stoic, indifferent, prioritize my privacy D3rlord3 smiling? After finding out he’s basically been broadcasting all this time?
Whoops.
The screen goes black. No audio lingers, and visuals from D3rlord3’s desktop are gone instantly. The stream ends, leaving fans gawking at their monitors.
Naturally, his viewers flood to Twitter.

So. It’s no real secret what the people are dying to know.
HI BABY impressively goes trending for another hour after the stream before D3rlord3 responds. It’s incredibly generous for someone who rarely uses social media outside of formal announcements and the occasional art retweet.. It’s incredibly generous for D3rlord3 period, who lets most trending and pressing questions about him die off, never addressed. It is also an incredibly agonizing wait.
..It’s not what anyone is expecting though.

TheMostMayo is one of the few people D3rlord3 consistently plays with. He’s the only person D3rlord3 plays as much as he does with. Ever since D3rlord3 started streaming and even before he had garnered an impressive fanbase from appearances in SMP’s and build contributions, Mayo had always been more or less in the background of his streams, talking exclusively through chat, and faceless just like D3rlord3. Not much else is known about him outside of that, no separate youtube or streaming channels he’s ever linked to himself despite desperate requests from his fans to do so. He’s been a fan favorite since his first appearance. If you knew D3rlord3, you were bound to know Mayo. There was no knowing one with the other.
