Iruka paused by his classroom door. The door was open the width of his thumb when he’d left it pulled fully closed. None of the Academy staff would have made that mistake. And his students left the door wide open when they arrived so they could come and go before classes started.
Iruka leaned against the wall to focus on the sounds coming from inside the room. Oh, he thought when one student hissed “Stop it!” at the others in the room, his students had decided to play a prank on him.
Well, he had a lesson plan for that.
