The blonde was staring at himself, his profile taken when he was sitting on a window sill, It felt nostalgic,sad, and emotional. He didn't expect Eiji to put up pictures of him, He really messed up. Suddenly, his phone rang, it was Sing. Why would he call Ash on a random saturday? ''Ash.. I..cant do this anymore, Eiji is too depressed to even get out of bed nowadays. , and..I saw him almost cut himself too.. Please, Ash, stop standing there spying and do something! I..cant stand seeing my best friend like this..." Sing begged, his voice was shaky. Ash was hesitating as they talked for a little more. But he eventually obliged.
"Fine.. Im on my way."
" thanks, I'll leave you two alone for the night, Im going to Yut Lung to give you guys space to talk."He hung up the call and put on his grey hoodie and was on his way to his apartment.
"Hey, Eiji. Im going to meet with Yut Lung, he just arrived from Hong Kong, I think I'll be back soon. I also think you should take a walk outside,dont you think?'' (connected to saturday night)" hmm..yeah, thanks for the suggestion." Sing waved bye at Eiji before leaving his apartment.
A bit after Sing left, Eiji decided to change his clothes before taking a late night walk, taking his camera with him to capture city night lights. As he left the apartment, it started to snow. Eiji put out his hand to catch a snowflake.
It was chilly, empty and snow falling from the night sky was perfect for a night walk.. He grabbed his camera to capture the streetwalk infront of him, but a silhouette was blocking the way, a familiar figure, as tall as his old best friend. he squinted his eyes observed his face a bit more. Ash's name flooded his mind. As he walked past him. He built the courage to say his name, he looked back to the said man.
"Aslan?" The other man stiffened as he called his name, he actually recognized him even after all this time.
Eiji rushed towards the guy. "Aslan!" He shouted in a broken sob.
The Japanese took his shoulder to turn him around and face him. His eyes were fogged with tears as he gazed into green eyes. "Please tell me im not dreaming, Ash.."
"You aren't." He whispered
"You stubborn bastard!" He cried out, lightly slapping his chest. He leaned into his friends chest, tears stained his shirt.
"Do you know how much i missed you?! Did you know how hurt i was when i heard you passed? ..God, I missed you so much i couldn't even come near the library knowing you bled there.." His voice trailed off as he cried into the blondes chest.
"Eiji.." he whispered, he rested his head onto the smaller man, petting his hair aswell.
"I'm so sorry, Eiji. I thought.. I thought it was the best for you if i did this. I thought you wouldn't live a miserable life if i wasn't in it.. I guess i was wrong, Sing told me you were about to hurt yourself.. I figured it was best to finally show up..." He grabbed the smaller mans face,
"Sing knew?..'' Asked by the man with his cheeks covered with tears. He gently wiped them off with his thumb; caressing his baby face as he gazed into his misty brown eyes.
"Yeah.. And I'm sorry i didn't go to you sooner..'' He mumbled.
"Y-yeah.. You should've! You idiot!.." Ash chuckled at Eiji's reply.
Still stroking his long hair softly, and he wondered why he grew out his hair
"Are you mad at me?" Ash questioned
"What kind of question is that? Of course I'm mad at you, but I can't stay mad at you, I miss you too much. " The word's didn't feel like enough to estimate how much he longed for Ash. He fixed his gaze on the taller man. His face was so.. Breathtaking like before, a bit more mature now, but.. God, he missed his face, he missed Ash, he missed Aslan.
"Im sorry, I.. I have no right to be here with you." Ash turned away, but Eiji pulled him closer
"Dont leave again.." He pleaded as he looked at Ash with eyes that Ash couldn't resist.
Ash brushed his thumb over Eiji's lips, leaning in a bit closely until they feel their each others breathing—he hesitated before leaning in more closer and waited for the other mans reaction for permission. "Im fine, black coffee will do." He answered as he petted Buddy. Eiji pouted as he watched.
"What, you jealous?" He teased with a smug look on his face. Eiji rolled his eyes and turned away, his back facing the blonde
"Come here" Ash patted on his lap and Eiji quickly obliged. Eiji straddled his lap at took a peek at Ash's eyes before hugging him for warmth.

Eiji moved his head back to look at Ash, before quickly pecked his lips and gave him a bright smile.

"Wash my hair?"

"I know I said I wouldn't ask for forever." Ash whispered. "But I take it back" Eiji chuckled, and Ash joined in, he felt happiness wash over him, he always felt the waves happen when he's with Eiji.

"Let's go to Japan, maybe to my hometown aswell, If you want."
Ash blinked at his words, but he agreed. He really wanted to see the country his lover was from.
"Sure, I'd love to see the country you grew up in." He smiled, Eiji took a peek at Ash over his shoulders, he smiled back when he saw him.
After taking a bath and drying their bodies off, they laid in silence, laying on their sides as they gazed into eachothers eyes, they enjoyed eachothers presence, it was warm and peaceful.
Ash wanted to feel his warmth, so he tucked himself in Eiji's arms as he nuzzled against his chest. The Japanese wrapped his arms around him, feeling even more warm, he loved it, he loved Eiji.
"Ash?"
"Hm?"
"Goodnight." He pressed a light kiss on his boyfriends hair
"Goodnight Eiji."
They drifted off to sleep, succumbing into Eachothers warmth.
