Work Text:
Your blind date was going terribly. A coworker had set you up with her mother’s-cousin’s-friend’s-son or something like that. Little did you know it would end up being with your high school nemesis. Okay “nemesis” was too strong of a word for what Keeho was to you. He was never actually a bully or even mean but you did not get along. You were a shy introverted person and he was loud and outgoing. You just never meshed well.
“I don’t understand why you’re so upset to see me. You totally had a crush on me in school,” he declares in the same smug tone you knew back then.
Some things never change you think and then actually process what he said.
“Liked you?!! I never ‘liked you’! I despised you,” You practically spit at him, leaning forward on the edge of the table.
“Woah, okay!” he says raising his hands up palms out toward you like he was surrendering, before narrowing his eyes at you “Then why did I always catch you staring at me? Hmmm?”
“Everyone stared at you, Keeho,” You say with a roll of your eyes leaning back in your chair. “You were a LOUD kid!”
“Well, what’s your excuse now?” He says his tone still teasing, “You haven’t been able to take your eyes off me since I got here.”
Fuck. You hated to admit it but you had been staring. Puberty had served him well and he had grown into a gorgeous man.
Your lack of an answer causing a smug smile to settle on his lips.
“Yeahhhh, that’s what I thought,” he says with a click of his tongue before running it over his top teeth.
The waiter who had been hovering nearby waiting for an opening in your bickering approaches the table.
“Can I get you two anything to drink?”
“Wine,” you both say in tandem. Your eyes locking together.
“Order whatever you want, babe” he says with a wink, leaning back in his chair slinging one elbow over the top of it.
“A bottle of red please, nothing too dry. Thanks” you plaster a fake smile on as you order.
His use of ‘babe’ had made you bristle mostly because you hated that it sent a jolt of heat straight to your core.
There were a long few minutes of silence while you waited, feeling his heavy gaze raking over your features. Attempting to match his confidence you did the same to him.
He was wearing all black, the dark tone setting off his honeyed skin making it glow. His bleached hair was pushed back off his forehead allowing you to see his sharp dark eyes fully taking you in.
Your eyes danced greedily over his face the low lighting of the restaurant playing prettily over his high cheekbones and the plush cupids bow of his lips.
The waiter returned pouring glasses for you both before setting the bottle in the middle of the table. You look down and away from Keeho letting out the breath you didn’t realize you were holding. The heat of a blush creeping into your cheeks.
“I always thought the way you blushed was cute,” he says looking at you over the rim of his wine glass before taking a long sip.
You hurriedly grab yours and gulp half of it down hoping it would help you relax. The wine proved to be just what you needed to get comfortable. However It also had the unfortunate side effect of adding fuel to the firey heat pooling in your lower belly.
Some time and a few glasses of wine later you excuse yourself to freshen up. Running your hands under the cool stream of water you press the damp back of a hand to your forehead. The cooler temperature refreshing on your wine warmed face your mind racing.
Did you like him?
It was probably the wine right?
Shit you might like like him.
Leaving the restroom you collide with someone in the hallway outside the door and stumble large hands gripping you at the waist catch you. your hands pressed up against a firm chest you look up to find keehos face inches from yours.
“I knew I’d get you to fall for me before the night was over” he says looking down at you the glimmer of amusement shining in his eyes.
You groan softly at the cheesy line but the flip in your belly at the closeness can’t be ignored. Without thinking and emboldened by the alcohol you stretch up and press your lips to his. He presses back firmly, his hands still at your waist tugging you flush against his body. Pulling apart you notice a touch of color has settled high on his cheeks too.
“Let’s get out of here” and then he’s tugging you by your hand toward the back door at the end of the hall.
You barely make it to his car stopping every few feet to steal kisses. Some small pecks others face grasping lingering things. Giggling like school children afraid of getting caught.
In the front seat of Keeho’s car your gaze dropped to look at his mouth, you watch as his tongue drags across his plush lower lip to wet them. Swallowing hard at the enticing sight. Then you were diving across the console to meet each other half way.
His tongue slides across your bottom lip and you open easily, greedily welcoming him into your mouth. Feeling the smooth glide of his tongue against yours making you moan. Your tongues continue to dance sending what feels like electricity through you, every nerve a live wire linked straight to your throbbing clit.
Nipping at his bottom lip your hands tangle in his hair, the gel there once keeping it in place now disheveled as you tug at the strands. Every kiss is leaving you both gasping for air, dizzy from the lack of oxygen.
“Ah, shit,” you hear Keeho curse softly during one of these breaks.
The heat from your bodies and fevered kissing have created a light fog over the windows lends a hazy quality to the red and blue light flashing through the car.
“Boujee ass restaurant called the cops on us for making out in the parking lot,” he says letting his head drop back against the headrest.
“Oh. My. God.” You gasp out between fits of giggles.
“It really is the high school experience we never got to have together before huh?” He says laughing along with you.
The cops showing up sobered you both up and after getting let off with a warning and told to move along you decide it’s best you got interrupted when you did. This was only a first date after all.
“Can I see you again?” You ask, both of you now standing beside your vehicle.
“Wow, full one-eighty from the beginning of the night.”
“Well I’m glad I stuck around. Even if we did get the cops called on us.”
“Yes, I would like that very much. Seeing you again I mean, not the cops.” He replies grinning sheepishly at you.
