Chapter Text
Another day of living life as per usual, although to anyone else this would have been far from ordinary. Josh or rather Big Guy(Gee Dive) as he learned to adopt, is the last of his kind. The rest of his kind went up in flames after they killed themselves off in some distant war. While being the last of his species sucks, he is far from alone. He has two wives Kelp (Woomy) and Coral (Veemo). Like any other relationship, it has had its ups and downs, but everything always seems to work itself out in the end. It has been a nice change of pace living recently. Not only does he now have two beautiful wives to keep company and cuddle with, but he also has two lovely children, Clam (Clint) and Algae (Ally). Being the only of their kind they are just as unique as Big Guy both in their biology and their personality. This life has been alien to him as he still tries to figure his way around, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Big Guy was folding clothes with Kelp; he doesn’t have a job so he does the best he can to help around the house. Coral was close by; she was on the couch browsing the channels before settling on one discussing recent turf battles.
“Coral, are you going to help out or are you just gonna lay around all day?” Kelp asked.
“Hey, I was at work all day, you just do lectures.” Coral responded.
“Now come on, the lectures are not that easy. Answer this, what are the main compounds that are found in ink?
“Uhhhhhhhh . . . color?”
“My point stands.”
“Fine, I’ll come over.” Coral groaned.

Once all the clothes were folded up, Josh went over to the kid’s room and saw Clam and Algae playing pretend. Clam was pretending to be a Salmonid as Ally was a worker fending off the Salmonid.
“I got you now! You can’t run away from me!” Algae announced.
“I give up! I give up!” Clam cried.
“Ok you two, let go of each other.” Said Josh.
“Awww, I just had him.” Said Ally.
Clint was silently glad that his dad had come over and rescued him just in time.
“I’m gonna need you two to get ready.”
“What for?” Ally asked.
“I’m going to be taking you over to Hime and Ida’s house. Gonna get you two to do some training.”
“Ok.” Ally complied.
“Yay! I like visiting Ate.” Said Clint.
The two got themselves dressed as he led them out of the house.
“Big Guy is taking the children out.” Coral noted.
“Alright you two, see you later. Be safe.” Said Kelp.
“We will.” Said Clam.
“Bye Mother, bye Mom.” Said Algae.
The two left and hopped on a bus. Big Guy has finally managed to learn how the bus and subway systems work. It was a bit difficult to grasp it at first, but he has a map and he kept track of which stations they stopped at. The bonus was that it was much faster than walking. After the trip, they made it to the residence of Off the Hook. They have known these artists for quite some time, from past connections to more recent events; they were effectively family friends. He knocked on the door and it open to Pearl and Marina on the other side.
“Oh you showed up now. Sweet.” Said Pearl.
“Hello Clam, Algae, Big Guy. It is nice to see you all.” Said Marina.
Big Guy did a simple wave. “Yep, I drop off.”
Eight came around excitedly to see her two cousins.
“Cousins!” Eight yelled.
““Eight!”” Clam and Algae yelled.
They all ran into a group hug but only Eight and Clam participated in the full hug.
“Alright you two, I will come back to pick you up later. I don’t want to hear that you two got in trouble. Understand?” Said Josh.
“We won’t.” Said Clint.
“Ok.”
Josh waved goodbye to them all before heading back to his residence.

Back at his house Josh was greeted to a very clingy Coral.
“Hey Big Guy. You’ve been gone for a while. Nice to have you back.” Coral said as she leaned against him her tentacles wrapping around his neck and face.
Josh recognized how she was talking. Her tone was arousing and she had a look in her eyes. She only gets like this when she is feeling for something more than cuddling.
‘Oh boy.’ Josh thought to himself.
“The squidos aren’t here which mean we have the entire house to ourselves.”
Coral then began to drag Big Guy around the house.
“Now where is Kelp, cuddling is a team project after all.”
Coral eventually found Kelp at a table grading papers.
“There you are. Come on love, I want to cuddle.” Coral said as she dragged Kelp.
“Coral hold on I’m busy.” Kelp protested.
“Nope. You dragged me off the couch earlier today and now I’m dragging you to the bed.”
Coral plopped the two on the bed and she squirmed her way between the two.
“See? Isn’t this nice?” Coral asked.
“I guess it is.”
“It is.” Coral correct as she kissed Kelp on the lips.
“Any you know what’s the best part? We have the entire house to ourselves, so we don’t have to be quiet about it.” Coral said wiggling her eyebrows.
Kelp became embarrassed her face turning red.
Big Guy just accepted it and wrapped an arm around the two.
“What are you two waiting for? Let’s get this show on the road.” Coral said as she took off her clothes exposing her skin.
“Coral!” Kelp said her face a maroon with embarrassment and arousement.
‘Oh ok we’re already going in.’ Big Guy thought to himself as he was getting his shirt off.
As Big Guy was taking his shirt off, a phone on top of a drawer started to ring. Kelp went to investigate and found it was from the Professor.
“Hold on I got to take this.”
“Oh come on.” Said an annoyed Coral.
“Hello?” Kelp asked.
“KELP!! COME BACK TO THE INSTITUTION AND BRING BIG GUY!!”
Kelp was startled by the sudden yelling and stumbled, nearly dropping her phone.
“Slow down! I can’t understand what you are saying. Why are you yelling, is there an emergency?”
Big Guy and Coral leaned in trying to make out what the conversation, but it was too jumbled to make out anything.
“What do you mean others?”
Big Guy and Coral watch in confusion and concern as Kelp’s eyes went wide and her jaw dropped.
“You better not be messing with me, are you serious?”
“What’s going on? Tell him that he’s interrupting our cuddle time.” Said Coral.
“Ok. I understand, we’ll be right there. Goodbye.” Kelp said as she hanged up the phone. “Get ready we’re going to the institute.”
“What!? We were just getting started. Is it really that important?” Coral asked.
“They found another one.” Kelp responded.
“Another what?”
“Human! They found another human!” Kelp said with a wide smile across her face.
Coral’s jaw dropped.
“You’re squidding.”
“I am not. That’s why we need to go. Come on Big Guy there are people we need to see.”
Big Guy was not entirely sure what was going on but he could see that Kelp and Coral were pretty excited, so it was off to wherever they needed to go.
