After a long day at the bakery, Yuji Itadori opened the door to his shared apartment, with his roommate Megumi.
Megumi was still at work, since the animals at the veterinary needed him.
Usually that didn't matter, but today Yuji kinda missed him.
Yuji worked in this small bakery that Nobara had recommended him originally as a hidden gem, but after a while of going there to get cookies, he eventually started to work there. The bakery was a peaceful place that smelled like vanilla and was warm most of the time, and today, this old lady had come to the bakery, asking for a chocolate muffin. Of course, Yuji quickly grabbed the muffin he baked with lots of passion, giving it to the lady, and taking her money.
After a few minutes, the woman came back to the register, with only two bites of the muffin taken out of it. The pink-haired boy thought that maybe she'd compliment on how good the muffin was or something, smiling, only to be received with insults about his muffin. Now usually, he wouldn't get sad about someone insulting his baking- it's happened many times. But it hadn't happened in a long time, and he had gotten accustomed to getting positive reviews about his baking. It did not hurt his feelings terribly, but it still hurt just a little bit to have someone insult how he baked a muffin, which, they were very good according to literally everyone that has tried them.
After his incident with the lady, he kept on working, but it still stuck with him, just a little. After getting home, he was thinking of texting Megumi, to see how much until he got home, but he aborted the mission, considering Megumi had told him that there was this very sick husky that had to get multiple procedures done on her, so he was probably working on that, or another turtle or whatever.
Eventually, he got hungry and made some ramen, adding a lot of spice to it just because he wanted, getting bored after eating it. He even considered talking with Sukuna to pass the time, but he refrained himself from doing so since he NEVER does. Later, he was having fun playing some random game on the computer, when suddenly, there was a key sounding, and the door opened. It was Megumi!
Y: You're back!
M: Yea, i'm tired though, i'm going to sleep.
Y: Alright..
Yuji was a little dissapointed- he understood where Megumi was coming from; working all day, and staying there past the time you're supposed to clock out because the same dog just wanted to get sick AGAIN. But he wanted to chat with Megumi for a bit, they haven't talked all that much in the last couple of days because they're both exhausted from work.
Following that, Yuji took a shower, going to bed as well. Megumi on the other hand, woke up right as Yuji went to sleep. Megumi also wanted to hang out with Yuji, but was too nervous to ask him since he’d been working some extra shifts at the bakery lately and didn’t want to piss him off just like Yuji did with him, and he had the idea to text Nobara to maybe hang out together with Yuji.

Yuji woke up after his nap, feeling lost. Megumi was watching some boring show, or trying to find something to watch before he slept again. Megumi was a really big sleeper. Yuji walked into the living room, sitting next to Megumi.
Y: You woke up?
M: Yea, for a while now.
Y: You know today i had this really mean customer, and (he just explained everything that went on with the muffins)
M: That’s really mean. If it was me I would’ve said they were good even if i’ve never tried them.
Y: But you haven’t tried them though..
M: Yea, that’s what i said.
Y: Sorry..
M: It’s alright. By the way I talked with Nobara so we can hang out tomorrow, but she specified doesn’t wanna watch Human Earthworm.
Y: Well that sucks. But I can hang out tomorrow!
As Megumi was scrolling on the Netflix that they had gotten from some random stranger on the Internet that had other profiles like “Chelsea” and “Jonathan” rather than just “Yuji” and “Megumi” (which Yuji would change Megumi’s name and icon every now and then to mess with him), they found some weird documentary about cats.
Y: You don’t wanna watch this one? It’s all about cats!
M: Yuji, that’s boring. I’m not watching that, we don’t even have a cat!
Y: We could get one for free at the animal shelter?
M: We both work all day, who’s gonna take care of it?
Y: Fine..
After finally watching something, which was the Jeffery Dahmer documentary (since they were both strangely into true crime), they both went to sleep.
