"Good evening, Mom," Teen greeted their mother. It was 1:25 PM when they went into their house, but the trip back home was worth it.
"Good evening, my big kid!" their mom replied. "How was school today?"
"It was tiring but fun!"
"Very well!"
"By the way, I have homework today!" Teen added. "I should do it now, shouldn't I?"
Then they frowned sadly.
"What's wrong?" asked Teen's mom. "Tell me the truth."
"I'm too tired to do that. Can I rest for a bit?" Teen asked their mom.
"All right."
"Thanks, mom!"
Teen went up to their bedroom.
