What if Lloyd was left alone far longer after the merge? Lloyd spent a year without anyone, and then he met Sora and Arin.
Lloyd has taken to being a sensei, and 7 years go by.
He now has a group of students who live in the monastery. Morro, who he had asked to train Euphrasia, also lives at the Monastery.
As Master Wu once said, the best way to defeat your enemy was to make them your friend. And Morro wasn't just a friend, he was family now.
Morro had been a crucial component to Lloyd accepting his role as a Sensei. When Lloyd first met the kids, his mental health hadnt been the best, possibly even worse then when he was being hunted by his—
Doesn't matter, point is, Morro had actually helped Lloyd. Apparently, Morro had taken up an important role in the departed realm before he arrived at the monastery.
It went like this. Someone asked Morro if he knew where the Ninja were. Morro, confused ask why he would know.
"Because their dead?" The new ghost asked. And so, Morro promptly freaked out, took a leave of absence, and went Ninja hunting.
He didnt find any if the others, and had only accidentally stumbled on Lloyd.
The monastery hadnt had any guest after the first few months. The Ninja were MIA and Lloyd hadnt revealed himself to the public yet. He only went out to get food when it was necessary. So, Lloyd was alone in his feels most of the time.
He felt pathetic not being able to find his teammates or solve what caused the merge. He had been getting these migraines,and with how painful they could get, would occasionally pass out from them.
One morning, Lloyd had bumped into a shelf while suffering through a particularly painful migraine. He passed out, covered in scrolls.
Morro found him, what they both assumed was hours later, as he was searching for some clues. Not having seen anyone at the monastery, he was hoping maybe Wu had information on anything useful.
He dug Lloyd out and waited for him to wake up. They argued, Morro and him had a slight tussle. And Morro left not knowing he had knocked some actual reason into Lloyd.
A few months later, Lloyd sought out Morro with the kids and convinced him to return to the monastery with them.
