Between Qin Shi Huang and Poseidon, it will be up to the one who has the worst behavior to prove his superiority, except that given the fact that it’s not because you have a strong character that you’re the one controlling everything around you, the two men are forced to rub shoulders with each other on a daily basis, then making the decision to hold a contest to find out which one will have the title of exasperating deity, and this even though Qin Shi Huang is not even divine, which does not seem to bother him at all.
To be honest, it’s a simple contest; it’s going to be decided by the one with the most charisma, to the point that others would rather vote for him than for the other. The two manage to campaign, recruiting many people to vote for them, which ends up surprising Poseidon when he discovers that just because Qin Shi Huang is a mere human does not mean he has less influence than him, in view of the fact that they ultimately have a fairly similar number of faithful. A situation that is seriously starting to annoy him, especially since he can’t stand the idea of being put on the same level as a mortal.
In view of the fact that they have an almost perfect equality, their competition has been extended by a few days, during which both must hold a final public debate. Except that, truly desiring to obtain victory and being ready to do anything to achieve it, Qin Shi Huang kissed Poseidon just before going on stage, disturbing him to the point that Poseidon has many times stammered and mixed up his words, thus offering him victory. Qin Shi Huang is obviously proud of his strategy, while the God is deeply disappointed to have lost so cowardly. Thinking that, even if it’s not the greatest of all, it’s better to go out with the one who stole victory from him so as not to have completely lost everything.
Trying to hit on him, although he is very bad at it and his first attempts are far from convincing, Poseidon ends up fed up after a few weeks, telling himself that he’s much better than that. He then decides to go and win at home with the firm intention of leaving by being in a relationship with him. Qin Shi Huang does not really understand, at the moment, why Poseidon came to see him with so much determination, until he was kissed, everything becoming much clearer in an instant. After all, they fought each other, they were opponents, so now they can be in love.
This relationship started in the first place with zero feelings, having simply developed a certain friendship when they were thinking about each other. Over time, realizing that they were ultimately very similar, narcissistic feelings drove them to fall in love with each other without even realizing it. They have thus become both the most dysfunctional couple, but also one of the most united, not really knowing where all this is going to lead them, if it’s only that both enjoy a lot in this relationship for the least particular.
