Thanks for reading! I don’t own any of Harry Potter! I hope you enjoy!

It was no secret that Harriet Potter had spent her brief life waiting.
Waiting for a family to love her.
Waiting for a proper home.
Waiting to finally end Voldemort’s reign of terror.
Few knew that what she really had been waiting on was an opportunity to aid the man she loved.
From the moment she had laid eyes on him, even as a child, she had fallen instantly, ridiculously, reasonlessly in love with Severus Snape.
His dark, brooding stare had beckoned her.
The mystery of his long, flowing cloak enthralled her.
As she watched him protect, guide, and mentor her over the years that followed, her affections had only grown deeper.
To her dismay, Severus remained aloof and detached, untouchable and unreachable.
It was Harriet who had saved his life during the Battle of Hogwarts, treating his wounds on the spot and ensuring he had been graciously brought to Madam Pomfrey’s swift attention.
Severus had no family or friends, as such, it was Harriet who had kindly volunteered to see to his care after the war.
The past few weeks had been filled with awkward silences and lingering scowls, but Harriet had kept a wry smile of patience on her face the entire time.
She didn’t mind how much he berated her, she was only glad to simply be in his prescense.
His home at Spinner’s End was old and rather dingy, but Harriet had done her best to make it as cozy and inviting as possible.
Sometimes while Severus napped, she had even enjoyed the guilty pleasure of raising the blankets he had recently used to her face.
The scent of the man she wanted as her alpha was a comfort in itself, a way to be close to him without physical touch.
The brace on his neck had been changed to a simple bandage as his healing had progressed.
Although he still wore bruises and scars, he was able to move around on his own once more.
Harriet had already dreaded the moment he would tell her he no longer needed her services, but as she brought his lunch tray up to his room one afternoon, her eyes widened.
Severus had not been able to work on his potions since before the battle.
Rut suppressants were no longer a part of his daily routine.
A heavy gasp left Harriet’s lips as that beguiling, intoxicating scent of a needy alpha hit her fully in the face as soon as she opened his door.
His black eyes snapped over to look at her, cold, cruel, with a scowl that suggested utmost loathing.
Despite his outward display of hatred, Harriet could already feel the heat coiling in her belly.
“Get out.” He growled more than spoke.
Harriet’s mouth fell open as she realized her opportunity.
She sat his lunch tray down on the desk next to the door as she gazed at him, wide-eyed.
“I said GET OUT!” Severus roared, raising his voice in an attempt to scare her out of his sights.
The last thing he needed was-
Harriet raised her hands to slip off her shirt.
Severus’s black eyes narrowed to slits as she quickly unfastened her bra and let her full breasts flop into his hungry view before she reached for her pants.
He was across the room before she saw him move.
One single second later, Harriet grimaced as her back smacked painfully against the wall.
“LEAVE!” Severus shouted in her face.
Behind his mask of resilience, Harriet could see it clearly, the resolve in his dark eyes threatening to crumble.
“I told you to LEAVE!” He hissed as he moved so that his long, hooked nose practically touched hers.
Touch was exactly what he needed and Harriet, on some level at least, instinctively understood.
It was an omega’s nature to nurture their alpha.
Before Severus could command her again, Harriet closed her eyes and pressed a kiss to his lips.
He growled into her affection at first as she wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him close, but as her hands slipped over his chest, he began to let himself feel at last……
Greed.
“You filthy little minx.” Severus drawled in his low, decadent voice as Harriet climbed him like a tree, wrapping her legs around his hips as she pressed her bare breasts to the thick, black fabric of his robes.
“Take me………” Harriet begged the man she loved more life itself, “Please, Professor, take me……….I want you…..”
Severus’s black eyes glimmered with something more than simple arousal as the reality of Harriet’s confession punched him hard.
“I’ve always wanted you……..” Harriet revealed with a gentle smile before she closed her eyes and renewed their kiss.
With Severus caught in the middle of shock and hormones, Harriet spent the rest of the night sore and used.
Her alpha had her against the wall, bent over the desk, and spread wide for him on the bed which he quickly helped her make into a nest.
By morning, Severus slept with a heavy snore as he clutched Harriet on his shoulder as if she were something precious he guarded.
She sighed as she opened her eyes and looked into the morning light.
Harriet Potter was no longer innocent but she was Severus Snape’s new mate……and Severus Snape was hers.

“Breathe, my love, one more deep push……with all that you can.”
Harriet groaned, a horrible, guttural sound, as Severus’s velvet voice gave her those last words of encouragement somewhere.
Her body was pain and pain was her body as she bore down with all she had, the roar that left her lips almost inhuman.
Severus had his new bride’s thigh clutched in his right hand and her hand in his left as he watched, wide-eyed in awe, while his newborn daughter slowly slid into the world.
After being mated for nine months and married for eight, the littlest Snape had been a pleasant surprise for her parents, but seeing her there, screaming and flailing in the midwife's arms while she was handed over to her mother, that tiny baby was a marvel to Severus.
As the midwife began the task of helping Harriet through the last bit of things, Severus gently released his mate’s leg and moved to sit beside her while she held their wriggling baby girl.
“Isn’t she beautiful?” Harriet laughed, her face flush, eyes dark from exhaustion.
“As her mother, my love.” Severus purred as he gazed at his little family, his black eyes shining with loving devotion, “As her mother.”
