Chapter Text

With the villains apprehended, and the heroes successful in their mission, they recovered and celebrated. Eri seemed to be especially happy that she was rescued from her captors, staying by Izuku’s side throughout the whole ordeal.

Unfortunately, with good news also comes bad news, and boy was there really bad news.

“We have confirmed evidence that your student, Izuku Midoriya, is the son of All For One.” The HPSC missionary drops a folder on Nedzu’s meeting room desk, cold and final. Nedzu and the heroes in the room- including All Might- examine the contents of the folder, the photos, the damning evidence that sentences his- their- student to a lifetime of misery.

All of them have frowns on their faces, not in shame of poor Midoriya, but of the HPSC. They should’ve known the evil Commission would come for his successor. Nedzu jerked his head up, an unreadable expression on his face. “And why does this matter? His father doesn’t constitute what he’s like.”

“Well, you see,” the HPSC member- no, missionary- started, smirking; “Clearly he has no control over his Quirk. We want him to be one of our trainees. Get him a little extra training, almost better in comparison to what you guys are doing.”

Nedzu frowned. “You’ll have to ask the student for that. What will his guardians think if you forced him into training?” With that, he realized something, and his expression turned grave. “Midnight, Aizawa, All Might. Find Midoriya. Now.”

The HPSC missionary’s smirk disappeared, and the three called-on teachers rushed out.

Aizawa pulled out his phone while they were running, calling Iida. He picked up promptly. “What do you need, sensei?” Iida asked, worried about being called like this.

“Where’s Midoriya?” he asked, rushing toward the dorms, which now had a bunch of HPSC trucks and members surrounding it. “What are they doing to him?” There was a small pause on the other end.

“Midoriya’s being taken by people calling themselves the ‘HPSC’. Uraraka and the others are trying to defend him. Why, what’s wrong? He’s not in trouble, is he, sensei?” Iida responded worriedly, trying to assess the situation as best he can through the small crowd.

“No, he’s not in trouble. There’s just been a misunderstanding.” Aizawa quickly hung up, running faster, All Might and Midnight not far behind.

When they finally arrived on the scene, Izuku was struggling to hold on to his friends as they were forcefully ripped from him. Each time the HPSC’s people tug, Izuku just grabbed on again.

“Hey,” All Might yelled, “Get off of him!” he started pulling at all the people surrounding Izuku, wrenching them off. Once he was free, he stood in front of Izuku and his friends, protecting them from the harsh grip of the HPSC.

Izuku’s friends- notably Iida and Uraraka- comforted him and further protected him. “Now,” Midnight started, addressing the HPSC members, “Would you mind extending common courtesy and telling us why you plan to kidnap one of our students?” she asked politely, a hidden threat among her words. She was ready to use Somnambulist.

The HPSC people stepped back, failure and realization painted on their faces. Unfortunately for them, there was no getting out of this diplomatic rut. Apparently they realized what they were going to do.

“We’re sorry, ma’am,” One of the members said. He politely bowed. “We’ll review our evidence. Clearly there’s been a… misunderstanding. Excuse us for taking up your time.” He turned to his comrades, signaling for them to retreat.

All Might and Aizawa sighed. At least now their student was safe.

Notes:

Welp. Well here we are again… it’s always such a pleasure. See if you can find the 3 (three!) videogame/music references. All three have to do with videogames, and two are song lyrics from a game song/fansong.

That said, congrats for making it to the end and sticking it put through this poorly-thought-out mess of a fic! I promise that my future fics will have more planning and all that.

Made possible by viewers like you. Thank you. (Another reference! This time it’s a show…)

Notes:

Stuff in the timeline of this fic is a little inconsistent. Dorms arent introduced until AFTER the kamino ward fight (iirc), sooo… yeah. Also, timeskips.

Unfortunately, on its’ way out of my docs, the italics got destroyed. I do not know how to fix it, and honestly im not gonna bother.
