Yup, me too but I love when Neptune have the madness. Moreover, if consciousness gets rid of attacks of schizophrenia or, on the contrary, increases them, it will be more interesting, especially if in the scene of confessions Neptune is in some kind of crazy fit.
Honestly I don't like fluff, i don't like angst, I like realism. This is when characters behave as closely as possible to the canon or the author's vision. Or the characters have the same psychological specials
I like Neptune when he was in madness too! However, if I have to write a fanfic centered around mad Neptune, I want to make sure he recollect some of his sanity and feel better with hurt/heal senses if possible. I respect the canon lore and wants to get closer to the canon lore in most cases, but I’m also concerned about their mental and physical health as a character.
Tbh when I thinking about them having lemon, I usually portray them as planethuman, planetballs, humans on the outside but celestial structures on the inside, or they can simply switch between different forms. I always respect the fact they’re sentient celestial bodies first, then maybe have human-like appearances second.
