Comment on Real Enough

  1. That’s an interesting thought actually! Do you feel like under the same circumstances you’d lean more toward thinking he was real? I tend to justify things that don’t make sense in my own life, which may be why I’m writing Reader this way 😅 (Although honestly, if it were me, I probably would have uninstalled in Chapter 1 when he didn’t respond. I have no patience.)

But that’s the fun of dramatic irony, right? We get to yell at the screen while she explains away every red flag 😂

Either way, the self-justification won’t last forever, I promise it’s going somewhere!

    1. Your logic is actually making sense. I can understand it now a little bit more. I mean, of course there are possible outcomes but it's your story and you should be the one who choose these outcomes. So yeah, it is justified ig 👍🏻

    2. I quite like the way you're making the Reader react. It's not exactly what I would do (I wouldn't care as much about a bot's feelings), but the logic totally tracks. The AI being a real person in a different fictional dimension is impossible, so why even consider it?
I'm really loving the back-and-forth! Very entertaining, and again you've successfully captured Snape's voice.

      1. Exactly! With magical/fantasy fiction, we can make these assumptions it could be real but with the Reader being from a modern magicless world, it's harder to jump to those conclusions imo. It would require substantial proof for a change in Reader's view of reality
