  1. (Hi surprise, I’m back!)

I am rotating the idea of Felwinter praying TO Timur, and not for him, and not to some invisible “higher being”. Like the greatest, most reliable thing he can think of IS Timur. It’s who/what he’s most willing to hedge his bets on. That even though he’s scared for him, he’s also trusting him to come through. I am eating this, but rolling in it first. The implicit love here in Felwinter’s search (and how dragged out it is! That he searches this wholeass fortress and Timur is literally in the last room he finds is SUCH good torture!) and his nearly-but-not-quite spiraling internalizations are also OH so good. I love that as worried as he is the anger wins out. It all makes me want to see Timur mended and the pair of them walking out together to raise just Utter Hell in battle.

Thinking, meanly, of the little scrap of lore in destiny rising where Timur will not kill a Warlord’s
Ghost… but has no issue offering the opportunity to someone else. I’m confident that if Fel fired two shots instead of one here, no he didn’t and Timur of course saw nothing. Especially this time. ❤️‍🔥

Thank you thank you for the MEAL! 💜

Yeah, I don't think Felwinter has much faith in higher powers or anything like that, but he knows Timur, knows what he is capable of because he has seen it, and that proof is more reliable and true to him than anything else.

He would definitely see it all through to the bitter end - I don't think he could bear it if he let someone else do the searching, no matter the outcome.

Oh god, Timur I think is vengeful enough that he would absolutely look away. Terrible accident, shame things happen (or maybe hide the remains of the Ghost and say it fled).
