This was so good! I love how viscerally Steve responds to finding out about Bucky and Nat, how the knowledge has this immediate and intense physical effect on him. I think that rings very true to Steve's character and how he's generally acted with regards to Bucky. In TWS he's willing to die just because he refuses to fight back against Bucky — not even because he's certain that this will somehow save Bucky, or because this is the magic key to breaking his conditioning, but simply because he will not fight Bucky. I can't imagine Steve responding any other way to learning about Bucky and Nat than he does here: grateful that Bucky had some glimmer fo light in seventy years of otherwise unmitigated hell, and then heartbroken and devastated all over again. So I thought that was especially well done.
Thank you so much for saying so! Steve's bonds with both Bucky and Nat are so, so important to me, so I worked hard on trying to get that reveal right.
