I like your portrayal of Lana in a time of corruption, a time where she tries to hide her feelings. She lost Mia just like she lost her warmth, and she did not realise how much she needed it until then.
She has more bad luck than even Maggey Byrde. She was forced to choose that path, and Mia's death was just the beginning of Lana paying the price.
